Had to go through with them because Mr Rooter goes through them as a financing company.
Anyways the only reason I tried so hard to get financing through them was because I could have saved $411 with Mr Rooter. I am an independent contractor so I couldn't show proof of income they said to get a co signer/borrower and I did but that wasn't good enough. I sent in all the paperwork that they needed and then some!
Everytime I would email them with questions they ignored me and resent me the application to send in more forms. When I called they said they would call me back and I still haven't heard from them since I called yesterday. They haven't clarified why I havent been approved. The financing was only suppose to be for 1100$ like seriously I could get a loan from my bank easier then this! but like I said the only reason I tried to get financing through them was because I wanted to save 411$ like who wouldn't??
I would have appreciated an email back with more information or a phone call on what I needed to give them..
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone because of their lack of communication is so poor!!!

Financeit human resource department is the biggest joke you will ever come across. Not only is the interview process at this company very unprofessional, it is very unethical as well. Petroula Tsirimbis scheduled me in for an interview for the role of Account Manager - Vehicle department. I met with Daniel who was one of the hiring managers, I want to also note that I work in a similar industry providing loans for automobiles. Instead of interviewing me and my credentials, Daniel continued to ask about my current employer and how they conduct their day to day activities. Let me get into specifics, unethical questions were asked such as "who is your current companies lending institution; where do they get their money from?", "what are you current TOP accounts?", etc. Daniel would ask me a generic question such as "what are your strengths?" in between than get back into asking very specific details about the current employer. After the interview was over I felt very uncomfortable and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out they were clearly using me as a way to learn about the competition as they are launching a new division providing loans to automobiles. For the love of god Daniel asked me twice "what are your strengths?" just to throw me off to confirm the interview is about me. Ok so you might be thinking, how can you be so sure? This is where it gets good and confirms in totality that the HR department ran by Petroula is complete garbage at this company. I email HR at Financeit to confirm if I'm still being considered for the job, I am than invited for a second interview, I decide to go even though I m skeptical. I am met with another hiring manager and Allision whom I believe is the head of National Sales. I kid you not, Allison asks me if this is my second interview having no clue whom I had my first interview with and when I had it. On top of that, both of the interviewers ask "which position are you here for?" are you kidding me, does this company not communicate?!? Right they were using me to learn about the competition, so of course not. No regard of someone s time and effort, sleazy company practise. Yet again the interview was atrocious and unethical. The interviewers ask about the company rather than me and try to gain as much information as they can about their competition. During the end of the second interview I asked "so when do you guys expect to fill this role?" one of the managers starts stumbling on his words and puts his head down and lets Allison answer the question. Allison goes off topic and claims she hasn't done any other interviews nor are any scheduled, they didn't even have a clue about anything. They used me to learn about competition made me take 2 days of work and waste my time. Please stay far away from this company if this is how they treat people imagine how sleazy their business practices are. I would not get a loan from this organization they have sleazy management and don't value peoples time and effort so why would they take care of their customers or dealer groups.

We had to have a custom length sewer liner installed due to an aging and crumbling sewer line in our old home. Our plumber parters with Financeit, which allowed us to set up a very reasonable payment option for the expense. The initial application was super easy. It took me less than an hour. The work on our sewer line took a couple of months from the initial application to when the work was complete, and we had zero issues with adjusting our financing from the initial estimate to the actual invoice. The interest rate we received is very reasonable, and we have the option to make additional payments or pay off the whole of the loan without penalties.

No interest for the first 12 months.
No payments for the first 12 months.

Financeit provided me with the Home Depot Project Loan. I was able to easily use the provided card and keep track of my purchases. Upon completion of the program I was provided a break down of the total loan cost and the monthly payments.
The interest rate was low and the program was easy to understand.

Great payment plan and very competitive interest rates!

I am a business owner, contacted by Financeit on mulitple occasions. First however Financeit is a finance company that offers fiancing to businesses to extend to their customers. The company contacted walked me through the process, gathered all my information approved us as a business. Advanced paperwork to me and well anyway we sent the information, the banking information, the copy of my ID the images of the business etc. The entire process was done at their request and because they wanted us to sign up and offer their payment plans. We completed all the requirments, after being previously assured and then finally I spoke to Brian some kind of a CSR and he informed us they don't understand our products. This is of course after soliciting us and viewing our business information government ID etc. I want to be clear we do not mind not offering the payment plans we mind our time being wasted. They do not have the wisdom to operate properly with respect to business and the valuable time all business's require. Businesses beware this Canadian company is misleading and most likely will waste your time. Sorry to say but we trusted them and beware the communications are automated to lure your business in. The company is fishing for as many leads via drone software. BEWARE!

Very simply and fast way to finance minor home repairs (mine was a Hotwater tank and water filters) decent rates , easily beats using a credit card.

So I thought I was having an exception situation but when I read all of these negative one star reviews, I'm 100% sure now that their customer service is very poor and needs to be addressed properly. They hanged up the phone twice on me, they have spoken to my wife very rude and acting like a police officer. Tell her in a loud tone we don't want to talk to your husband ever again , is that clear!! Is that clear!!! in a very aggressive way. They have no ethical manners whatsoever. They don't know how be presentable and polite to their clients. This is NOT really a place where you can do business with and they show you appreciation at all . I felt because we were given their money became their slaves or something. This is a project loan by homedepot and I dont understand how homedepot could do business with such crocks. Homedepot on the other hand extremely values their customers.

Financeit (A.K.A. CommunityLend) is a non-personable organization that will only give you credit if your score is nearing the 900 on the Equifax credit score. If you are at 780 I would go ahead and chance it but if you are under 780 I would consider another option as they are pretty much within the same policies as TD Canada Trust in their decision making. They want to be 100% sure that you are worth taking the risk on. Only reason I leave this review is for those that are mindful of their credit score at Equifax and don't want to get hit with a black mark against your score by using Financeit unless you absolutely know you have a perfect score. The problem with these types of businesses (which is most of them) is they don't consider real life data. I was turned down by Financeit due to a high debt ratio which makes no sense at all to me but it turns out your score is based on some arbitrary dollar amount Equifax stores as how much you make per year. There is nothing factual about the figure and Equifax won't tell you where they get their figure. Also, Equifax allows businesses (your creditors) to change information (such as your month of birth) that should never be allowed to change. My point being that Equifax stores inaccurate information that your score is based on and businesses like Financeit use that data and nothing else. If you ask Equifax why this data is so corrupt they will tell you that it is your responsibility to ensure it is all accurate and if not you must send in a request to update it. Problem is that a lot of that data is not available to you nor will they tell you which creditor has changed that information so you can't even request that creditor to correct the error. To summarize, Financeit does not use accurate data to determine your financial portfolio and whether you are worthy for a loan so please check your Equifax score prior to requesting a loan otherwise Financeit will hit your credit file at Equifax giving you a black mark (lowering your credit score even more)

After casting my review I did receive a call with a few people from FinanceIt. They sounded like they cared about my experience and wanted to clarify any questions I had. I found this to be a very reasonable but surprising response given that I felt a very high degree of separation when I applied for credit through them.

My initial review remains unchanged, however, based on what I know to be true about my financial standing and what I know I can afford. One thing to keep in mind though is I was applying for an unsecured loan which apparently is a lot harder to get then a house or auto loan or even a credit card according to them. Not-with-standing how helpful the call was meant to be it still comes down to what data was gained from equifax and trust. It's a numbers game with no personal involvement anymore. Nevertheless, my hats off to the crew who called me regardless the underlying agenda, I did feel like I was heard and that in and of itself is what counts. We, the people applying to be in debt, are people too!

Fast and easy experience, will use again in the future if financing is required.
