Slamfest was a blast. They need more signs though when they are having more than one event at the same time. I must have missed the sign that stated I needed to park at gate 3 for my event and not gate 1. Then again the parking attendees get all mad and frown and wave their flags and wands aggressively at you if you don't go where they want you too. So yeah I got my exercise in but I still had fun. We live and we learn :)

I had a nice time. Last night was the final night and it was only $5 to get in if you brought 2 canned goods.
Make sure to remember which gate you parked at and lastly take cash... it's just faster that way

We attended the RV Show in February and had an exhausting time. They need better transportation from the parking area to the entrance. It is not real convenient to take a tram to the entrance, than another to the gate, and finally another tram through the parking lot.

We were working the Tampa RV Super Show representing Travel Resorts of America. We had a great time and met a lot of wonderful folks. Looking forward to returning next year. Congratulations to Ashlyn for winning the Yeti cooler!

Only visits have been for the RV shows. Easy to find, lots of parking, friendly staff, but NO shade. Be prepared if the event you are attending takes place outside of the big buildings!

Easy to get to, decent size evacuation depends on the event. We've visited the home show which was a disappointing event behind very small and not a whole lot to learn or see. Parking should be free especially for unpopular events!

Repticon. Unclear location. Unclear expensive parking, which they didn't mention that I'd have to pay to park when I purchased the tickets online. The people who were standing out there "directing" traffic were just staring off into space and waving their hands in the air. They could've hired an elephant and it would have done a better job. Most of the vendors were well organized, however, some vendors were downright terrible and should have been removed. I think Florida state fairgrounds, whoever is in charge of it, should make sure that if someone uses that space, that they are of a certain quality first

They need to learn how to direct the traffic better I spend 1hour n half on MLK to get inside only to drop someone there. It was traffic on MLK on 301 on Orient Rd it was crazy.

What an impressive start forward. I regularly came all my life, usually they have good concerts, but not this year. Thankfully they had enough to keep the kids going. $40 for a helicopter tour is well worth it.

This is a composite score based on several things. The entrance process for the State Fair is HORRIBLE. I needed 2 adult tickets, and I had the exact amount in cash. It still took the clerk 5 minutes of clicking on various items on the screen to generate the tickets. There were no items needing a discount, no credit card info to take, no debit card to process, no multiple family tickets, nothing. 5 minutes. It should have been no more then 30-seconds.
The Fairgrounds were clean and well-maintained. The new blue stripe painted down the center of the main walkway is a welcome addition since it points to important places, like the nearest bathrooms.
The no return policy is troubling. What if a parent needed something from their car that they forgot, like a child's medication? Sorry, no hand-stamp. If you leave, you have to pay again to get back in.
Lack of a discount for military is also troubling. I know, on one day during the Fair's run, military get a break. But those in the military do not always get to take off work on the day the Fair is giving them a discount. They go only when permitted. Come on, State Fair management, how much revenue would you lose by giving the military a break whenever they get to come?

Great
