Awesome place! Exceptional, award-winning pizza with fresh ingredients and great expertise.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a fun place to be and the ambiance and the waitstaff reflect it nicely.

Pizza awesome, service not so awesome. Would order pizza to go next time.

Good pizz and fun atmosphere. Went on trivia night and had a blast. Staff very friendly and laid back.

Pizza was really good and suuuuper dirty (I had fried chicken, extra cheese and a bunch of other junk food on top and it was all good), Vegan pal also raved about their Vegan mozzarella so no complaints re food at all. Service was a bit lacklustre and slow so only 4/5 but if you're not in a hurry then it's a good shout

My wife and I had been to Flying Saucer twice before and really loved it but this weekend was a different story. The service was horrible. We didn't feel welcome at all It took awhile for our server to come and when he did, we felt as if we're there as a favor. As everybody has bad days, we decided to give our server the benefit of the doubt and instead of leaving, we decided to order. The food was great but we had to ask for plates, utensils and water and he never came to ask about the food or if we needed anything else. Very sad to see it.

Hidden gem for savory vegan eating in downtown Salem. Of course, they offer a variety of non-vegan pizza options, but I was glad to find a number of non-dairy options on the menu, all of which hit the spot.

We ordered a plain cheese pizza and it was delicious! Not to mention, the service was great as well!

Just got a pizza there and my experience was terrible. I put in an order for pick up and the pizza I ordered (washburne) only had potatoes, vegan cheese, a couple tomatoe pieces, scallions, and japenenos. No chilli or sauce of any kind. Such a big disappoint. Would not go back.

Visited from Seattle and hoped this place was associated with the OG FSPC in Redmond but sadly it isn t.

Bummer these guys stole the concept and name via the courts.

Pizza is ok though. Drinks are better.

We walked in and didn't recieve any service or help for atleast 3 minutes. All the employees just looked at us like we didn't belong. So we left and went to flat bread where the service was 10/10.

Sci-fi themed restaurant. Overall pretty good pizza. Staff were friendly. Only problem is that food took awhile to come and we only ordered a small pizza. All in all, pretty good and a must go place if sci-fi is your thing.

Food came out very quickly, and the pizza was delicious (my only complaint was that the sauce was VERY garlicky) but the staff was a little slow and they weren't very personable. Wine list was good as was the beer list, and they had so many amazing pizza options I'd go back for the pizza.

Menu was confusing to read. Had ham pizza, really good! Was suggested this place by another tourist.

I cannot say enough positive about this wonderful little place!! Such great food and a fun experience. Staff is super helpful with tourism suggestions. Vegan options galore! I couldn't decide between the vegan Nick Fury and the vegan Poison Ivy, so they were able to give me half and half...and I'm so glad they did because both were absolutely delicious! This is definitely a regular stop for me when I visit the area. Highly recommend!

Minus 1 star because of the service provided. Waitress was super slow and seemed not too into working. Also the 'city street soda' was odd tasting nevertheless. I tried the ginger ale and there was absolutely no ginger taste what so ever, just soda water. The waitress said that's just how it taste and was kind enough to take mine off the bill but careless to ask if my friend who ordered the same thing was satisfied (he wasn't).

Oh my god was this ever good. The place itself was so cool with the decor and stuff. Great beer and drink list. The pizza, it was out of this world (haha get it?). But honestly, so delicious. If I go back to Salem again I might just live in this amazing pizza spot.

Food is amazing...the staff seems to neglect the customers to socialize with each other... Still awesome pizza ...be nice to get some friendlier service next time!

Ordered the vision pizza. It was so greasy. The dough was so thin in the middle so it soaked up the oil. The cook killed it with too much balsamic glaze. It was too sweet to enjoy half of the pizza. Server took 1/2 off the bill. Service was eh.

The pizza is usually good, but they are a bit inconsistent. Never bad, but sometimes great, sometimes just pretty good.

The pizza is about average. It's clean, the service is good, and the Sci fi atmosphere is fun.

I never give reviews, but this is hands down the best vegan pizza my spouse and I have ever had!

They have many vegan options, which is why I visited. I got the vegan Nick Fury pizza and it was delicious. They also have a lot of alcohol options (including alcohol free beer and mocktails). The service was extremely friendly and quick. I would absolutely eat here again!

Great food with Vegetarian and vegan options, service is fantastic and selection from local breweries rocks! Fun Sci-Fi atmosphere! See ya there!

They had very good dips for appetizers. Their crust, sauce and cheese blend is excellent. They also have INCREDIBLE red and green peppers on the pizza, very flavorful and completely cooked.

Such fantastic pizza! We ve loved every pizza we have ever tried there. They have more typical types of pizza but then also awesome artisan ones with a ton of vegetarian options. I think my new favorite is the Poison Ivy. So good! Plus they made pickup during the pandemic so easy and so safe.

This has been our go to pizza place for several years because of the excellent craft beer offerings (before it was such a thing!) and mainly because the pizzas were the best around with three bases to keep everyone happy. The last couple of times we have been though I have been disappointed. No pizza base choices offered and the quality of the toppings were just not the same. I am wondering if there has been a change in ownership/staff or something and will be looking out to see if it improves. We'll be sorry if this becomes just another pizza place (albeit with a wider than usual range).

Great pizza, tons of unique pizzas, good beverage selection, fun atmosphere. Vegetarian and vegan specific menus as well.

I tried both the cheese for the kids and the Space Invader; they both rocked!

It was cool that they offered the beer infused crust. While I didn t taste much of a difference, it did add a little differentiation to the average pie.

Decent price overall. Highly recommend if you stop in Salem.

I love Flying Saucer! I haven t been in a little bit but I went back and my favorite pizza, The Emma Frost, was off the menu but my server Adrian assured me they could make it! He was on top of his game the entire time and never missed a step! He had a vast knowledge of the beer they were serving that day and even let us know when one keg had kicked and they added a new one to the list. I always have a great time at FSPC and the staff is great. So are the specialty drinks and selection of craft beer and ciders.

Promised service until 1:45 am, after walking 10 minutes in 40 degree temperatures and arriving plenty of time before the service cutoff we were refused service. They should never tell you one thing on the phone and go against their promise of service.

The staff were all friendly and treated us well. The gluten free pizza dough was mediocre at best. It was rather bland and far too thin. However the gluten free desert groot was delicious, I highly recommend trying it.

They were hopping on Halloween weekend but everyone was happy so it made the waite plesant.

We ordered our pizza for delivery to our hotel. We were told it be at least an hour but it got here in under 40 minutes. The pizza (mars attacks) was delicious. I'd rate it a very close second to the best pizza I've had. Well prepared and great ingredients nothing cookie cutter about this place. If your in Salem Mass. Take the time to visit or order from this place.

The best vegan pizza and garlic knots. Its so flavorful and realistic. The garlic knots with vegan cheese is so garlicy, the texture is amazing and mmmm!! The Mars Attack vegan pizza is my fav, the meatballs are soo good! Wow create chains around the US so more can enjoy your amazing food!

Always a great experience when I go! Staff is knowlegable about the food and drinks they serve. The decor is amazing! Can never disappoint a sci-fi nerd. An employee there does amazing artwork! Pizza is amazing. Can never go wrong coming here, always a stop when I'm in salem.

I live here literally a 5 minute WALK away. I have ordered twice. Both times it was ice cold..both times blamed it on whatever delivery service they used at the time with no help offered.

I love their Silurian pizza and their decor! Plus they show great stuff on Netflix and got me into Rick and Morty.

Vegan food is in high demand here so make sure they have what you need when you arrive.

Pretty darn good gluten free pizza. The music was a little loud and the atmosphere is pretty kitschy, but hey, that's what they're going for. Definitely a funky pizza place!

Good pizza, good atmosphere and reasonable bill for 4 of us to eat lunch and have dessert and drinks.

The Gluten Free Pizza is basically $20 cracker and cheese, and not very tasty cracker either.
They used to give more toppings on gluten free pizza, according to one of their employees it was because they were trying to make up for the steep price, they stopped doing that, so, you pay a lot for very little.
Very expensive for what you get
Best to stick with on the rocks or straight up then their overly sweet concoctions
Plan ahead because it's pretty certain, no matter when you go here, you will be waiting a looonngggg time to eat.

Why One Star?
They continue to be on celiac disease websites, and market to these people, yet, at the same time continue on a downward slope with what they actually make available, and an upward slope on the price. It's not right. I have given them many chances and won't be returning.

Suggestions:
There's a company called Against the Grain. They make a great pizza crust. Also, there are other places in the area with really good and affordable gluten free pizza, perhaps asking them for advice would help in this area.

This was the best pizza I think I've ever had - vegan or not. The Silurian is the best vegan vegan mac and cheese EVER and tons of garlic, red peppers, and chives on top of some super delicious crust. It is to die for. The meatballs appetizer was great too!

Best vegan pizza I've ever had and the decor was so much fun!

While the food was good and the place looked like a Star Trek flashback, the price was way higher than it should have been. Great if your a tourist and want to drop $50 on 2 small pizzas and a small salad but for a local, too high.

Pizza and beer, pizza and beer! You also get to bore your girlfriend educating her about sci-fi memorabilia on the walls. Phenomenal experience.
