Clean, nice, organized. Best hotel in that area. Its a 25 minutes drive to Woodbury Premium Outlet mall. I advise all to stay in this hotel and take the shuttle bus to the mall rather than any other hotel close to the mall.

Missed my room service breakfast card on my door, but made up for it by giving me a free breakfast buffet. Bed is a little firmer than I prefer but I am sure most people will like it. Room is clean and updated.

Omg! Where to begin! I left this hotel early because of the rude treatment! I gave them another chance after Friday's fiasco and today I got nothing but attitude! This type of treatment of any paying guest especially an Ambassador is unacceptable. It is total disrespect. In all my life, I never once walked out of a hotel and cancelled the rest of my stay because of such rude and disrespectful treatment. Also, their parking is not handicapped friendly. I took photos. My husband and I are both handicapped. He would drop me off at the door and had to walk back almost a football field uphill with bad knees, bad back COPD, emphysema, asthma, bad heart and he is on disability for all of this. The hotel refused to accommodate us. I called the front desk (again got a rude attitude) and explained our situation and that they only had 2, that's right 2 handicap spots right outside the lobby.. The other handful were either way, way out back or way far away down a ways in the front. Every single night we had to park the distance of a football field away! She told me that there was nothing she could do for us.. I asked because of the severity of being handicapped could we please get permission to park out front and she flatly and rudely told me no after arguing with me and telling me not to leave my room!! I do not recommend this hotel. Yes, the grounds are very pretty but they don't make up for the staff and their attitudes. The condition of the room was not that great, the view was pretty, the bed was comfy, but quality was lacking and the room was warm and blowing warm air in your face as you slept... so we sweated. Go elsewhere. (toilet didn't flush right either) Oh yeah, they put $150 hold on my charge card when they promised Marriott rewards /Ambassador team they wouldn't, only the $30 I authorized! I never gave them Credit Card or permission to charge another $150, so it was done fraudulently to me! They lied!! Then they have the audacity to tell me what's the big deal it's only a hold, it's going to come off! Crazy!

Can you say "anniversary ruined"? We spent our honeymoon here 30 years ago and had decided to recreate it this year as much as possible.
We scheduled our initial reservation to be from a Thursday through Tuesday.
Being Ambassador members, we redeemed rewards points to book the reservation.
Inexplicably to us, somehow Friday night was not included in the hotel's system. We had our representative fix the problem and make the proper reservation. My wife then gave the front desk the confirmation number and we thought the matter was resolved.
After my wife had called the front desk and requested that Sam, the General Manager, contact us regarding the fact that they wanted to charge our credit card again for incidentals, we received a loud knock at our door. It was Stella and a sidekick. My wife and I had just came out of the shower, so she informed them of this. She opened the door on a crack to show them her state of undress, and asked if she could meet them downstairs in a few minutes. Stella's rude and loud response was "No, we are going to wait right here.". Then she had the nerve to say, to an Ambassador member no less, "You have only two choices... pay right now for tonight or leave now." We could not fathom her rudeness and arrogance.
During this exchange I was on the phone with our personal Ambassador rewards representative and he had heard it all. He said he was appalled at the staff's behavior and the treatment of members of our status, (Ambassador,) should not be treated that way. We spent over $20 000 in 1 calander year and spent over 100 nights with Marriott hotels! We are the highest level you can reach. Keep in mind we can schedule our own 24 hour check & check out time(perk) Ours was 8pm to 8pm (or later if running late) and this harassment still happened around 6:30ish, we still had every right to be in the room!!
After straightening out the reservation snafu around 8:30ish, which occurred through no fault of our own, he even refunded our points for that night and apologized our mood was ruined along with our dinner date.
The hotel staff did not apologize for their actions or that we missed our dinner date nor has any member of management reached out to us, even though I had demanded that they do so.
They should have had the wherewithal to realize that there must be a mistake.... Why would you sleep here Thursday and then leave Friday, only to come back to sleep Saturday through to Tuesday? That makes no sense. I had even spoken to Sam the GM on Friday morning informing him that we here celebrating the 30-year anniversary of our honeymoon this weekend. Besides the fact that we did not receive the room type that we were promised, and the fact that our TV was faulty and had to be replaced (props to Mike the facility rep, the only bright spot so far), the one side of the room with fridge reeked of curry, the
treatment that my wife received was horrible and inexcusable, and for the hotel to not even offer an apology is unfathomable.

Beautiful on the inside and outside, however the staff upon check in was subpar at best. Upon arrival I was told that I did not have a reservation even though I had the reservation number through the website. I was then given the wrong room and when I complained I was then told that there were no rooms available for what I reserved. The woman was rude and did not appear to want to resolve the situation. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told that the manager was not on site and would have to be called the next morning. Mind you, I was checking in at 6pm on a Friday evening for a two night stay. The start for check-ins is 3pm. I did stay in the hotel, in a room that was beautiful. But I will not reccomend this hotel to anyone.

The Mahwah Hotel provided continental breakfast and service for all. The building skyrocketed over all and the view was beautiful. The price was reasonable and was a sensable stay. We swam in the heated pool and hot tub and couldn't leave. I would love to return and have the time of my life.

The hotel was beautiful and the location was easy to get to on and off the highway. My only issue was that the room walls must be paper thing. There was so much noise from other surrounding rooms that I had to run my TV on a sleep timer to go to bed. Other than that, no complaints.

I attended a holiday function for work and the hotel is not only very spacious but is beautiful inside and out. I have also stayed at the hotel in the past for a New Years Eve event and the rooms are very large and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had an awards dinner recently at the Sheraton . The dinner was the worst I have eaten in a long time. The salad was wilted, the chicken was cold and uneatable and the vegetables were hard. I asked for a tea and the wait staff never brought it.

I was researching hotels for upcoming wedding, the sales staff really did not seem interested in closing the sale. Amenities are nice and the site nice and clean, so cannot give it a low mark. Based on how lackadaisical the sales staff was in trying to close the sale, especially in knowing that we were looking into booking a block of rooms, I am not sure how they would handle any errors or issues with the rooms or service.
