I thought this venue would be better because they were very quick with food and drink. The band was awesome. Unfortunately, what would've been a decent review was completely ruined at the end when they were literally nagging my wife to leave in the bathroom when she was just trying to relieve herself in preparation for a long trip back home. I mean, they actually walked in in the middle of her still going to tell her to get out. After she finished, she did a great job giving this girl a piece of her mind before we left. I'm glad she did. Very unprofessional. All employees should represent the establishment with professionalism.

Went to an event and really enjoyed myself. However there weren't enough trash cans to accommodate the area, but I'm not detracting from that because they kept them empty with staff members constantly checking on them. But the interior decor and snack bar prices were both God awful.

One of the worst venues for parking and getting in and out of event. Huge lines to enter and we were like a herd of cattle pushed through two exit doors. Stuck in parking garage after event for so long. Will skip any and all events held here from now on.

THE WORST EVER, DONT GO! We had a group of people attend the Jim Gaffigan Show. Our seats were folding chairs, and they were placed so close together that you had to turn sideways just to avoid hitting the person sitting in front of you. I am only 5'3, and I had to tuck my feet under my chair, so that my feet did not poke the person sitting in front of me in the back (because the back of the folding chairs were open). The seats were so small and close together, if someone wanted to pass by you to get to their seat, the entire row would stand, and walk to the aisle. No, I am not exaggerating, you COULD NOT squeeze in front of them to pass without possibly kicking, or falling over the row in front.
We arrived to our seats about 20 minutes before the show was supposed to start, and we sat there, very uncomfortably, for 50 minutes before the show even started. This is because the show started 30 minutes late. The tardiness would not have been a problem, if any of us were the least bit happy, but it was hard to be. Everyone in this section was so discouraged, and talking amongst themselves, wondering if they would be able to sit in the seats through the entire show.
The show ended up starting over a half hour late, and the management decided to not turn the air on during the entire show. The Lady next to me had her bare arm pressed against mine (not her fault, because we were packed like sardines), the problem was, she was so hot she was dripping sweat that was then running down my arm. The person on the other side of my dad continued to yell at the person behind him, because he was getting kicked in the back. By the time the show started, our buts were numb and our backs hurt.
This was the worst show experience any of us had encountered! Why ever return to a venue that you wish you never came to in the first place!

Easy to find and get to. Staff was friendly at the door, multiple metal detectors at the door, so the line moves nicely. Not a super high stadium, but that was fine with me. The chairs are cushioned, so that's a plus. My only complaint would be the bathrooms. They looked pretty beat up and some of the locks were broken.

I attended the Killers concert 11/29/2012. I am a big fan of the Killers and enjoyed their concert. The problem with the 1st Bank Center is the poor sound quality. The acoustics are terrible and the music is distorted. It was difficult to hear the words. I will not attend a concert at this venue again. It is a waste of your money. Parking is another issue. I parked in the neighborhood to avoid the $10 parking fee. Many of the streets near the parking lot have places to park but no-parking signs are placed in these streets in order to not lose the $10 per car parking fee.

I got no joke yelled at by security for my ticket that I got from the box office being blue. The blue ticket caused the person helping me to yell in my face that its fake and what convinced him it was real was I took him to the box office. Flash tickets has the worst customer support and their site barely works . while 1st bank center employees are just incompetent and yell even when they are wrong or have no need too. I stood in a metal detector for about 6 min as it broke and no one knew what to do then my credit card and ID found no order history and they only let me in as my email had my order summary. The box office mgmt that gave me the blue ticket and said "ehh this SHOULD get you in"

Good venue, concession prices are what you would expect from a venue of this size, restrooms were decent and pretty well maintained. Not sure if being directed to park a mile away for the event I attended was how every time is, but it was horrible and the only real negative thing about my experience there.

Good venue. Have seen a lot here . From roller derby to ameture hockey to concerts. Much smaller than the Pepsi center. And yes the food and drinks are very expencive but that is to be expected with any venue like this. Parking is a bit expencive too, budget accordingly with this.

One of the best venues in Colorado. I've attended this arena for WWE events in the past and We Love Colorado this weekend. The cleanliness of the facility always impresses me; the staff keeps the place very clean. Seats are comfortable and security was polite. Parking is a very short jaunt away and free.

Staff was incredibly rude to me. I had purchased tickets for excision and about 10 minutes before they came on I decided to go try and get fresh air. I was looking for a smoking section and walked out the wrong door. The staff saw me walk out the door and wouldn't let me back in even when my friend came to show them the tickets we paid for to get into the show. These tickets were $120... On top of that the box office was closed and they wouldn't even let me buy a new ticket to get back in. So all my friends were in a concert and the headliner hasnt even started and I was refused to be let back in even though I paid for a ticket and the staff saw me make the mistake. Then the staff was extremely rude even yelling at me when I was just trying to understand the situation. They proceeded to be rude to me and told me I had to leave from the front of the building and proceeded to try and say I tried to "bribe" another staff member to get back in. Which never ever happened... Then they told my friend I was trying to hop fences to get back in.. also NEVER happened. I was nothing but respecful to the staff and was clearly just upset over the situation. I was treated extremely poorly for a paying customer as well as embarrassed by the staff as they told lies to my friends.... Completely ridiculous. Total bull***

I saw Cirque du Soleil here this weekend. The show was great, concessions were as expected, but with the dimmed lights no one knew which seats were theirs. The staff was not helpful, I was asked by a staffer what section I was in so she could tell another person where their seats were. All after the show had already begun! People kept getting moved around as lots of folks were in the wrong seats which disrupted the show.1st bank needs to paint the section and row number on the concrete stairs. It would make it so much easier for those who are late to get seated in the dark.

I am incredibly disappointed by how myself and others were treated this weekend at the Bassnectar show. Firstly, I respect authority and I respect the need to keep others safe, but there is a HARD line between being a good security guard and becoming an out of line, rude, pretencious, power hungry guard. Not only myself, but everyone else in the line to get into the venue on night 2 were treated like criminals trying to get bombs in the venue. I literally had nothing to hide, I had makeup and some prescription strength pain cream from the doctor in my bag. The security guard rudely forced everyone to throw away the contents of their purse, including myself. There were many people in tears and it felt extremely uncomfortable--- especially since we are just there to have a good time. The guard unzipped every compartment of my wallet, which I get it's private property but seriously? He also told me I could "stash" my lotion safely so I can get it after the show.... Well after the show I went to where everyone had been told to "stash" their important belongings and ALL OF IT was thrown away. Any other guard or employee I confronted about it mocked me, tried to make me feel dumb, and rudely told me they don't care about my problems. He also asked to grope the whole front side of one of my girlfriends. Not okay. He ended up calling a female over but that is incredibly inappropriate. Plus, I saw SO many people who brought in other things that were way more questionable than mascara and lip gloss. It was the worst experience Ive had with security in a while.... And I do not stand for it. Sure there are some guards that acted like humans and had some common sense, but a good half of all the security and all of the staff were so incredibly rude and on a power trip. I will be leaving reviews on as many places as I can. I'm mostly upset that my prescription got thrown away. It was for something very serious and very painful and I needed it at the end of the night and your staff threw it away. I am livid. That was over $40 worth of medicine. You made girls throw away hundreds of dollars of personal property because you're scared of mascara and lip gloss. Just try to remember that you are dealing with PEOPLE. have a little compassion and common sense. And to everyone going to the venue BEWARE.

Awesome time seeing shows here the music is loud the venue is huge the only thing to watch for is if you have bowl or floor tickets depending on where you like to be. Other then that this place is awesome. Excision! Datsik!

The venue is a fantastic arena for shows. There really isn't a bad seat in the house.

However, the water situation is not ideal. They have only a couple water fountains (there is always a 10-15 minute wait for each fountain) while they charge $4.50 for a bottle of water. It's a bit of a safety concern considering how hot it can get in the arena.

In addition, they don't have any recycling bins so 1st Bank Center is throwing hundreds of pounds of plastic into the trash at every show. It would be great to see this venue be more environmentally conscious.

I think first bank is a great place. I know it's out of its control but it's only fair to give it a four because of the parking situation and the curfew. I have been here multiple times and it has been a quick and painless experience getting in. Getting out is a different story I have had better luck at Pepsi center. Can we get all venues to stand up say screw the curfew!!!!
