Nice, new modern hotel. Spa facilities decent, but not very extensive.
Nice, new modern hotel. Spa facilities decent, but not very extensive.
I hope not to visit again
The hotel from the outside suggests that it is very luxurious, but only on the outside
The rooms are very poor and uncomfortable
The bathroom door in front of the bed does not give comfort and opaque
The room is very poor
The service with reception is very great, but inside the rooms are very poor
I hope I will not visit again
A strongly scented room. Another room requested and received, but again a strong sweat odor. Unfortunately. Well eaten.
Nothing wrong with this hotelleke ..... good breakfast and nice staff.
My parents sent here thinking that they had arranged everything well warm reception with coffee and cake hotel and wellness when I spoke to my parents, the warm reception had only become a cup of coffee and they were allowed to book the wellness when I called about this, the gentleman said after 3x a half hour on hold that they could pick up the pastry and that the wellness was 10 euros per person but when I had transferred 20 euros and reserved, my parents were allowed to pay 40 euros while I clearly asked 4x with the two of them 20 euros so 10 per person yes madam that's right and drove two hours before that because there was never wellness with you again
Enjoyed our stay very much through holiday auctions. The room was spacious and tidy. Only the floor in the bathroom could use a makeover. The breakfast was tasty and extensive. There are lots of parking spaces at the hotel and that is a big plus. Maybe a bottle of water in the room would not be wrong. Coffee and tea are available.
Nice rooms. perfect service. Friendly staff .top hotel.
Inexperienced staff too young. Cast amateurist and unsafe. Wine in drinking glass. Expensive
Had a wonderful massage! Nice and quiet during the day, but unfortunately in the evening a group that made a lot of noise, also in the silence sauna.
No A/C. Small rooms. Dated carpet and chairs. The lobby looks great, the rooms are not. In no way is this a 4 star hotel.
Very nice staff and wonderful rooms. Everything was clean and an excellent breakfast.
Friendly received, room was okay but the breakfast was certainly not worth the money. Eggs were cold and the fried eggs came from a freezer and warmed up in a stiemer. Nothing was replenished either. See pictures. We were expecting more of a breakfast
Room poorly cleaned. Instead of recovery we got 2 vouchers. Staff very friendly and enthusiastic. Food was fine!
Not a bad hotel. Little old-fashioned. Breakfast was good. Beds are great.
Had a lot of noise nuisance from a renovation, not warned about it. No confusion in the bathroom and the water turns cold and warm alternately.
Nice bath, but cold bathroom. Not enough service in the coffee corner and the large plate with the special of the day was sold out: ((
The neighbors of the hotel (Handball Club Internos) had a party on June 23 and June 24, complete with loud thumping music and lots of shouting. So quietly reading a magazine or something like that in the garden of the wellness was not possible. The party went on until well after midnight, complained at the reception and they were going to say something about it. Only after 1 o'clock in the morning did the music get a bit quieter, so it was almost impossible to fall asleep with the window closed. But due to the intoxicating warmth in the room (there was no air conditioning, only a half broken fan) and the bad pillows still almost unable to sleep. The service for which we have paid the hotel (namely offering a good night's sleep) is therefore not provided at all. So Fletcher Hotel Trivium, do not abandon your guests from now on and call the police if your guests' night's sleep is disturbed! And Handball Club Internos, I hope your clubhouse burns down ...
Very comfortable room with all the trimmings only no mini bar :-( Wellness is modest but very neat. 2 hours was the max for us
We were kindly received, we even got a larger room than we booked. Had a nice meal in the restaurant, enjoyed the large bathtub, the breakfast buffet was also very tasty (and plenty of choice). One of the lights next to the bed was broken, but it was replaced immediately. Thanks!
Friendly people but weak service. No remote control for TV in the room, replacement does not work. No alternative available ??? To reach that conclusion it must take 2 days
Excellent wellness center, thank you.
The hotel looks nice BUT !!!
Check-in is at 3 pm.
3.45 pm I am still waiting in the lobby with 2 children because the rooms have not been cleaned yet.
I was never offered a drink for the inconvenience.
And that calls itself 4 stars
Beautiful interior. Friendly staff. Not an optimal location to do things in the city, because it is not within walking distance. Car is always possible, only parking costs are 2.40 / h until 21.00 Sun 18.00
Weekend June 23-24, stayed 2 nights in Fletcher hotel in Etten Leur.
Reception extremely friendly. We were able to store our bikes in a lockable bike shed.
Breakfast well cared for.
Room was also fine and clean. This was not the case with the bathroom. Extraction was very dirty, it had never been cleaned before. The sink drain was also full of hair and other undefined junk.
Dinner in itself was good, but when asked for an ordinary glass of water the answer comes that only a bottle of water can be ordered.
Is this now the Dutch stinginess to only provide expensive paid water. In many countries, such as Scandinavia, Italy and Australia, it is simply put on the table as standard, without your asking.
The same applies to the cutback on cleaning cloth with which the table is "cleaned". These are used throughout the day and occasionally you just smell it.
Why not wet wipes. This is quite normal in Asian countries. Maybe a tip for you.
Dirty, bathroom stains everywhere (not mopped), hair in bed, sheets with stains, generally I would rather not touch anything here and have my shoes on. Quite quiet and slept well.
The check in was fine. A sweet smiling lady behind the desk who gave us good information about what time breakfast starts and what time we have to check out, etc. We had booked a luxury room and of course you really expect it to be top notch for the money. So we arrived in the room, nicely large and nicely decorated. It was only very cold in the room while the windows were closed. I thought well that will heat up in a minute, maybe they just closed the windows before we arrived to vent the room. That is possible ... well an hour later it was still not colder like that. I then called the reception that it is not getting warmer in the room while the heating was at its highest. She came to have a look and had to reset the resume. We did not succeed up to 2x and we got a small fan heater. Good solution but it was still really cold.
When we entered the hotel room we also noticed a lot of stains and a thick layer of dust everywhere. I took all the dust myself because I get sick very quickly if there is a lot of dust. Look for a bit of dust in one place okay ... that may have been forgotten that is human but everywhere that if you run your finger over it it is gray to black is not correct kl there were also stains that I did not want to know what it was. It could easily be yogurt or paint, but it could also be something else very quickly I had indicated this to the reception employee and she asked beforehand if it could not be because of ourselves, where I already thought of that, isn't it?
Then she said I will clean it and said she will pass it on to housekeeping.
I thought there were bizarrely few outlets.
So one of them already occupied by the fan heater. Oh and what might be useful for the jacuzzi is a small manual it was the second time we had a hotel with a jacuzzi. This one was different and we got either not full or not empty at first.
Not all negative, I thought the TV cabinet was really great. You could turn the TV to the table or to the bed which was really nice.
Hotel room (junior suite) was good, nice and spacious. Only a set of too few towels due to extra bed.
Food in the brasserie was poor. Mac Donalds is just around the corner, we should have gone there better. The Fletcher Old Hamburgers were dry, fried and tasteless. The fries were also bland. So returned. Very thoughtfully received a drink in return for this. However, it was a waste of our money.
Staff were very nice, hotel looked nice.
Only the bath could be a bit cleaner, the bed and the TV were far from each other. and a small TV.
Morning breakfast: bread was very dry (everything)
Pass brunch varied good quality spaciously furnished
Nice room where presentation was given, nice reception with coffee and tea, good after-dinner drink
Room was only half clean especially the bathroom.
Bumps everywhere.
And way too warm, which makes it unpleasant to be in your room.
We stayed for 1 night, decent accommodation, but definitely not a 4* hotel, there were not even toiletries, proper towels or extra coffee in the room, furniture was outdated, restaurant has long waiting times, doesn't serve tap water! even when you order a meal, the main highlight is the wellness, but make sure you bring slippers and bathrobe, otherwise they will charge you for it & make you buy plastic flip flops for 7,5 euros :)
Large hotel, adequate facilities and very clean. The staff is also friendly. Full breakfast buffet
Lovely hotel, spacious room, wonderful bath and a wonderful wellness ...
Key points: Not suitable for a weekend break. Rude personnel, only twin beds in comfort rooms (not suitable for couples), pictures are from a junior suite (lol)
Location: 2/5 - on the highway, short bike ride to center, industrial surroundings, not suitable for a spa weekendje
Reception: 0/5 - Rude employees, speaking about me in Dutch in front of me whereas I speak Dutch
Hallways: 0/5 - smell like smoke and they tried to cover it up with mint air freshener
Room: 1/5 - dark and depressing, very old decors, bathroom tiles are not right for a hotel, they always look dirty, even after being cleaned
Cleaning Ladies: 5/5 VERY kind and helpful, warm greetings and exceptional service (especially the one that does not speak Dutch)
Spa: 3/5 - heavy wear and tear on the saunas, but an ok place to relax. Whirlpool only works on one half. And the pictures are overselling the spa area
Lovely hotel, relax delicious food especially the mix grill
Had an okay stay through Social deal promotion. I am a regular sleeper myself, only the sewerage system is very audible when the toilet is flushed from the rooms above. Cleaning can and can certainly be improved. Rooms, carpet and furniture are worn and in need of renovation. You need extra magnifying glass for the TV. Really hangs far from the bed. There was also a musty smell, fortunately the window could be opened.
May not be called a four star hotel anymore. Location is outside the center, but is centrally located along roads. So suitable as a conference center with sleeping facilities without luxury.
Incidentally, I can not judge the wellness facilities, during our visit it was quite deserted.
Furthermore, a friendly welcome by staff, also on departure. Complaints about cleaning are taken seriously. Whether it improves is up to the following guests.
Wanted to use the wellness, sauna, swimming pool you have to pay extra for this, even as a hotel guest. And it is not clearly stated that you must be naked. Only morning from 09:00 to 11:00 with swimwear. While you have to check out at 11:00 and we only stayed 1 night. Furthermore, the room has no air conditioning while it is very hot now. Just a fan that is completely covered in dust. Hotel room is also old fashioned and not clean properly. For example, lay dust low on the remote control and also a large spider web in the corner of the ceiling. Old red carpet that does not look clean. Room also smelled musty. Fridge works, but very little, we first doubted whether it worked at all. Sink is also due for replacement. I expected more from a 4 star hotel and also for the price. For me a 2 star hotel. Did get a bath in the bathroom which is a good size. Ultimately did not use the wellness. I would never return here.
Nice modern Hotel, just good breakfast, very tasty food in the restaurant. Nice sized rooms. The only downside was that the bar was closed at 11 p.m.
Delicious the wellness part rooms could be cleaned a little better
Was super cozy with my girlfriend, good hotel all friendly and of course delicious food
The hotel very well on the outside but inside the thing changes. Countless unforgivable defects today. Carpet in the rooms, poor lighting and low quality, a little tenebre. Soft beds of poor quality, sad bathroom like the room there is no shampoo or soap and the toilet is dirty and worn and also smells like pipe. Ugly and cheap furniture.
We found the two-night stay in November 2018 downright bad. Two indifferent receptionists stood on the door step. Not worth a look and kept typing stiffly. During the check-in it was claimed that we had not paid. After handing over all the documents, we were able to demonstrate this. This trip came as a surprise to me, but I was now aware of the prices. When paying for the drink in the bar, it turned out that we should have been asked for a credit card guarantee during check-in. Now we couldn't book anything on our room number.
The room had two single beds. Not very nice for two romantic nights. The room had no coffee cups, no bathrobes and / or extra towels. We slept across from the elevator, which kept us awake the first night.
There is nothing to be seen in the surrounding area, so by car to the center of Etten-Leur for dinner.
The wellness is fine. Neat and small-scale, exactly what we wanted. The staff on the work floor are nice and helpful. We do not include the ladies at the reception. Also when leaving the wellness, we had to pay an outstanding amount again, but we had not eaten / purchased anything. It turned out to be a name change.
To make matters worse, I turned out to have left my house keys in the safe. These could ... you guessed it, be sent for an additional fee. We'll skip Fletcher Hotels for our upcoming trip in December.
Small TV .. bit musty. And eating in the room in the corona time is not recommended
Great wellness. Too bad there was no garden, just a tiled outside place.
Nice and well-kept hotel and wellness. Friendly staff.
High wine done through the action of AH. Not really worth the effort. It appears that they have everything the same at all Fletcher locations. The menu cards are also the same throughout the country. So you don't have to go to another Fletcher restaurant. Clearly a missed opportunity.
The hotel room is spacious, but the bathroom floor had many stains. There was also a dirty stain on one of the towels. In addition, the coffee machine was very dirty inside. We informed the reception about this. This would then be cleaned. The next morning it was a little cleaner, but still dirty. The food was fine, but the dining room is outdated.
The room is neat and clean. Beds are good. The bathroom is not what you expect in a 4 star hotel. Too little space for tiolet items such as a shelf under the mirror. Badly placed walk-in wall causing water to want to go everywhere except the drain wells. As a result, many moisture spots in the floor which does not appear clean. The sliding door makes a lot of noise when opened. TV can be a bit bigger. Fridge not available. No air conditioning.
The breakfast is excellent, there is a lot of choice and everything is fresh.
In short, nice for a night, but for 4 stars there is still some profit to be made.
The food was not so smashing the bone steak was less like medium rare
We had booked a beautiful and luxurious room. If you spend a little extra you will also get a nice room, equipped with every luxury.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended
Dramatic ... last weekend stayed 1 night but electricity outage all night. Annoying, but can happen ... but how it is dealt with ... outrageous.
No security, no one can be reached, an emergency number is not answered and guests (including someone who could not go to sleep because of an apnea device) simply have to wait all night without feedback. Manager would call: did not happen.
Imperfections can happen; but solve it neatly. Thick failure.
nice reception staff. for the rest, nothing much to say
This is not a 4 stars hotel, just the building looks fancy from outside that s sit. Plus you are forced to be naked in the swimming pool and other spa facilities which is stupid and wired. We don t recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel, Only the waitresses did not feel like serving people.
Looks good. food is good not to be noticed. what does need a little TLC is the gym separate which did not work well. due to poor maintenance due to worn cables
Hotel is nothing wrong with that, shame about the location.
Super in 1 word.
Neat friendly service where nothing was too much especially the ladies in restaurant.
No air conditioning in the rooms. Not good please for summers. Services is not very good and the food is super expensive for the amount and quality. We stay for 20 days we wanted to switch hotel but the don't do refunds. This was a work trip and my company trie to reason with them because the refrigerator was broken and they dirint help, and they were very rude to our recepcionest. I won't recomend this hotel to no body and my company is not using there services ever aging.
Great place. Good location, great facilities, staff is really friendly.
Not recommended. Expensive, bad food, and outdated, dirty rooms
TL;DR - Hotel staff at bar and at least part of reception staff really does not seem to want to be there and blame others for their incompetence. The room was nice though, even though there was a faint aroma of unwashed man, as was housekeeping and the restaurant staff. Don t come for the food.
Upon arriving we were asked to pay for the remaining costs upfront. The receptionist gave us a wrong amount. While looking into it, she said we got off lucky because her colleague sent us a confirmation with a wrong amount in it. That seemed somewhat unprofessional, to throw a colleague under the bus like that. It turned out to be a recurring theme for the hotel staff.
We proceeded to the restaurant, because dinner was included in our arrangement. We all had steaks, of which 2 were good and one severely undercooked (not by request). We sent it back after trying for quite some time to get the wait staff s attention; our waitress never came back to us so we asked the waiter tending to drinks behind the bar. I proceeded to wait for a very long time and my new steak came out well after the rest of the group had finished theirs. Meanwhile there was no apologies for the inconvenience or anything of the kind from the staff. On the contrary: our waitress blamed the waiter for the delay. Like I said, recurring theme. We did get complimentary drinks however. After stating that a gesture of that kind would seem fair. Finally, our desserts came out. We had to pay a surplus for these. Until now we re not sure why, as it was definitely not freshly made. We asked for the bill, as one does. Except we had to ask twice. She said she d be right back with our bill, but we proceeded to wait for a long time yet again. Given that we had somewhere to be and were already running late, I walked up to the bar to pay there. Turns out, they were dealing with another customer who was given a wrong bill. When we finally got ours, it was for the wrong table. When stating this, the waitress snapped that she was busy and couldn t do everything at once. Just a suggestion: finish one task before starting the next (other customer with wrong bill). The waiter apologized for the flow of events that evening though, so kudos to him.
The next morning after breakfast all of our keycards had magically stopped working. We went to reception to get them reactivated, where we gave our room number. Nothing was crosschecked with names so it s really easy to get random keys, apparently. We went back up and our cards still didn t work. Back to reception we go. The receptionist said we must ve given her the wrong room number. All 3 of us. Simultaneously. That s the third time someone here refuses to take responsibility.
Second dinner. This was served in the actual restaurant. Clearly, the better staff gets to work here. The waitress was fast, attentive and came to check on us. The risotto was undercooked, but was promptly taken back to the kitchen without first igniting a discussion. The plate came back with the risotto scraped off, with the promise a new batch would be delivered. The new batch was not a truffle risotto, which was on the menu. At this point all we could do was sigh. They finally came back with a new plate (after arguing that they d only do that if we promised not to send it back) and then told us If you ever go to Italy you ll know this is how risotto is made . We ve been to Italy on multiple occasions, one of us just came back last week. And oh, one of us *is* Italian.
On the upside: housekeeping was great and attentive and the room was spacious.
We came here for a festival in the vicinity and wanted to stay at a hotel rather than the camping grounds. Not saying this is a bad hotel, but we ll take our chances sleeping in the dirt next year.
A very nice location with a warm atmosphere. The room looked good, clean bathroom and I enjoyed the breakfast immensely. Dinner also tasted great. The staff is very friendly and helpful
