My wife and I checked in the night before Thanksgiving. We arrived at our room to discover it wasn't the river-view we'd requested but otherwise there were no issues.

This hotel offers clean and updated rooms at a reasonable price. Located across the street from the conference center and within walking distance of some delicious dining options as well as a couple of little fishing spots if you're so inclined. Pool area was clean and well maintained and the staff was courteous and friendly.

We pulled up in our boat and ate at the ground round. Service was excellent!!

We had a lovely stay for a last minute night out! Beautiful view, friendly staff, clean, everything we could want. The $voucher for breakfast isn't really of any value. It's $10 off per person, for a $10 cost. So, it doesn't save you anything to add it to your reservation.

Attended for a conference. Great location, very nice guest rooms. Meeting rooms worked out well; meal service was excellent. Staff are very courteous and helpful. No question I'd stay here again.

Wonderful hotel stay in Oshkosh, WI. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. quiet, clean and comfortable rooms. Definately stay there again

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. The hotel itself was nice, staff was great upon arrival. Once checked in, we went to our room and one member of our party took a shower. At the end of the 10 minute shower, the water in the tub was almost at calf-level. We called downstairs and complained and they offered to send us to another room for the other members of our party to shower. It was an unbelievable response, but we didn't have many options. Two other people had to travel to another floor to shower which was clearly not convenient. When I went to check-out and inquired about an adjustment to the bill, the manager offered a $20 adjustment. I let her know that was absolutely unacceptable given that our shower was completely unusable. She rolled her eyes and offered to take half off, but "that was it." I said fine just so I could be done and leave. It's too bad that the hotel (and manager) were such a disaster. We have a son attending school in Oshkosh for the next 4 years and will be visiting frequently, given that he's an athlete and we travel to watch him compete as often as possible. We'll definitely be staying somewhere else next time.

The food was your standard bar and grill affair, but eating outside near the river to watch the draw bridges go up and down is definitely worth it!

The room had the softest floor I've ever experienced at a hotel!

Very elegant hotel. They had their Christmas decorations up and they were outstanding. Everything was a photo op for our event it was perfect. I wish I would have booked a hotel room to stay for the evening. Being on the water made for a great ambiance. And the staff was impeccable for our dining.

We always enjoy staying here when we are in Oshkosh. It is a Great hotel with an outstanding staff and the resteurant is excellent. The location along the river is enjoyable as well. Love it. Dave Clark.

Horible!Staff sucks.for 250 bucks a night you think you would get decent service.3 times the knocked on our door to tell us we where being loud when it was the wedding party that was there making the noise.We where not with the wedding party.2 times they bothered us to tell us to stop slamming the door which the dip sticks should fix the door cause it slams all by itelf.Told them we wanted a late check out when we hacked in.Told them 2 other times too.Then at 10 am they where knocking obnoxiously every 15 minutes telling us we had to check out.Called the front desk about the wifi not working and they really did not care.I will never stay there again and do not recommend this place to anyone.Oh and the hotel restaurant the ground round sucks.

Attended a conference located at this hotel. For ease of access to the conference I stayed here. Overall satisfied. My one negative comment is I could not get a "late check-out" . The conference on the final day did not end until 11am. Check-out is by "11am". I had to inconvinence myself and check-out early.

Attended a wedding. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Day staff is always wonderful. Nighttime staff leaves a great deal to be desired. The young lady behind the desk was short and rude with the three of us who checked in. Housecleaning staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Very nice rooms and hotel, very clean and accommodating. Room was above average for a hotel in this price range.

The Tuesday night drink special in the lounge was great!

This hotel was pretty wonderful for the first four nights of our stay. Everything was clean and the staff is very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the same weekend we were staying there, the hotel was packed with wedding guests and prom goers. Again, none of this would have really posed a problem, but that night around 10:30 a car alarm started going off in the parking structure right under our room window. It would stop after a few minutes, and then a few minutes later start back up again. The alarm kept starting and stoping, which prompted my roommate to go down to the front desk to see if they could do anything about it or at least call the police to handle the situation. They seemed hesitant to get involved or get anyone else involved once they realized the vehicle owner was a local. So we spent the last night of our stay with very little sleep and constantly waking up due to the alarm knowing we had a long drive home ahead in the morning. It finally seemed to completely stop around 4 am. They gave us 3 coupons for 10% off breakfast at the Ground Round for the trouble. We're not sure if anyone else complained about it, but it kind of felt like they did little to remedy the situation in the moment and then what they did offer wasn't helpful since were aiming to leave early and we really couldn't stay for breakfast.

We enjoyed our hotel stay. The bar was good and the amenities were nice. I was a bit disappointed we didn't get the water view we thought we booked, but overall nice location.

We stayed there for my son's wedding. 4 nights. The staff was wonderful the rooms were very clean. The setup crew retrieved any items we asked for and was happy to do so. I would definitely recommend staying at the Best Western Primer Hotel Waterfront Oshkosh Wi. CG Florida

Restaurant has great food. Breakfast selection is better than Perkins and you have a view of a river. From a local Sunday morning breakfast with the guys.

Clean. Great service. Right down the street from Main Street bars.

This is as far as I am concerned one of the nicest places in Oshkosh.

Clean rooms. Nice lobby. But the front desk was pretty harsh - check in was 3 pm and they didn't let us check in at 2:50 So we had to take a stroll.

One of the bartenders wasn't the greatest but he was nice at least. Everything else about the hotel was great

I have stayed at this hotel several times and always found it to be great. The rooms are clean and efficient and the breakfast at the restaurant is excellent and very fast.

Although I had a small incident with a spider, my stat here was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The general manager went out of his way to make sure I was ok after my little incident. I would stay here again!

Was here for a wedding. Beautiful views from the room. Bride had a nice suite on the 6th floor which had a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and very luxurious Jacuzzi separate from the shower and toilet. The rate she got was extremely reasonable. Food that was served for the rehearsal dinner was pretty good.

Stayed here on New Year's Eve too have a nice evening with the kids swimming. It wasn't the most pleasant of a stay. In our room they had bottles of waters for $2.00, that my daughter was going to drink until I realized it was HALF drank and already opened. It was sitting there with the $2.00 tag on it and literally half drank! I did bring this up to the desk lady and she didn't seem all that concerned, stated she'd just let housekeeping know-- seriously!!! (Pictures and comment on a different review page). The pool was nice although there was a couple in there practically on top of each other grabbing each other and making out, the security handled it well for everyone in the pool area who did not feel comfortable, especially with a pool full of children. They were on top of it and very professional. I will add as well upon checking out, a few days later we had noticed a $30.00 charge extra on our room. Which nothing extra should have been charged.

Food at the restaurant was good, but they messed up our order.

Best Western Hotel is Oshkosh is a great hotel at a affordable price when ever you need to stay in the Oshkosh area. The staff will go out of its way to accommodate you. Place is like brand new and is very clean. I would recommend to anybody!

It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to take him to the impromptu comedy show in Oshkosh. Best western was in walking distance to the place and it was beautiful. Front desk was welcoming and very friendly. The lobby was beautiful. Our room was very clean and simple. Most hotels smell like smoke and I'm afraid to get under the covers but this establishment was well taken care of. The price was affordable and I loved the fact that they have yhe restautant Ground Round located inside of the building. It is an excellent addition. We didn't have to worry about breakfast, lunch or dinner because they had us covered. We will have to stay there in the Summer when the boats are out and we can sit on the deck.

Great place clean rooms and a bar and restaurant in side. Excellent service I will definitely be going back next time I need a hotel in Oshkosh.

My family stayed here for a wedding that was at the convention center. All of the the staff we dealt with were courteous and professional, the room was clean, we had a great view of the river, and the reception at the convention center was great. Everyone we encountered was helpful. The food at the wedding and in the restaurant was delicious. Overall a great experience.

Good amenities with pool, restaurant, business center. Clean and great service. Location is also right off the water. The only complaint was bar closed early due to lack of business during holiday season because it's a college town.

Probably the "Best" Best Western we ever stayed at. The rooms were super clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great river front location with outside seating for food and cocktails. Within walking distance to other restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed Roxy's Supper Club.

Great service and the pool was clean. Also the beds were pretty comfortable. That's all I could ask for.
