Horrible experience... be careful who you deal with because they change they mislead you.. have every detail on contract.

Bad food with bad management.. Never come back here..

Wedding during covid is tough so I attended 2 events and the first one was ok but they really turned things around for the second event when the groom himself spoke to the manager. The manager seems receptive and for anyone s important day, they should not have to compromise so definitely voice your likes and dislikes so you get what you want on your special day. Specify the timing of food, the decor, number of servers and drinks etc so nothing is left as part of a guessing game.

We had our first anniversary/ reception event at the banquet hall. It was beautiful. Gave a nice look to our decor. The staffs were friendly.
Mr. Shahin ( the manager ) was very helpful and kind. The foods were great. We had an amazing experience!!

I had party in August it was one of the best party . All staff was so friendly and helpful. I got much more then wat I ask.

Attended a party there recently. Food was just Ok. The hall was decorated well. Worst beer collection ever, open bar sucked. The worst thing were the bathrooms. Men's bathroom was dirty with paper all over the floor and the toilet was overflowing causing a flood. And there was no one attending to it. Never going there again.

Possibly one of the worst party halls I have ever booked. The food was mediocre and was definitely not worth the money I paid. On top of that, the waiter staff didn t even know what they were doing! Tables were full of dirty plates and empty drink glasses and all the waiters did were look around and act like they were working. Conditions preparing some of the food was unsanitary as well. No gloves were used and when asked if the staff could use gloves, they either gave me a smirk or walked away. But wait, the best part happened near the end of the party. One of the bartenders was seen physically touching a little girl to which an entire brawl broke out. The owner in defense said the bartender had a mental problem which in my eyes does not justify touching little girls whatsoever. Everything about this place is a joke and very unprofessional. If you want to book for a wedding or any other sort of party, look everywhere else besides here.

3 stars for the big, spacious, elegant, modern hall.
4 stars for the delicious food with lots of variety in choosing appetizer, entree, and deserts.
5 stars for Shaheen being so helpful and understanding through the entire planning of our 10th event we hosted here. Thanks Shaheen!

Valet parking driver locked my car and left key inside. Horrible experience.

This is a place I'll invite and introduce to all my friends and family to keep any functions I love the the staff friendly and warm, being in the bouquet I fell like not to leave the lights the setting it's just amazing from I walk through the door *****

Amazing experience. The hora d'ouevres were fresh and passed around for nearly two hours. Main entre es were tasty beautiful presentation

Unprofessional and did not meet my expectations as I thought.... very disrespectful and did not treat my family well. Do not book here!

It is one the best restaurant in queens regarding the service and food I love it anytime

had a party there, worst experience ever. Open Bar had no liquor, no ice drinks were warm. No one picking up plates. Restrooms filthy and in poor shape. Manager a complete bully, who will promise you the world to get the business and on day of the event not even turn on the air conditioning. All guests lined up outside because of no air conditioning inside.

Only positive was the wait staff- they wanted to do a good job and were working hard but not enough of them to handle a 200 ppl event.
Do yourself a favor and stay away - this place will cause your event to be an epic fail.

The valet parking was very convenient, considering that the surrounding area was mainly warehouses, and it was free (Common sense is that you have to tip the valet parkers).The venue was very spacious, and was well designed. However, I am giving only 4 stars due to lack of speedy service on behalf of the catering team. We arrived at 7 P.M, and had to wait 1 hour for 1 very small appetizer the size of a lollipop! Furthermore, the actual buffet was opened at 11, so we had to wait 4 hours for food. For the most part, the quality of the food was good, with a few exceptions. The bathrooms were nice, with the exception of a broken stall, and a tricky faucet.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, but there is certainly room for improvement.

Manager was so rude with the customer when I visited this place for the party last January,.he was yelling not to waste foods ,drinks.and not to mess around,

I would like to share my first time experience at Five star banquet , awesome staff and wonderful experience with the owner(Arun).comparatively the party hall is big great decoration work is great and service is respectful.Food tastes authentic and fresh.good luck and enjoy.. similar experience shared by my guests and liked the place very well.

A very nice place for arranging parties. I have attended 2 different wedding parties here. They have lots of spaces, staffs were very nice, polite and helpful. Bathrooms are clean. Decorations and arrangements are really good.

nicely renovated, affordable, friendly employees are the pros including the rooftop parking is a big plus for this place.

Their renovations were fantastic, was satisfied with the food and service for their hall. My extended family has had many events at this location, never disappointed so far.

I admire this spot! They have excellent meals, they have a rich menu, The chief cook in that spot is a real authority in the kitchen, I love very much tasting all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the guests is helpful. I often eat in this place and I not even once was discontended. I recommend this place.

Really amazing time in banquet. Specifically thanks to Shaheen brother. He really did good service for us.

When booking, we were helped by Shaheen who did an excellent job of explaining what will be given to us as well as accommodating us to make sure our event goes well. The day of my reception, Arun was facilitating the event and his hospitality was beyond amazing. He made sure that our guests were accommodated and also made sure that my husband and I were comfortable throughout the whole event! The food was really good and the staff was very friendly. The venue itself looks modern and classy; it also is spacious. Definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to host their wedding or any large event!

We are not satisfied with event management and place and do not recommend. Here we go why:
- Managers delayed our event by having conflict with other event. We were supposed to start at 7 but place was not ready for our event. This delayed entire series of our events and they did not even attempt to make it right.

- Floor managers were not available for us, we struggled to find manager on floor.

- Guest complained that even after asking to refill the appetizer they just ignored it.

- Managers said while signing contract, white glove top chef will take out the appetizer and drinks to every table but my guest were saying they served for one table with one item and went back. Horrible.

-- there was no sign for parking, majority of guest said they had to drive around almost one hr to find parking. This is amazing they do not have clear directions for guests to

-do not fall for the managers words while signing contract. They will say they can do anything but after you sign
Contract, they will say I never said it.

-- I got many more but be very careful before committing to this place for ur big event...

Where should I start!! By far the best Indian food in the city... I love this place.. the owner me Bender is awesome... he comes personally and says hello ... stop by it's definitely worth it..

Attended a wedding reception last Sunday and we loved every bit of the program. The Banquet Hall was neat and clean with great food. Also managed by very careful management and staff.

The place doesn't look great from the outside but is very nice inside. Just a little small for a venue.

You did a wonderful job for us and I am very grateful for the expert input you provided in advance of the big day. We had a wonderful day and that is in no small part to your work. Five Star Banquet Hall is a terrific venue and had a real wow factor for our guests. In addition to that the service, food, lighting and indeed everything was from the very top drawer. Table layout is very poor, congested, they could do better floor plan.

Our 3rd party here last month. Everyone loved their food and the decorations! Staff is friendly and well groomed!

Five Star delivers top notch quality and service. The staff at Five Star was very accommodating and made the whole process from the booking of the event to our special nigh---Seamless and Enjoyable. The food served was also some of the best homemade style Indian food I've had. I was thoroughly impressed to say the least.

Today at Five Stars we are enjoying an unforgettable 15-year party, in true Latin style.

I was here with my family for my niece birthday celebration. Things went wrong from beginning, both owners run are scam business of looting their customers. charging extra money for food! Beware while renting this place. bad bad horrible experience. owner doesn't even know how to speak polite. bad food, bad decoration inside, charging of parking, horrible service (waited half an hour for snacks) , Can you imagine if hosted party for 150 people and these idiots ran of snacks in the middle of the party. such a bad bad bad experience i have. Never rent this banquet hall guys if you wanna save your money, mood and extra drama. Doesn't worth it at all.

We had our wedding reception here and we loved the place. We wanted a place that would accommodate about 200 people and we wanted great food. The place was intimate and beautiful. Every single person from manager (Mr. Shahin) who was very helpful to stuffs did a great job accommodating us, they gave us great food, the appetizers, main course and desserts were absolutely delicious!! All of our guests were raving about the decor, staffs and especially the food. Everyone was very friendly and made our dream wedding into a reality! We were definitely loved the hospitality and we would recommend this place to anyone for any event!

Very spacious ballroom. Hall area extra large. Decor is beautiful. Can fit 1,000+ great place for large weddings. Valet parking. Area is up and coming. Staff friendly and courteous enjoyed all the extras of the event.

Nice places for any events. Great space. Only problem is getting a parking lot around the area.

This is one of my favorite venue for party. The place where our wedding reception took place. The owner and his son are super good. Soo helpful , planned our event soo well . Food and service is outstanding. Our guest enjoyed throughly.

It's an okay venue place. If you are on budget, you can book this hall. The food was.. meh.

Good place to have a decent size event. Had some problem with music system in between couple of times that ruin the progress of dance (maybe a short-circuit). Clean washroom and good area if youncan manage well with seatimg and stage.

My husband and I had our akth (Islamic wedding) ceremony in this banquet and the service was exquisite. From the space for our guests to the lighting for our professionally-shot pictures, everything we desired was received from Five Star Banquet. The flow of our ceremony was smooth and went as planned, partly due to the compatibility of the venue. I would definitely recommend this venue to a friend or anyone looking to make their moment memorable. I absolutely loved the service we received and I really appreciate the work done by Five Star Banquet.

Good hall for big events. Bonus point - parking on roof top. Very convenient.

I actually never give review but the services provided by 5 Star made me to write something good about it. I had an wedding reception on this month. We usually have our parties in 5 Star but never felt better than this. I think, these all became possible because of the new manager Mr. Shahim. He is very nice and gentle person. He is best in providing the services as the client want. Thank you for making our event wonderful.

Service sux rude staff owner manager bunch of idiots

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony in this banquet and the service was exceptional. From space to catering to even the lighting, this banquet provided us with everything that we needed to make our ceremony a special event for us and our families. I would definitely recommend this banquet to anyone looking to make their wedding ceremonies special or even to make their parties an eye-opening experience. This banquet made my event one to remember as it can for you, as well.

I just had my wedding reception at the location. The place has been renovated and has very colorful look with class. I would like to thank Mr Shaheen and the owner who were fully attentive to anything that was required . The staff were helpful with nice smile. Great FOOD (feedback from my guest). For me , it's an amazing place if you are planning a big crowd.
