I thought thick bread meant sliced bloomer or similar. Very disappointed when it was just medium white sliced. I found that it seemed quite noisy maybe the acoustics of the room but with the music and hearing all the mumbling conversations i left with a headache. Wouldnt come again. But the food was fresh a nicely served and the staff were lovely and helpful.

Flirt used to be a lovely place to visit. A strong vibrant atmosphere etc. Now though it's lots it's shiny edges and the place is real tatty and unkept . The toilets are especially bad. Doesn't look like theyve been cleaned properly in months. I was hoping it would prove to just be a shaky start for the new owners but alas it's getting worse. The triangle has lost another of its great venues .I won't be visiting again :(

Not like it used to be. Service took ages i know its all freshly done but never this long before and have been in many times. Sandwich was very dry. Asked for ham and cheese but contained nearly an inch of salad although came with a side salad. Sadly lacking in cheese. When i took it back was told we have a recipe we work to should always be the same, sorry. I couldnt eat it and as a diabetic on insulin not good.

Nice place for a lunch or to grab some milkshakes which by the way it's the best mikshake in Bournemouth. There is also a huge place outside with seats. This place is very trendy and decorated with loads of different things you can't imagine haha.

My first time at Flirt Cafe Bar

My first time at Flirt Cafe Bar
I love it, I had a beer, double G&T, a Ceaser Salad wrap and coffee. All perfect, sat outside in the glorious sunshine and the staff are very happy and friendly
I will be back tomorrow.

It's okay, quirky which I like. However, I suffer with allergies and I asked a member of staff for an allergens menu (she wasn't busy), she told me to ask at the till. There were 5 people waiting in line before me, so I had to wait 15 mins for them to all be served, just so I could ask for a menu. The people I went with were up and ready to order by the time I was back. This meant I ate well after them. The whole time the member of staff I asked was walking around, even to behind the till. I tried to ask her again but couldn't get her attention. Not really a positive experience to be honest. Probably wouldn't visit again.

Great, authentic, inexpensive, home-cooked food. Lots of options for vegans and vegetarians. Also, you can bring your dog along. The ambiance is great and they are located right in the heart of the town. Highly recommend a visit.

Sadly Flirt needs updating, the once quirky furniture and style is deteriorating and dirty. The little gem smells of deep fried food. The cakes on display looked totally unappetizing. So bad i went to Tesco to buy a biscuit to go with my tea. The menu is the same but the food doesn't look the same quality. Such a shame but it needs a desperate imput of cash to bring the cafe up to an acceptable standard. Have been a regular customer but so many new cafes popping up in Town could lead to people looking elsewhere.

Superb, quirky cafe - possibly the best in Bournemouth. Friendly staff, great food and drink, comfortable sofas and lots of crazy touches that make meeting here lots of fun. Highly recommended, especially their milkshakes and "OMG hot chocolates"!

Flirt is one in a million with a character all of its own which puts a smile on your face as soon as you walk through the door with its funky interior . The hot chocolate menu alone keep me going back for more :-)

This place used to be one of the most vibrant in Bournemouth. Today I visited again and was shocked to see the state of it. The furniture is falling apart, the decor has completely aged, the food is overpriced and the service is lacklustre. It s such a shame to see somewhere that used to be so wonderful turn into something so disappointing.

I love all the quirks of this place. It feels so homey, casual, and informal. There was a ukulele live performance that night but I couldn t stay. Maybe next time. I really like chatty staff who are just chill as they give you really awesome service. Some are more stressed than others but still friendly. It s surprisingly a big space with lots of people.

I've always loved Flirt, it's a great cafe that is a bit quirky and different. The menu has a wide selection of drinks and I always struggle to decide which hot chocolate or milkshake I'm going to get. Food has never disappointed, it's cafe food but still tastes pretty good and they offer an evening menu which does some really good mac and cheese.

Pete and Rob really know how to run a cafe, missed them when they closed their last business many years ago to start up a new business, and was so happy when they decided to reopen a new cafe here.

Great quality food, relaxed environment, friendly staff, and if you can get into one of the special evening events such as quiz night etc they are great (so over subscribed it can be tough getting in)
