They were able to get a loan for me even with a questionable FICO score and large credit card debt.Parts of the process were stressful, but I was nervous I wasn t going to qualify. Chris Grasso VP personally met with us to the loan information required. He also was able to set up our closing quickly due to our travel plans. Mckenna Vernon the loan processor was efficient in navigating through and explaining all legal documents for signatures.
I had a very good experience on my VA refi. Loan took longer than expected to close, but Diane kept me in the loop. I would recommend.
After my divorce, I had to refinance to get my ex husband s name off of the mortgage. I tried numerous times with the bank that held my mortgage and was told it wasn t possible. After filling out an online form, I got a call from Financial Freedom and, while I had been dodging calls from other companies, something made me answer. They were amazing right from the beginning. Diane, my loan officer, told me that if they didn t think they could help me, they would tell me. They wouldn t take my money for the appraisal unless they were sure they could close my loan. John, who came to my house with the paperwork, was very nice too. They worked really hard to close my loan and to get me some additional money to pay off credit card debt. They kept me up to date every step of the way and this was right around the holidays too. I would highly recommend them.

Wanted to take this opportunity to thank Victoria Murauka and her team for going above and beyond to help me secure a mortgage, take care of my other debts and restore my sense of security. After the divorce, I was left in a great deal of financial hardship and needed a lending institution to help me get matters back in order. Financial Freedom specializes in the less germane but moreover, Victoria took the time to listen, give me the support I needed and help to get to a better standing financially. If you have been through any sort of financial hardship and not necessarily by your own hand, it becomes so overwhelming one starts to feel less and less secure; afraid of loosing their home, and (in my case) embarrassed by how things were falling apart.
Victoria is a true professional which was obvious within the first five (5) minutes of the conversation; but the genuine care and support throughout the process was a blessed surprise.
When the loan was approved, I cried. I cried because a professional - Victoria - helped me regain confidence and a sense of security and worth. Those are rare qualities these days.
Most of the other institutions who contacted me after I went on Lending Tree shut down the conversation when "recovering financially from a divorce" came into the conversation. I guess those lenders just wanted quantity.

Diane and Kayla were a wonderful team and they did a great job of getting everything I wanted and needed to get. I have been able to do several of the home repairs and updates, I love the new color of my house house and all the different updates I will be getting over the next year. Couldn't have done it without them.
As a single female, I'm always suspicious of offers that seem "too good to be true," so I got cold feet and almost backed out. But, the ladies that had been working with me called and walked me through all of the advantages step by step so I was comfortable that this was a great opportunity for me to cut expenses and increase my income. These guys are the real deal. They actually come to your home and sit and talk with you like they are an old friend from college. After no cooperation with Santander, a mortgage holder, and Chase also a mortgage holder. CR of 843! No return calls after being denied. Federal State Bank dragged me for two months with no progress while titillating me with 2.85%. So I answered a robo-call from NJ. Three weeks later I had a cash-out check in my hand. Mortgaged the income property next dropping my rate to low threes from low fives with another cash-out. Three weeks, progress report multiple times a week with an immediate verification of approval right while on was on the phone! Thank you Anthony Rios; Cameron Bruce; McKenna; Kayla; and Alyssa.
Predatory company, i submitted in march of 2019 rate quote to see interest rates and after telling them i am not interested in moving forward they continue to call me to this day over 1.5 years later as if they have never spoken to me before. They do not care about their clients, they are only trying to make a quick buck. I will be reporting them to the regulators for their practices. Stay Away from this company.

Financial Freedom was very easy and pleasant to work with. I was a bit suspicious at first. My credit was not great but not terrible either. I was not sure they could deliver on a loan with a decent rate. In the end I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to get a loan and take out some money to pay off some high interest debt and get some needed repairs done on my house. Anthony did a pretty good job keeping me informed of what was going on. The true hero though was Miya Bauldock. my processor. She always answered the phone even after my loan had moved past her desk. If I had a question she would work to get me an immediate answer.
If you have average credit but really need to get some cash out of your house. Go to Freedom Financial first. They will be honest and up front with you.

They called me after I tried to look at rates on Lending Tree, who apparently gave them my contact information. I told the rep I would call her back since I didn't have time to talk. I no sooner went back to the stove to finish cooking and the phone rang again. The same rep still wanted to talk. Again I told her I would call back some other time. When she called the third time I told her I now had NO intention of ever calling back and not to call me again. High pressure salespeople are a BIG turnoff.
Loan officer (John Pilling) stated that I qualified far a refinance loan that had a $4500 cash out. One of the Vice President s (Chris Grasso) did the loan application with a loan amount of $10,000 more added to the loan and blamed John for the increase for not adding in PMI/MIP to his quote. Chris also had an outrageous estimated appraisal on the loan application. I told John and Chris several times that the house would not come close to their estimated appraisal. Which could affect me not to being able to get the $4500 at closing. Three days before the closing date, Chris called me assuring me that the $4500 cash out still can be done. That same day, their manger (Kevin Watson) called me to advise me that the appraisal came in at $299,000. Which was $38,000 less than the one on the loan application, and the $4500 cash out couldn t be done. I was very upset that John or Chris didn t listen to me and didn t have the professionalism to call or email me about this, but instead had their manager (Kevin) call me. Another thing that made me frustrated/angry was John, Chris nor Kevin ever answered any of my emails. Kevin also said that he would get me more money (the borrower) at closing for the misunderstanding on the $4500. That never happened. It felt like Financial Freedom Mortgage of Mount Laurel NJ used a bait-and-switch technique to close the loan for commission payments.
Before they approved us, they got all of our documents and processed us before they approved us, then Cameron came to our house and had us sign up for the loan, collected $1400 for two appraisals. Then our file went to the processing department with Iyana of which took two months, all the while promising us a closing date once the file moves to underwriting, then BOOM, we can't get you approved? So we lost $1400 in cash, hours of collecting documents, weeks of phone calls for what? We gave you what you asked, all you had to do was turn us down on day one!! All of our money time hopes and dreams was just a game to these people. To ad insult to injury Kareem said we were closing Tuesday, on Saturday we get a voice mail telling we were not approved after we were past the approval, past processing, in underwriting on the way to closing. I do financing for a living, I would never do a family like this. You don't even have the decency to talk to us directly but a voice mail with news like that. It take me 10 minutes to get someone approved...Smh
Very satisfied with their process. From start to finish it was completed promptly and efficiently. Their Rep. Kareem was courteous and helpful. I addition, we did not have to leave our home to complete the process. The only problem was some of the paper work had to be redone.
