On April 9th I fell and hurt my back. They were doing construction laying down new flooring. There was NO indication that the floor was wet. I hurt my back and have medical bills which they and the contractor have refused to pay. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit. This company most definitely lacks integrity please be advised.

I have worked for First Communities for a little over a year now and I absolutely love it! Everyone is great to work with and I love that the larger Charlotte market includes us RTP employees :) The sense of family and unity is very abundant and I am so grateful for that!!

Most nastiest attitudes I ever seen don t come fix none go up on prices when they feel like it they gave me a stove full of roaches my apartment is infested they painted my tub I haven t sat in a tub a entire year I take showers these apartments so sad I rather stay at a SHELTER they don t even deserve a one star I think the app automatically does that oh not to mention everybody power bills are 400 dollars because they have theses 1920 furnaces in so if your not completely homeless please do not move there listen listen listen

If I could give them ZERO STARS I WOULD!!! DO NOT! I repeat do not move into any of the properties these people own. They are money hungry and only out to get ur money. They don t care about u or your families. I lived in what is not called Amber Grove. (Still ghetto and mismanaged by Priscilla, they fired all the good people and kept the yesmans to corporate) My ceiling was falling for over 3 months and they didn t fix it then kept my deposit after I was told I could leave early. It s been a nightmare dealing w these ppl and if they don t like what u say they simply block ur emails as if u don t exist. Debbie Nicholson and then another lady from corporate k Ashley I believe her name was were no help either. Don t make the same mistake I made. These people don t care about you one bit. I suggest u find another place where they put customer service in front of greed. Don t fall for the trap. They talk a good game then keep ALL UR MONEY WITH NO APOLOGIES OR CARE IN THE WORLD.

This company took over management of the complex where I live in Charleston, SC, and they are the worst. Major maintenance issues are not resolved and the ladies in the office, one in particular, are always rude and unprofessional. Many scathing reviews have been written about these issues for the complex but nothing has changed, so I thought I'd leave this here. This company is terrible.

My apartment is invested with roaches, the leasing office has not come to spray the entire month of August after 3 requests. There are shootings in the complex almost every week (and my lease started June 6th), the leasing office has stopped providing notices of incidents that have occurred since August. Multiple things reported to the office that needs to be repaired in my apartment are still not fixed. There is constant trash that litters the grounds on a daily basis. I do not wish to remain in this community because it is unsafe and filthy; and I wish to be released from my leasing agreement without penalty.

Do not move here I repeat do not move here !!!! I have been at The Reserve at Sweetwater Creek going on two years and at this point I would rather sleep in my car. There is no communication between the front office and the tenants. I have been trying you get my refrigerator replace for over a week. I have put in multiple work orders and contacted the rent office and corporate with no resolve. I purchased groceries last Saturday and today I have to home and put everything in the trash because it all went bad. My refrigerator is not getting cold at all. Its just sad that at a time like this in the mist of a pandemic you can t rely on the this property to fix things that are necessary to have. Money wasted at a time like this is never a good thing.

This is the property management group that runs my apartment complex, The Avalon at 6000 Regal Estate Ln, Charlotte, NC 28212. They are slum lords. If you re apartment complex is run badly, it is probably run by these people.

Bug Infestation and current manager, Tania Galaviz, is insensitive to tenant's concerns. I had to move out of my apartment do to bugs in my apartments. My apartment was sprayed 5-6 times in a year and the bugs never went away. I have a four year old son that was exposed to the constant chemicals and bugs throughout the apartment. I found bugs on my son's toothbrush, bugs in my cabinets, bugs on my bed/ couch, etc. The final straw was while I was cooking and a roach crawled on the stove. I near burned myself trying to remove my food from the stove so I could kill the bug before it got to my food. I moved out once my lease was over and the Brighton Way had the nerve to charge me $800 for not giving them notice. The notice was all the times I have to inform them of bugs in my apartment. I also tried to contact the corporate management company, First Communities, and they did not respond either.

DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS!!!! Please read the reviews of other previous tenants and know the bug infestation is not an isolated issue.

And to end on a good note..... Ms. Katy and Mr. Gus are awesome. They don't deserve to be associated with this review.

Very friendly and helpful professionals. I'm definitely looking forward to potentially renting here. These are very nice apartment homes and Townhomes especially for the price range in the area.

FCM is a remarkable place to work! I am going on my seventh year of employment and I cannot think of working anywhere else for it would be like leaving family. The leadership at FCM is the best for not only do they walk the talk and lead by example they are so supportive. If you are ever wanting to work for a company that is innovative, experienced, motivating, and loyal then please consider FCM.

Terrible Customer Service, I have called everyday, for 6 weeks concerning my admit fee. 1st I was told it had been processed on 10/14 never received it. Today I was told it will be going on sometime this week, to find out, they took down the wrong address and now it's to late to change it. So i have no idea where my money is or going. Not one returned phone call in 6 weeks!!! Worst management I've ever dealt with!!

The apartment it self was decent, but staffing was horrible. The newly renovated apartment were falling apart, showered, cabinets, lights fixtures. The lack of professionalism in the leasing office, important documents were misplaced. To get something fixed took time and that s also because the work orders were never put in. management does not communicate with each other and they have different stories to tell their residents and you never get a clear answer.

Complete and utter slum lords. have had issues since day one. Workers are friendly, that's about all I have to say. Roaches and beg bugs, vandalism, all problems you have to deal with living in these facilities. They keep remodeling areas while other areas (like the elevator) have been down for over a year now. All they care about is money and that's it. DO NOT MOVE TO ANY OF THEIR LOCATIONS!!!

Terrible TERRIBLE customer service. Extremely poor performance when it comes to communication and management of properties and tenants. Impossible to get a hold of via phone or in person. Delayed and inaccurate correspondence over email. Lack of integrity, poor follow through on simple tasks. ERP and client interface systems do not work well. Late announcements with inadequate information and reactionary measures. They do not plan, don t pro act. It is amazing how companies like this one stay in business.

I lived in one of their properties and when I ended my lease due to military PCS, I was suppose to get my security deposit back. I moved out in June and I ve called Skyview Townhomes and the property management. I ve been given the run around about my check. Oh, we sent it. Yeah, it should be coming. We sent it to the wrong address. Our property manager was fired but the check is on its way to you. It s been 2 months! It doesn t take this long. I guess I ll just take you all to court.

Edit ****Still NO RETURN PHONE CALL*** HAD TO CALL CODE ENFORCEMENT OUT AS WELL AS REPORT TO BBB.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have left several messages and not one single person has bothered to return a phone call. I've sent emails, had conversations with the sweet receptionist in regards to our situation. Over 6 weeks and we have had several, some emergent maintenance issues, my daughter was attacked and raped on property. So glad to know your residents matter so little to you.
Funny how most of the good reviews of this company are by EMPLOYEES. BEWARE.

Lived @1377 apartments for 8 months and never had a better place than this. They are extremely responsive to residents, and I feel that the safety of residents is their top priority during COVID.
