HUGE! This farmers' market is massive, and has a great selection of everything. Worth fighting the traffic.

It gets pretty crowded down there on nice days so go early if you want to shop. But if you want to just people watch and wander around - go whenever. The selection of local produce and products is great. My favorite are the huge beautiful bouquets of flowers.
This is a destination worth visiting for anyone that loves food.
Great market but its soooo busy that it's hard to get around or chat with the vendors
Lovely day fall day for a walk through the market. Lots of great local seasonal produce, with much of it organic. Great atmosphere for veggie and people watching. There's also a wonderfully large variety of various ethnic specially items as well. It's easy to see why so many people bring extra bags, carts, buggies, and wagons. There's just way to much great stuff to pass up.
A great place to buy local, very fairly priced, sometimes organic, produce. There are always tons of free samples at the bakery booths - be sure to check them out. There are also lots of great food venders from around Portland. I recommend checking out Pine State Biscuits! Once you decide that you love them, be sure to head over to their restaurant location to get more!
We were there in late June so all the berries and fruits were super flavorful. Special note: the stands aren't allowed to sell anything until the bell rings at 8:30am sharp. The coffee carts often break the rules :)
I didn't need the office location. I wanted to find the actual market. Sheesh... parking fees even
Its getting into winter and this farmers market is still going strong! I try to go there every week and buy eggs, I love speckled eggs. The cooking demos are fun and the market is pretty big, it takes me about an hour to get through it all.
The produce, food, locally made goods, music and the people- all make for a perfect Portland Saturday:-)
This is definitely the best farmers market in Portland, with every local, seasonal, organic product you could hope to find. The people are great, it goes year-round, and it's the best place to do your weekly shopping, no matter what you need.
Great market and selection of local produce. Be weary of big lines for food.
Typical farmer market with urban touch! Love the place!
Awesome farmers market! Lots a vegetable and fruit, when in season, options.
Rated by Delta magazine as one of the best Farmer's markets in the country, and for good reason.
The best selection of farmers and produce. You know who grew the food you're gonna eat, and supporting them helps everyone! Parking is a little hard to find but turnover is fast.
Huge! Awesome food to eat there and to take home. Very busy, no craft venders.
Farmers market was great when we went! There were so many vendors, the choices were a little bit overwhelming.
If you are around on Saturdays, it is a must see market.
Great place, variety of goods, mainly food products, fresh veggies, fruits, bakeries, pizza, sandwiches, seafood, meat, rare products, authentic meals.
Very well spot (PSU Campus)
There is a motel accross from here. I bought SMOKES and BEER. Friendly people, nice place to be when in need.
Overpriced for doing all of your grocery shopping, but great for discovering new local gems. In the summertime go for the plentiful vegetables, juicy berries, and live music.
Don't be distracted by the fruit and veggies - head straight to the back and find Pine State Biscuits. Grab yourself a Reggie biscuit sandwich :: chicken, bacon & cheese topped with gravy
Tea Towel Kitchen, Wonderful selection of hand made kitchen and home wares! A MUST see / visit!
Fresh food and flowers direct from the local farmer. Great place to get local, seasonal food that mostly spray free, with several having organic. It does get crowded so show up early. Also good breakfast here like Pine State Biscuits.
Very large selection from local farms and vendors. I found the prices very reasonable considering the quality you get. Beats going to Wholefoods or Gelson's. Also, tons of free samples.
Funky-fun farmers market. Not your traditional market
Great selection, tons of vegan options and beautiful location!
Who needs to sample at Costco when you can come here and enjoy everything fresh. Tons of great photo ops for the budding photographer. Come hungry and enjoy some tamales or Pine State Biscuits!
It took us 2 hours to go around the whole thing. So many varieties!
Fresh produce but prices could be better with no middlemen . Pine biscuits overpriced !
Awesome market! Little pricey, but the selection was great
No city is complete without their own farmers market. Tons of fresh, local produce to prepare you for the coming week!
