A lot of walking and all to often rude people at the entrance but once you get in all the carnies are very respectful and the rest of the fair worker are polite. I would only ask to see more transit to parking and maybe not so many of the same rides. Which Leads me to the last thing I would ask to have changed..... The less same rides means more space for the amount of people to move around in.

They always have great events at this place. Parking is usually 6 dollars and they are efficient at getting you parked. Leaving can be a challenge as some of the exits are not clearly marked.

Love it

Well had problems with 1 of the workers shoving the bar on the storm ride on my bladder n pelvis. So was really sore. He told it was his job to make sure it was locked. But he really hurt me. So probably won't be going back, to expensive also. Best part is soaked up sun sun n spent it with the family.

Exiting not enough signs. Special events maybe build up events instead of only one event for one ring... Allot of room to grow to utilize the ground for more events plus s parade would was been nice.... Had a good time and will go next year also

The fried Oreos, Funnel Cake, French Fries, Lemonade, and Ice Cream tasted as great as ever! Also really enjoyed the giant Ferris Wheel and one of the spinny rides there. We went on a little horror attraction, but it only lasted about 40 seconds and was a complete joke (that s the fair for you haha). My boyfriend did take a shot at the game where you shoot the red star out, but no cigar (dang red pieces hanging around in the middle). Though I m giving this only three stars for the astronomical prices for games, tickets and food.

My boyfriend spent well over a hundred dollars for the food, the adult tickets, the game, and a total on three rides we were able to do. You shouldn t have to pay seven dollars for four fried Oreos that could be potentially made at home for much cheaper. And the large cups for the Lemonade were the size of a child s cup you would find at McDonald s and were costing eight dollars a cup. To do some games I noticed they costed from five to eight dollars a try just for a stuffed animal the vendor bought for a few cents from China. Speaking of the games, not many games that would potentially have a good chance to win at were there. Just about all of the major scam games you could think of were here (deflated balloon dart games, ladder games that twist around, more balloon dart games, over-inflated basketball games, more balloon dark games...). So if you want that big animal be prepared to shell out a pretty penny for it as you will lose almost 100% of the time. Also the games where a dude guesses you age and whatnot have changed. They added a new rule where if he guesses close to your actual weight, height, or age within a certain range you ll lose the game. That sucks since I remember a time where it wasn t like that before. Though even if you do win you re only allowed to pick a prize from a bin on the ground. The stuffed animals all over the vendor are just for show.

Just for ten ride tickets it costed us twelve dollars. Entering the fair for three adults costed him over 42 dollars. I remember the fair being a bit cheaper with everything when I was younger, but now everything is as expensive as ever. It will probably come to a point where only wealthy families will be able to go, just like how major amusement parks are becoming. And that s a total bummer since I would think the fair was sort of an alternative to having to pay for a big amusement park.

One more thing I should mention, since we went at night the cracker country attraction closed and the petting zoo also closed. Also there were no more shows going on for the night. So be careful when going at night. It becomes to where you absolutely have to spend money if you want to have any kind of fun rather than touring the fair and waiting for some fight to break out on the streets.

All in all I still enjoyed my trip at the fair, but it s just so crazy expensive and unfair that it makes me not want to go back just to save my boyfriend s bank account. In my opinion fairs should not be that disgustingly expensive, as lower-income families want to have some fun too. I sort of wonder if the price inflation has something to do with Hillsborough s huge tax increase in the past year? Either way I might think of a different activity to do next time instead of going to the fair again since it s so expensive.

The good ol fair. One of the oldest family/friends outings.
I highly recommend to get the wrist band to get in all the rides. I think is $35 plus fees.
Love love visiting the barn and feeding the livestock.

We had a great time it was a wonderful Fair. And the police presence there made me feel safer and with them having you walk through metal detectors and they were checking purses made me feel even more comfortable it may have taken a little bit longer but it felt better knowing that they were at least taking the extra security measures they keep us safe

The parking facilities are great and a shuttle service was offered for those who had to park relatively farther away. There needs to be more ticketing agents as well as more security agents to reduce the long lines to get in. Bathroom were plentiful and clean.

Thing is okay! People have a general consensus of 'meh' about it, and that holds especially true if you don't go to the rides or events; when you do, though, it's definitely quite fun. More so for the children. I don't recommend staying too late though, 'cos the cold will make your joints freeze!

Not impressed with our experience as a vendor. Security repeated sent people to the wrong event or told people they didn't know anything about our event. They costs us and the other vendors a lot of revenue. Please get your act together with your security staff.

The Fairgrounds r lovely, BUT and it's a big BUT, personnel directing traffic on the grounds, plus Will Call pickup was extraordinarily disorganized. At every point we tried to find the main entrance, or to pick up our tickets, we got either blank looks, long waits or outright misinformation. They failed spectacularly on site as well as on the phone. Contradictions everywhere!

Venue was too small for the amount of people. Not enough seating. Most seats had only a partial view of the stage if at all. They parked you far from the enterance even when there were a ton of closer spots.
