we did the combo mit/harvard tour and had a wonderful experience. katie was our third-year mit student guide. she was fantastic! she answered all of our questions and offered great insight to the student life at mit. she was funny and cheerful while providing quirky facts about mit. the entire tour was fun and informative thanks to katie! michaela was our second-year harvard student guide. she was very knowledgeable about harvard history and had a pleasant demeanor throughout the tour. michaela shared some insider information of harvard student life. both young ladies made the tours very enjoyable. this tour is a definite value for prospective students and families.

Definitely the best way to see the MIT campus. Everything is really sprawling and spread out, so it was awesome to have such an informed student to show us around. The tour actually begins off campus in Kendall Square, right near the subway - it was very convenient to find. Can't miss if you want to see MIT right!

Wonderful tour in Harvard University! You can learn extensively and with fun about the history, the architecture and the customs of such important institute. Our guide, Aze, was fantastic!! He is studying History and therefore is able to explain properly the heritage of Harvard; moreover he is a great public speaker as he maintained our attention high throughout all the tour. Strongly recommended!

Very good "insider" tour of Harvard & MIT (Harvard's undergrad admission dept actually recommended them! HOWEVER, these are not the info/stat-driven official school admissions tours.) Eli was our guide for Harvard and was bright, enthusiastic and engaging. He was full of historical facts and anecdotes to inform and keep everyone interested. Plenty of time was given for pictures too. He was quick to offer lunch recommendations and insight regarding his experience as a student as well!
David, a grad student, was our guide for MIT and was equally informative and friendly. Since our group was rather small he was able to talk a little more about his experience as a student. The highlight for us, though, was entering a few MIT buildings and seeing actual labs and workshops!! Such a great place to learn!!! These tours are DEFINITELY worth it!

I took the MIT tour on a Saturday afternoon with my younger sister who was visiting me. She is a rising senior in high school and is narrowing down her list of schools to apply to, so I knew that once the MIT tour launched this would be a perfect tour to take her on to show her the school and culture of Cambridge. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and so much FUN! She really did a fantastic job of explaining the rich atmosphere of such a prestigious school, and really took the time to answer the group's questions and make sure that everyone was following along. The tour is so engaging and such a great deal too! We were told that there is a neighboring tour at Harvard, called the Hahvahd Tour by Trademark Tours, that I will definitely take my sister to. This is a must-see tour if you are in the area, fit for prospective students and tourists as well!

The tours of MIT and Harvard were reasonably priced and gave a feel for each campus. My 12 year old was very excited to see each school. She LOVED the MIT tour, but didn't like the Harvard one. The guides had a lot to do with it, but also the culture. MIT is all about hacks and counter culture in a high IQ kind of style. Harvard was just kind of commercial and pretentious. We almost left the Harvard tour early. But I think seeing both helped us appreciate MIT more. Now I need to sell my kidneys to raise enough $ to send her there. Who needs a gall bladder?

Our guide was Louis Zekowski and what a fantastic hour! His knowledge and apparent passion for Hahvahd was on display. Our daughter was engaged as much as we were and we would definitely recommend.
