Seriously quirky cafe. Food and drinks was fresh and delicious. Staff were lovely. It's a bit kooky so give it a try.

Decent coffee, friendly staff, funky and fun decor. Beats nearby Starbucks and Nero hands down!
At Flirt you can bring your children or chat with a friend in front of a cuppa, however I discourage you in buying cooked food as when we order a fish finger sandwich the fish finger were cold.
The staff was nice and helpful, the decor is particular which makes the place special. They also have a huge outside area which is summer get very busy.
Inside, there is a corner with toys right next to table so that you can leave your kids playing there while enjoying your drink.
It's located right in the triangle of Bournemouth which is also famous for the variety of gay clubs around there, and the type of customer going to Flirt are of all kinds.
Overall it's a very nice place to visit.
Lovely little cafe, broad choice of food and drink options and very friendly staff. Original attended the venue for one of their infamous quizzes - booking highly recommended as the teams get the tables booked up fast! Ideal for a drop in whilst shopping and very reasonably priced.
Relaxed independent with a mainstream appeal and welcoming team. Great place to stop and chill
Flirt is a wonderful place. It has a very open and chilled out atmosphere, is LGBTQIA friendly and does great food and drink. I really can't compliment this place enough. The staff are wonderful. Really friendly and professional! I love having nachos each time I come, or jacket potatoes. I must say vegetarian options are great and there are smoothies and healthy options too. My husband and I always have a drink and often a bite to eat when we are in town.
Great selection of food, interesting decor and helpful staff. They run some really cool events too
Love love love flirt. Fantastic atmosphere, very quirky, they welcome Everyone and food is fantastic catering for many special dietary requirements
A wonderful retro style cafe with quirky menus and great food. A must try.
Excellent relaxed, friendly atmosphere and very good food, especially for vegetarians.
Extensive menu with interesting options. Service slow, but it came with genuine smiles and an apology for waiting. Food was delicious, worth waiting for.
Good place for a coffee with friends, nice atmosfere, LGBT friendly
Have been here
several times always polite good service good prices would recommend
Nice looking place, very quirky and fun, good drinks selection and food great too!
Amazing atmosphere. Friendly staff. They have great events such as live music, or game nights etc. I love Flirt cafe bar but I can't say perfect drinks and food :( Sorry flirt cafe! My tea tasted terrible last time
It wasnt service was slow and we only had panninis and a jacket potatoe . Wasnt impressed .
Great space and good service. The fish finger pitta had mostly bacon in it... With probably 1 chopped up fish finger.. So slightly gutted about that... My husband LOVED his smoothie and we enjoyed the music. Table was a bit 'sticky' overall. Worth a visit with it's unique decoram and great smoothies tho.
Good reasonably priced food. Good decking area to sit outside on a nice day
Nice coffee shop. The staff is always happy and polite. The terrace is the best part of it
A firm favourite & local I frequent. Great selection of food & drinks -hot & cold, meals & snacks, eat-in or take-away, healthy & indulgent options, vegan-friendly & satisfies both the v.hungry or those wanting a light bite. A lively yet relaxing atmosphere with just good vibes all around & exceptional service. WiFi & 'quieter' spots mean it's also a great work/office-space &/or home-away-from-home, where you can just relax on a sofa or armchair & read a paper, magazine or browse away on your phone/tablet. Also, v
community-oriented supporting many causes, hiring spaces for talks, courses/classes, events, fundraisers... or providing a venue for locals to congregate for their v.popular weekly pub quiz! Love love love
Good place, friendly and good selection of food and drinks
Excellent food and drinks !, good service interesting decor , I would defiantly recommend for a good place to stop for lunch even with kids, if you don t want to eat at local fast food places , though this is slightly more expensive than the fast food places but it s so worth it !, the sweet potato fries were really good and the cheesy nachos !! , I enjoyed my 1st choice of drink which was a smoothie called Leonard , I also enjoyed my second choice of drink which was a Oreo cookie milkshake , all were a very good quality I will defiantly return
Having moved to Cornwall I miss this place. They are super friendly and I'll definitely be back when I'm in Bournemouth again.
Not the most beautiful decor, but friendly and decent.
Cool place! The Bournemouth Chess Club plays there. Food is pretty good. I liked a beefburger and a salmon steak.
1st saturday evening of the month is board game night with Bag of Holding
Lovely venue quirky great for kids. Food ok pricey.
Wonderful milkshakes and hot chocolates! Delicious All-you-can-eat breakfast as well! Pet friendly shop.
Great staff, food, and hosts all sort if events. Allows dogs and also has a lot of space inside. Great for a chat or an evening out with friends.
Loverly friendly place ..easy to relax .. Food takes time ..
Great little cafe bar. Good food and amazing milkshakes.
Menu has changed a little since new ownership. Still very good. Busy place at times and fantastic in the sun on the benches.
Great drinks food and service and a wonderful atmosphere in here all the time !
Amazing foods, wide range of foods available and a overall good atmosphere, 10/10 would go there again and enjoy the environment.
Nice place, lovely aesthetic. Just went for a quick drink but still enjoyed it, the service was a little slow though
Went there for the quiz night multiple times, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good food. Unfortunately the queuing times can sometimes take up to 7 minutes. But it's worth it for the good food :)
Flirt Cafe bar, sitting in the heart of Bournemouth's Triangle area, is a friendly and welcoming central location in the western part of towns shopping district. With a wide variety of events in the evenings, and usually an array of specialist activities in the daytime, there is something for everyone.
There is a constant buffet of healthy food options, an array of daily hot foods as well as a "to order" menu. A vast choice of hot, cold and healthy drinks menus fits everyone's choice, and you will always be greeted with a very warm and welcoming member of staff. The owners are a pure delight, and have worked really hard to make such a stunning second home to many locals in the area.
- Music events - quiz nights - book promotions - tarot readings - chess afternoons - mums and todlers coffee mornings - live performances - guest appearances - book signings -
Flirt is a nice place to catch up with friends but the drink and food quality has started to decline unfortunately.
This was the Bournemouth pride weekend, which was held at the Triangle, flirt over 18's event. Great acts on stage, great atmosphere. All the staff worked so hard to make this Annual event take place. Well done @
As a rainbow Cafe Flirt is the best Cafe in Bournemouth, their milkshakes are unrivaled, the vibe is familiar and funky and the staff are always friendly.
Basically, if you are a nice human, don't miss a visit
Open minded cafe bar in the Triangle with fantastic decor. I can always be sure of a warm welcome and friendly crowd here.
Love going here for a coffee. Either with friends or on my own.
Came with the girls and my godson, lovely friendly service, toys kept my godson occupied. Drinks were all amazing!
Always have a fantastic time in Flirt my favourite place to chill out. Staff are all friendly. Dog and family friendly.
A truly charmful place led by friendly staff. The menu is quite alright in terms of food and great with drinks. The prices aren't too bad either.
I visited this cafe as my friend was telling me how good your hot chocolate s are! We had the nicest milk shakes only down fall I had was the guy at the till wasn t very good when it came to selling, I had asked about the Jaffa cake milkshake you know the normal questions is it sutle or if it was very orangey to his reply we put Jaffa cakes init so taste like Jaffa cakes I asked if he would recommend it to which he said it s Jaffa cakes get it if you like it. Apart from that awkward encounter everything was lovely.
Great milkshakes, friendly staff, and good atmosphere
Food and drink good, but table and area needed tidying up and took ages to be cleared.
Quirky, interesting and a great menu to boot. FLIRT is alternative in just about every way, except, my review would read like so many others I've written. It's everything good and then some. You can lose hours staring at the interior, the drinks menu is expansive as is the food served here. You can not be in Bournemouth and not visit FLIRT
Great food and a great atmosphere. Don't forget to buy the car park ticket from here if you are parking in the car park over the road.
Nice hot chocolate that the kids loved, food was a bit lackluster but nice outside seating area
Shocked at how rude all the staff were. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE SCOTTISH... OR EVEN FROM BOURNEMOUTH AND HAVE SCOTTISH STERLING!... IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND YOU WILL BE LEFT AT THE BAR WHILST ALL 6 STAFF MEMBERS HOLD SAID LEGAL TENDER UP TO EVERY LIGHT IN THE PLACE...That is infront of all the other customers. I believe the term was, "i mean i know we CAN accept them but how can i tell it's real? WOW. Just... WOW
Great food and reasonably priced. Definitely enjoyed our visit
Hardly a place to meet singles. And if it was a cafe then it wouldn't have alcohol. But it has nice food there and a place to socialise. Just wish they put something good on tv though!
It's over priced there is no real vegan menu so can't really eat there
Nice little place and visited here with the one and only. We sat outside with a nice cuppa on a chilly winters night watching the Coca Cola lorry that was in town.
The Flirt cafe bar was very good and it is a good place to go and chat and have a drink and something to eat with friends.
Quirky venue and with upside down house right there makes it a great tourist attraction. If only the food was as impressive...what a let down.
Just brilliant! Thanks. OK, so maybe it needs a lick of paint but the staff and the vibe is SO brilliant.
Great food. Quirky setting although sad the Barbie dolls and Action men mobiles are no longer hanging from the ceiling
Quirky cafe severing a wide choice of food, milkshake, coffee and much more. Nice and casual and very welcoming! Highly recommend , best iced coffee yet!!
Its a quirky, lovely cafe that's quite expensive but coming from Oxford it wasn't too bad. Milkshakes are as good as Shakespeare's
Went for a bite to eat and a drink. Quick service but odd feel to the place. Would go again.
645pm not a clean table to be had. Furniture grubby, floor filthy, place looks like it's closing down. What has happened to Flirt? Standards have clearly gone to pot.
Great atmosphere and good quality food and drink. They used to offer discounted parking but this is no longer available.
We use Flirt for corporate breakfast based events, the team at Flirt and Stephen are always happy to deal with any issues and requests. His team are enthusiastic and helpful whilst also accommodating to our us and our guests. The food provided is delicious and Stephen is always willing to ensure any changes are met with a high standards of service.
We would highly recommend Flirt for events.
Only had a mango and apple smoothy but it tasted AMAZING
Nice and comfortable place, friendly staff and good food.
