Food wasn't very impressive, the atmosphere was decent. Unexpected paid parking. Best part was my bar waitress Tia.

Better options in Alief. Restaurant adds 15% tip to tab which you won't see unless you asked for the itemized receipt, they only hand you the credit card rcpt with a blank tip line.

I never even made it inside of the restaurant. They charge $10-$15 just to park your own vehicle. These types of establishments need to reevaluate charging customers to park their own vehicle. It's really just the principle behind it. Paying for valet should be an option. Self-parking shouldn't. While getting money from ATM, we were able to read other reviews and people were complaining about the food not being all that good. I won't support until they get things together.

I happened to find this place going somewhere else I had the HALF Baked daiquiri along with the shrimp Po boy with blackened shrimp and it was really good. Music was good not loud and overbearing and the place wasn t crowded which I love.

WHY is the valet parking $15?! Especially since they don t even pull your car up for you (we tipped $5 on top of the 15. But of course they didn t remember when we were leaving and just handed ya the keys.) Really good food though. Ordered the cheese sticks catfish with mac and cheese and wings. Very surprised by how good everything was. Bartender was nice. Drinks were good price for happy hour. They need to rethink that parking though.. we were there for Maybe 45 min just to eat and $15 for parking is not ok especially before 8pm

Nice atmosphere and the shrimp and grits were great. Not a fan of these "beignets". I don't know what these were but they were not beignets. Dry and crunchy. Waitstaff was nice and helpful which made things a little better.

If I had to describe my last experience at Flava in one word it would be DISGUSTING !! I ve been twice before and ordered the gumbo (favorite thing to get, there. It never fails!! ) . This time they were out of Gumbo, so I kindly chose the etoufee instead and My bf got wings. His fries were burnt, and the wings were over cooked. The etoufee was not to my liking. I honestly don t know if I will be back after this experience but can t imagine spending 250$ like the other review said to get that grade of food. I would be livid !!! Please improve .

Use to be one of my favorite places until sunday. Our waitress was terrible! I ordered shrimp and grits and it took over an hour for my food so i just canceled the order. All the orders at the table were messed up and they changed the food menu and took my favorite thing off. Frustrated the hell out of me that day. I won't be back for a while

Nice kickback spot to hangout with your folks. The shimp n grits were good.

Don't encourage anybody to waste their time here I only reason why I came is because I saw their juicy crabs on insta it looked hot and fresh however when we arrived it was the complete opposite the crab looked and cracked like it was dropped in hot water yesterday. When I finally put my hands on it it wasn't even hot immediately I sent the plate back. Our waitress was cool. I'll stick to my normal Houston crab spots.

I started with the chicken and sausage gumbo and then I order the $35 Super Platter with Snow Crabs, 2 pounds of Crawfish with corn and potatoes..just a AMAZING experience and food . I will be BACK

I'm a fan! The food is great, but the service was amazing. When you go - be sure to ask for Jessica M. I like the shrimp & crab, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Horrible!! U have to pay to park to go eat.. the sausage taste like a rubber band but the sauce was good.

When you have to ask for EVERYTHING. The staff was nice but no where near attentive. Had to ask for napkins, gloves, and claw cutters/crackers for crab legs. The "Bet That" drink was very weak, tasted like a watered down liquor.

Ordered a platter and oxtails Didn t like the food at all and drinks were the same..

In gonna give this place 2 stars so where to start ; i was charged 20 to park it was soo small+parking) ... My sister was charged 20 the valet her car . Why I wasn't given the same service idk. Ok so boom restroom is disgusting. Like before you hit the door you smell it sent us and a few others gagging. The drinks I ordered a tequila sunrise and I'm not much a drinker but literally the drink barely had alcohol . And they fight. .. the turned the music off for 20min to difuse it. No one had a mask on only the 2 bouncers at the door

If you don t care about your health and don t take Covid-19 seriously, this is the place to stop by.

A GUY HAD A GUN trying to intimidate costumers leaving for bad service.
The dj also made a couple move tables they were dining for his equipment.
This place isn t suitable for families I suggest you go elsewhere

Flava should be called Salt! I really don't have anything good to say. I visited last Sat. at 8pm. We waited an hour and 10 mins for some salty lukewarm Crawfish. We ordered 2 of the 3/$20 specials with Corn, Potatoes, and Sausage. I dont More

This was a nice chill spot. I dont think the menu needs to be as lengthy as it is. The seafood platters shine and are well priced but the jerk chicken was a no go. Definitely not worth the price especially since the place was out of plantains which is actually included but no comp on the price or real worthy substitutions. The wait staff was extremely nice and the service and food was pretty quick for the crowd that was there.

I'd go back for the seafood alone. Fried fish was crispy and well seasoned. Shrimp and crab were equally good.
