I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, It was so central, staff were incredibly nice and helpful, the hotel was spotless and the food was divine. We stayed for a hen party of 35 and the service that was provided was just amazing.

I liked this place best bathroom in all of Ireland, for me. They had this faucet where the hot and cold water were combined into a single stream, controlled by a single lever. Amazing saw nothing like it at any of the other hotels we stayed at in Ireland. Rest of the room was okay, had a view of a local athletic field, where some middle schoolers were learning to play rugby. Not disruptive or anything, just some local color, and practice was over by 8ish. There is what looks like a popular restaurant / bar onsite, but we didn t eat there.

We stayed for one night in room 206 which was opposite a wall with climber plants on it and we could hear loads of birds so we had a look out the window only to see approximately 100 thrush birds chilling out, we are both massive animal lovers so we loved this we popped our heads out to look at them a few times in the night because they sounded so amazing and beautiful to watch on one occasion we got lucky enough to see a hedgehog having a wonder around under the birds he was so cute naturally we named him Trevor he was a cool dude. We went for dinner in the restaurant the food was 5 stars and the servers where as well they where so friendly and chatty with great service. We also got to watch the live football during dinner which was so handy. The reception staff were very friendly and fast. The rooms could do with a small bit of updating but I'm very fussy so don't pay to much attention to me on that. There was a your lad working the bar called John had great craic with him. The price was great for what we got and I would highly recommend this hotel to stay or even to go in to for food or a drink.

Got the Chicken Roast Dinner from Flannery s Hotel Call and Collect, by far one of the best dinners we have had!! Will definitely be recommending and returning for another one also would recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding for desert, perfect sweet treat for after the dinner

Stayed here as a kid with my family and so glad to see it's still thriving. Such a wonderful hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and so tastefully decorated. I thought I'd take a step back in time but it's far from what I remember it. All being said, still a great friendly service, staff were pleasant at all times and the breakfast was really enjoyable. Will stay longer next time.

Room super clean. Loved the friendliness of the receptionist, I arrived at 11am, check in was at 2pm and she immediately made my room available to me. Bathroom small and relatively old, but the room is fine. It has a good car park. You can not walk to the city center, but it is well located for those who rented a car because it is on the side of the road that goes to Dublin or to Cliffs Moher.

It was a lovely hotel and within walking distance from town centre but we got the bus directly outside it for 2.50. The food was a reasonable price and a good variety. Staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel supplied a map of Galway and could arrange tours for you as in full day and half day ones. If driving it is easy to drive to these places yourself. The hotel is in a good main road situation but you hear nothing off the road. I would use it again.

The breakfast was absolutely insufficient. At noon you could eat well here. The dinner at Frankys was really fantastic (we ended up with a lot of dishes). Unfortunately, the waiters, with one exception, completely overwhelmed and very slow.
On the whole it was ok. If you do not have high expectations, you can stay here well.

the structure is beautiful, clean and complete in services ... young but competent and very courteous staff
defects: a dangerous tub with very complicated hot / cold water supply .... but don't they know that there are shower cabins, simple mixers and water supply with movable systems ???

Well I ll start by saying the service is good with lots of car park space.

Hotel is very tired and has a stale odour.
The bed is awful, with pillows and a duvet which are pathetically thin and bloody uncomfortable.

The decor is questionable at best with a mirror in front and behind the bed giving a weird sensation when glancing when trying to watch the very very small tv.

The shower tray is for a small child, with no pressure and cold. I ve had better showers in a boat.

The rooms are paper thin and can hear everything and everyone in the corridor let alone adjacent and to finish the Wi-fi isn t worth the connectivity.

All in all makes a travel lodge look great.

Excellent hotel! There is a small rugby field behind the hotel, so you might be able to see an amateur, exhibition match in the afternoon. Quiet building, lovely amenities, and only a mile from downtown if you don t mind the walk or taxi.

Room weren't as advertised, shower didn't work properly and hand rail was broken even though there's a warning there to use it, house keeping didn't clean toilet properly or leave extra paper, restaurant closed at 9 and if you wanted bar food after 9 you had to eat in a separate area, bar staff were very nice

Ok, it s October but compared to the prices of local competitors this really is a fantastic hotel and is genuine value for money luxury.
Just look how huge the bed is! Room decor superb, newly tiles showers and some lovely touches, check out the coffee machine in the room, plus sensible plug sockets next to both sides of the bed for essential charging!! The WiFi is superb as well, free parking is hard to find in Galway, so yes I m giving this hotel a huge 10 out of 10.
But it was the staff that that really earned my respect.
Firstly the check in girl was sweet and charming, at the same time as being super fast and efficient. I didn t remember her name badge.
But in the bar restaurant I was looked after by Samuel, Keelan and Lee who gave just the perfect example of teamwork and quality service. Between the three of them they made me feel like a king as the food came out quickly and every request I made dealt with a smile and quickly.
As I visit Ireland often and call on clients this hotel is going on my google maps favourites and is saved destination.

Tried to pay for dinner, they said someone else paid. Then they changed their mind and followed me around with the bill the following evening. I had to pay for the whole party as everyone else had gone

Excellent staff. Very good food, in fact no need to travel out. Range and quality of the dinner was great. Excellent steak sandwich, good steak, my wife had the salmon, again very good. My son had the extraordinary tasty Thai chicken curry, excellent dish. The bar is typically Irish, good drink, craic., music. Good quality for the price, went there with my family who are particular, but every one had a good time.
4 stars but really for food, excellent staff, fantastic breakfast, and clean rooms. It should be 5 stars for a 3 star hotel.

We just stayed at Flannery s Hotel for 4 nights, exceeded all our expectations, the food and staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. We only intended having dinner here one night but ended up having dinner here every night, it was so good. It is very central to everywhere. We would highly recommend it and will definitely return here. A very special thanks to everyone here at the Hotel.

Very dissapointing stay.

Very dissapointing stay.
I recently stayed with two friends one of whom has Celiac disease. The young staff had zero knowledge on this autoimmune disorder. When asked if items on the menu were suitable both at our meal and breakfast the following morning staff left and never returned, it took a number of times to try and get someones attention, staff had no interest in being there and just stood around chatting.
In this day and age it is unacceptable for any establishment that sells food to not have an awareness and know what is in the food they are serving to those who have Celiac Disease or have a Gluten Intolerance.
In regards to the food itself my friends Gluten free bread came out froozen and poached egg hard. Chicken curry at meal was luke warm, service very bad. Very dissapointed and we will not be returning.
