I would recommend this website for finding a suitable piano teacher. I found a local tutor within a short space of time after registering with First Tutors and I also had replies back from other tutors giving their availability. Great website for locating the right tutor in your area.

I have worked with this company for several years now, and from start to finish have found them professional, reliable, courteous and extremely well-organised. I highly recommend them to any tutor.

Largely a positive experience, with a couple of "niggles":
* the 'availability' calendar is quite useful - until certain slots on certain evenings are filled. Attempts to let potential students know which slots are still available (by adding exact times) are treated as suspect messages, so am unsure if the info finally gets there.
* it isn't made clear enough that I expect students to travel to me; leading to misunderstandings and "no match"
* I don't like being asked to tout for feedback - so I don't - ever.
I am, however, happy to remain on the site, as I receive plenty of work from it. (I've just had to deactivate my account for the moment).

We used first tutors to find a French tutor for higher level leaving cert French. Excellent site with first class tutor . Native French speaker . Excellent tutor with wonderful teaching methods . Cannot recommend this site enough

It is very awkward at times to talk to prospective students because until they have purchased a tutors details no specific information can be shared, having said this I have had several students through first tutors.
