I got my new CR-V checked out for a knocking sound. I bought the CR-V in NC. Fantastic service experience. Jack from the service department was courteous and heard the issue. They were very busy in the afternoon and asked me to come the following morning. When I went in the morning, I was taken care of right away given a loaner. I am pleased with the customer service and highly recommend Jack W at First Texas for Honda Services

Jay was great! He was able to figure out what was wrong with my car and get it taken care of as quickly as possible. Every time my husband called about something (the rental, if it was ready, when would it be ready, were there any recalls, etc) he answered our questions and remained patient. Thanks Jay - I know we called a LOT!

Joe Reyna was fantastic. I love your no-haggle buying experience and will recommend for anybody to buy a car from Honda. Earlier in the day we came from a Toyota where we engaged in the traditional haggling experience that eventually involves the sales manager to close the deal. Yuck! We were left with a great feeling when dealing with Joe.

I ve been here a couple of times for service on my car and have always had great experiences with the service advisors and quality of work. My most recent visit I had Zach as my service advisor and he was very helpful and precise with how long of wait to expect. Even though it was busy he still made sure to answer all my questions and did anything he could to deliver great customer service.

Your sales rep is rude.. her name was Liz files and first of all you ripped me off by selling a broken car and when I wanted to do trade it in you offered 3.5k and it was Honda car. All other dealers had quoted 5k or more. It's just a big scheme to loot

My daughter took her car there for a simple oil change. (this happened today, July 7, 2016) She asked for a time frame on what to expect. They informed her they would have the oil changed within 30-45 minutes so she agreed to have her vehicle serviced there vs going to Jiffy Lube. It took over 2 hrs to get the oil changed and she was stuck dealing with a hyper 2 yr old in the waiting room. She asked the manager about it and was told "Even Dominos pizza doesn't deliver pizza within 30-45 mins" and her expectations were out of line for thinking an oil change (nothing else done) would be under 2 hrs. What kind of service is this??? And what does pizza have to do with an oil change? (side note to the manager: Jiffy Lube gets it done in 30 mins...as does Inver Grove Honda up in Minnesota where we live)

Best service experience ever! I received a prompt ...

Best service experience ever! I received a prompt greeting, met with my service advisor, Trevor, and went on a test drive with him. We returned to the service drive where I was directed where to go for my service loaner. The loaner crew were awesome too, everyone was super friendly. From my front door, to the dealership, back to my front door, my entire trip took less time than I spent waiting for an oil change at another Honda dealership further north. Rocky Road Honda or something.

I had just bought a used Civic and noticed the passenger window regulator needed to be readjusted. Jared Robinson took action right away, he had one of his technicians look at it that day, and then had me follow up so his lead technician could look at. I was in there for 15min and they had already fixed the problem at NO CHARGE!! Thank you Jared and the team at first Texas Honda!! You have my business for LIFE!! Service department is excellent. Customer care on par with a Lexus dealership or landrover. Beats any other Honda dealership hands down. Sales department is friendly and low pressure. Prices not always the best since it is a fixed price no haggling dealer.

Excellent prices, excellent offers and a luxury customer service.

If you want good advice for your purchase, do not hesitate to look for Jorge Vega, a salesman who will always try to offer you the best available offer.

And if you need a technical service, my experience with Jack Wright and Jack Kresky was excellent.

At First Texas Honda, they make you feel like you, as a customer, are the most important thing.

I was able to book a same-day appointment for a first time maintenance service for my new vehicle. Upon arriving for my appointment time I experienced practically no waiting time as there was no line of cars in front of me and someone came to address me within minutes. During my wait I was kept well informed of the status and the work was completed well within the estimated time frame that was provided me upon arrival. This was just an initial maintenance service on a brand new car so no issues were expected, but still this experience was a very positive one overall.

I had an extremely pleasant experience with First Texas Honda. My salesperson Virgil Rogers and finance gentleman Steve, are very friendly and knowledgeable, they are professional but yet very personable. Virgil was very attentive to everything we needed!
The entire process was effortless.
I was surprised to see all the staff smiling it is very obvious they are happy working there. The coffee shop was amazing!

I got into an unfortunate accident running errands one weekend that totaled my old car (a Kia Rio that I dearly loved). After wracking my brain for a solid week over what to get I chose a Honda Fit and after doing some research decided to work with First Texas Honda because they have such a large inventory of new cars. After filling out an online inquiry they quickly got in touch and answered all of my questions about the features I wanted. They were also very flexible on working with me due to being on maternity leave with an infant at home and having to work around my husband's work schedule. Tony was incredibly nice, helpful, and mindful of the challenges of working around a baby's schedule and needs. He found the color and build I wanted at another Honda dealership and got it in the same day. They found me a great financing option and I love my new car. It's nice to know I can get a courtesy loaner if/when I need work done on my new car. Looking forward to continue working with First Texas Honda for maintenance and new cars in the future.

I purchased a used vehicle from First Texas Honda in July of 2016. Several days ago an issue arose that was to have been taken care of prior to my purchase of the vehicle. I called Mike at First Texas Honda to explain the situation (not really expecting any resolution from the dealership), and he immediately said he would make it right. My wife brought the vehicle in today and it was done. We appreciate a manager and dealership that stands behind its promises. Thank you!

My husband and I have been to a few dealerships over the past few months to look at vehicles. Out experience with First Honda was by far the best.

Sean helped us purchase a used Ford Escape this past weekend. He was honest and helpful! I felt absolutely no pressure whatsoever which is a huge leap from the usual car buying experience. Since the dealers here do not work on commission Sean helped us facilitate a great deal on my trade in and car price.

I was hesitant about the car because of a small portion that had been paint patched prior to being traded in and Sean spoke with the manager to find a solution. Honda is very graciously painting that section of the car professionally for me tomorrow and has even offered me a rental car if I need one while it is taken care of. To me that is above and beyond. They could have easily been dismissive about the problem especially after offering me an additional $500 for my trade in but chose to go the extra mile to make sure my purchase was all that I wanted it to be.

I also loved the interaction and respect Sean had for our family. I am a stay at home mom so my husband was buying and financing the car for me however, I never felt like I was being treated like a second class citizen. Sean spoke to me about the car directly and asked me questions about what I liked or didn't like. In the past I have had experiences where the sales people have spoken around me once they realize I am not the one directly financing the car. Sean treated me with respect.

The dealership was very family friendly. We had to bring our 1 year old with us and we were all provided with free snacks from their coffee bar. They had a great little playroom for the kids. There was even a mother's room for me to comfortably nurse my daughter in. We will definitely be looking at First Honda to purchase my husband's next vehicle as well.

This dealership epitomizes the sleazy car salesman stereotype, and I warn everyone not to do business here. They will scam you for every penny they can, and do it with a car salesman smile.

My wife took in our Honda Odyssey for a routine maintenance and oil change for which we have a Honda Care comprehensive Vehicle Service Contract for. The contract is the most extensive you can purchase, covering everything from oil changes to all necessary maintenance. She comes home nearly crying, and tells me she felt pressured into some "cautionary" maintenance she should have done to keep the van in "tip top shape". They charge her over $500 for it, despite the Honda computer analysis printout stating that everything is green and good. This service department decided to scam my wife with unnecessary maintenance just to make a quick buck.

I called the Service Manager listed on the feedback card, Cody Penna, to complain. At first he informed me that he would take care of it. He said the work was actually covered by our plan, and that he would refund us for it. I was happy with the resolution until he called me back informing me that wasn't the case. I told him without a reimbursement for this bogus work, I would never do business there again. I hope the $500 they scammed from us was worth the loss of all our future business, and a warning to all of you to avoid them for fear of the same.

I made an offer on a vehicle via email and I got a short video sent back to me tailored for what I mentioned in the email. I was a bit floored..in a good way! Brandon the sales guy was great! I never felt pressured, they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. They even delivered the car to me in Kyle! The only thing I regret is that i think I may have gotten them to come down a bit more on the cost...but I still felt I got a good deal :) Highly recommended!!

I came in at 5pm on a Friday for an oil change (didn't make an appointment) and he had me out of there in a little over an hour. That's a record! Plus he was very friendly and made me feel like a valued customer.

I test drove some cars at First Texas Honda in September 2019 but wasn't quite ready to make a decision. I went back about six weeks later and was paired with Amanda Day, a senior sales manager. She is a very friendly, kind, approachable and patient person -- and she never pressured me to hurry up or to make a decision.

During the sales process, I ended up having a change of heart about which vehicle I wanted. Even though that change wasn't convenient for her or her team, every single one of them -- especially Amanda, but also her sales manager, the finance contact Jeff and others -- worked together to make things happen. Thanks to them, I'm now the proud owner of a certified 2019 CR-V.

If you're shopping for a new or certified Honda, I recommend giving Amanda a call and going to see her at First Texas Honda. Even though purchasing a car is a transaction, it doesn't feel transactional when you're working with her. She takes pride in her job and her dealership (which, btw, has a great coffee bar), and she enjoys helping people through the process. She wants you to feel supported through the process, and she wants you to be happy with your purchase! Thanks to her (and her team), I did and I am!

***EXCELLENT***Never had a more pleasant experience buying a car! I got an excellent deal on a 2018 and I would recommend this dealership to anyone who expects the highest level of customer service. Anthony was professional, knowledgeable, and most interested in my satisfaction. Every person from the time that I called in to find out about a car to John the finance guy treated my husband and I with respect and courtesy. If you're just curious about the latest features or models and you're not ready to buy yet- go in and enjoy the atmosphere. There's no pressure just a friendly group of people available to give you info and be a resource.

Richard Torres is such a genuine person and I feel really fortunate that he was my sales guy.

Let me preface this with, I have had only one car in my life and it was a Mazda6 that my family purchased new for me in 2004 when I was in high school. Coming from a background where money was really tight, this car was so special to me, and up until this weekend, half my life was spent driving this car. If it were at all possible, I would keep driving this car forever. However, time has not been a friend to this car and after I got a flat tire last week, I discovered that the suspension system that connected the front passenger wheel to the car was broken beyond any reasonable repair for how much this car was worth and that it was time to say Goodbye.

I was basically DRAGGED to First Texas Honda by my boyfriend on Friday night, where he leased his car, so I could start getting an idea of car pricing and availability. Due to my car's age (16 years), the idea of a replacement was unfortunately, not a new one. I had been doing research off and on for about a year online, but would never commit to actually visiting dealerships. I knew the Honda Civic would probably the best match for my needs, it was just a matter of how and where from.

We were greeted by Richard first thing walking in, even though we had no appointment, and it was right at the end of their day with only a little less than an hour before they close. We explained why we were there and he just jumped right into it getting us to sit down with him to align what our expectations were and what he could do for us. I really appreciated his candid delivery of information and it did not feel like he was pushing to get us a car that night, and his goal was to help me get what I needed, which was information. Since there wasn't enough time to test drive the available cars they had that fit the criteria we discussed, we set up an appointment for the next day (Saturday) to do the test drive. I was honestly very happy that there wasn't enough time to do anything else because I was already getting pretty overwhelmed as the reality of replacing my car started to solidify.

I did my homework with the information about the cars Richard offered me to see what other dealerships in the area had and how fair the price was for what was being provided. Despite looking through several different websites and listings, the ones Richard gave me still felt like the best choice. I only say this because from anyone else's point of view, it would seem like I compulsively bought a car in a day, and yes, technically that's what happened, but it was not compulsive.

The next day we met up with Richard, and it had been an overwhelmingly busy day for him, but despite that, we still felt taken care of, and he was very honest about his situation, which I appreciate. We're all human, and if he had been trying to act perfect without letting us know how busy he was, I feel that the lack of communication would've led to me thinking he was hiding something, which I don't respond well to. After test driving the cars, I felt much better about purchasing and knew one of these cars was going to be my next car. Discussing how I felt about each car with Richard felt like I was chatting about it with a friend, and that is not something I was expecting at all. Thanks to Richard, I feel like I was much more confident in my decision than I would've been had I been paired with someone using more conventional sales speech tactics.

Richard is super friendly and genuine. He acts more like a knowledgeable and enthusiastic mentor or friend than a salesman, and for that reason, I ended up buying a new car "in a day." Thanks Richard!

I would like to share a few of the things that I liked about my Product Specialist, Nik Barrows, and First Texas Honda.

My Father, first contacted Nik, after researching Honda Civics and Accords online. I had an appointment to meet with Nik to test drive a Honda Accord and a Honda Civic on a Friday afternoon.

During the two test drives, Nik took the time to answer all the questions I had about the Honda Accord and Civic, and explain their basic, helpful, and useful functions in detail.

After the two test drives, my Father spent some time chatting with Nik, and Nik, took the time to answer all my Father's questions.

I decided to get the luxury package, of the 2018 Honda Accord, in black color. I loved how comfortable it felt driving the 2018 Honda Accord, and the new safety features such as the collision mitigation system, wide angle rear view camera, and the brake hold feature, for stop and go driving on congested Austin highways.

The exterior of the car also looks sleek, with nice curve lines.

On Saturday, (the next day), after normal working hours, Nik took the time to drive my new Honda Accord all the way to Lakeway, TX, which is a 45 minutes to 1 hour drive from the First Texas Honda dealership. Nik also carefully, and correctly, programmed the two house car garage doors, and the security gate for the subdivision.

On Monday, Nik, took the time to e-mail me to see how I was doing, and provided new driver instructional videos. He also answered a few of my questions, promptly through e-mail.

Nik Barrows, and all the employees, I have met and talked to, at First Texas Honda are nice, friendly, courteous, and work hard, each and every day, to make sure customers like me, and future customers, are happy, and leave 100% satisfied.

I was impressed first with the immediate attention received at my initial contact, this was encouraging as an out of area customer. I was assigned a Sr Sales Consultant, Joe Reyna, we made contact immediately to discuss my interest. An appointment to visit the showroom was arranged for a test drive. A contract was completed initially and concluded two days later. All of the process was fluid and smooth, always professional. I could not imagine buying a vehicle out of area before this but would not hesitate to do so again. The support staff was excellent as well sans Julia Dale for after market assistance. First Texas Honda is a novel operation obviously in tune with the market segment they serve sans the largest Honda dealer in the universe. Lastly, I am excited about my Accord Coupe, my second Honda purchase and look forward to worry free use backed up with a great extended warranty. Bravo First Texas Honda!.

First Texas Honda is not like other dealerships that try to haggle you, they are completely haggle-free. I was assigned to Kenneth Sands to purchase my very first vehicle. After discussing my price range and that I wanted the Honda Fit LX, he went right to work to get me the best deal. I got the vehicle I wanted with the payments I wanted and it was PAINLESS! Since I had heard horror stories about buying cars, we discussed everything via email for about a month because I was hesitant with buying a vehicle, but Kenneth reassured me of my purchase by being very honest and helpful. Not once did I feel like I was being haggled in any way. Everything we discussed via email is exactly what happened and I drove away in a brand new Honda Fit. I recommend First Texas Honda as well as Kenneth Sands to anyone on the market for a new vehicle because my experience was beyond amazing.

Great Dealership to buy from. However, when it comes to service ing the vehicle I was disappointed. I had been taking my pilot to FTH since 2013 for the repair work, but this time come to find out you have to set and appointment for oil change and the appointment you set is for your vehicle writeup only. Currently 3:00 pm and I am in the shop still waiting for my vehicle, app time and checked in at 11:45 am. Finally pulling out at 3:45pm.

The blower motor on the AC/Heater was not working . I made an appointment and took my car in to be repaired. Josh called me to explain what the cost would be and tell me when the car would be ready. It was a very smooth situation and the car was ready on time. They gave me a loaner for the day so I had transportation all day. Great service-great people!

Andre K. Is my favorite service advisor. Always kind and attentive. Aaron and AJ are also super helpful. I keep my car up to date so when I come for a maintenance check, it's always a quick turn around. If I do have to leave my car, they are able to call me a complimentary Uber & get allow me to wait from the convenience of my home. Even when I bring my car in without an appointment, they always make the time to see me. I always have a good experience here and it is why I choose to only bring my car here.

These guys have few good offers for service but if you ask them they won't tell you. My recommendation is to do your research on web before you step into their service center. This was the second time in 8 months I went there for service and both the times their washing systems were not working, it's unbelievable how they operate their service center. After delivery they did all the inspection and everything were green then I showed them my broken wiper blades it was clearly visible, I regret going there that too for 2 times.

I took my car (2013 CRV) in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I was steered to the express service and told it would take about an hour and a half. No problem, their coffee is good and I had an iPad to read e-mails on. But when we passed the hour and forty-five minute mark I went looking for my service advisor. Yes, the oil change and rotation had been done but a routine check found my battery to be defective and they were just finishing up replacing it under warranty. I love it. If they hadn't checked the battery I'm sure it would have failed in some miserable hell hole somewhere on a 112 degree day. That they were proactive and checked the battery is great. Still made it out in less than two hours. They explained everything very well. An added plus: a service advisor named Armando, who I used to bring the cars to at First Texas Honda's old location is back! He was always thorough and great. I'll look forward to having him as my service advisor going forward. All in all a great experience.

Wow. I am very disappointed in this Honda. I bought my car here in the fall and they offered a decent price and had a fabulous selection of cars. When I picked it up the cleaning job was pitiful, but whatever I had a new car.

I put low miles on my vehicle and always get it serviced at the dealership but their maintenance system needs some serious work. There is no way to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I don t know whether to blame the Service Employees or the system, but no other dealership I have been to is as horrible as this.

I arrived at 1225, punctual for my 1230 appointment. And be 1:00 pm I was still sitting in my car waiting to be CHECKED IN. Several employees came up to me and said oh you need to wait for your service consultant. For whatever reason they assign you to someone. And if that person is double booked or busy, you are just screwed. My service guys name was Jonathan. Don t know if it was his negligence or the entire process. I am very disappointed on the time suck and slowness. To top it off I never even saw him because I complained on how long it was taking.

If I didn t sign up for the service package I would never come back.

My recent experience with the service department at First Texas Honda was exemplary. They lent me a brand new loaner car (a 2017 CRV) while my car was being serviced. Two individuals that I dealt with were Jay Jank who was the service advisor and coordinated service of my car and Teresa Rodriguez who checked me out and actually walked me personally to my car. Each was attentive and responsive to my concerns. It s rare to receive this level of professional service anywhere.
