Excellent upscale Italian dining. I would highly recommend.
Excellent upscale Italian dining. I would highly recommend.
Asian version of Joseph Gordon Levitt works here and recommended a great wine. Specials were on point. Noodles made in house. The staff is a well oiled machine of customer service.
If you like pasta, this place is awesome! But they have lots of other great food too.. like steaks. I had the cioppino (awesome), and my wife had the short rib gnocchi (wow).
Also, everything, including the pasta is made completely from scratch, which for pasta really makes a difference.
Staff was great too.
The best Italian food and dessert I've ever had. I highly recommend the FiAMMA Italian Kitchen. The service is great and the place is very comfortable and lovely!
Top notch Italian food in Vegas. This is a very elegant place for really good service and food. The wine selection is fantastic. If you re looking for a quality date night restaurant give this one a shot.
Excellent service and food. Not your typical Italian menu but does have some favorites if you're not adventurous. We had an excellent starter of octopus which was as tender and flavorful as it could be. The clams pasta with white sauce was loaded with clams, both in the shell and some extra thrown in. Risotto with beef short rib was excellent as well. Only downside was the wine list which was just over the top expensive in my opinion. Still worth 5 stars for the food.
Update 3/5/2017 - Fiamma is better than ever. Service is more efficient and friendly than our first visit, food certainly seems better if that is possible. Expensive but worth it.
Excellent service, delicious food and great cocktails. One of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas!
I love Italian food and FiAMMA really exceeded my expectations very authentic dishes.... I also like to mention the great magnificent location ...
Think of it as visiting Italy inside the MGM GRAND in Las Vegas
Amazing food, great service. I highly recommend this place if you like Italian food. You won't be disappointed.
From the cocktail to dessert, everything we had was incredible! The short rib ravioli dish and branzino were to die for!
My boyfriend and I came here for a tasty meal after reading convincing Yelp reviews and based on the fact this place wasn't 5 miles away. Everything we had here was amazing. We ordered the calamari, he had some sort of bean veggie soup, I had the gnocchi and he had the agnolotti pasta. Everything was seriously amazing.
As if the food wasn't good enough, the waiter service was amazing. We were spoiled because we were celebrating our anniversary. Free champagne, free chocolate tarte, and my waiter even gave me a free espresso. Gabriel was awesome. Yosef was a sweetheart, and the blond water boy was quiet but nice. Also, they're all pretty attractive which is another bonus.
The food came out promptly, tasted delicious, and the waiter service was timely but not too much. We really had an amazing time.
Expensive fine dining. Great service. Amazing bread, pasta and filet
One of our favorite places. Great service and excellent food (Lobster Gnocchi and Beef Short Rib Rissoto). We finished up with Creme Brulee and coffee.
Amazing. If I had to choose one word for this restaurant, AMAZING! Me and three of my guests came here last minute and it was one of the best decisions we have made. Wasn't any wait and the staff is very pleasant and very knowledgeable. More
We had reservations at the restaurant as we were a large party and celebrating my sister's birthday. When we arrived, we were still waiting on a few from our party. We were made to wait outside despite the fact the restaurant was completely empty. When we asked if we could sit down, we were told that they were preparing our table. Like they didn't know we were coming based on our reservations??!! When we asked again if the table was ready, the hostess acted like it was very inconvenient to sit us. Regardless, they did take us to our table. It took forever for the waiters to take our food order and only did so when we provoked by us. Before anyone did order, we said we needed it split on several checks and were told they could deal with that later. In the meantime, we had to ask several times for more water, butter, etc. We waited forever for our food and when it finally did come it wasn't very hot. At one point, we even asked the waiter where our food was since a few of us had a 9pm show to catch and was told we would have plenty of time. (they ended up barely making the show). Their menu had several dishes that stated it contained pine nuts. Since I am allergic, I chose an entree that didn't say it had pine nuts in it. However a few bites in I felt sick, so I asked the waiter about my dish. His response was very rudely that it contained pesto. I had no idea pesto could contain pine nuts (but doesn't have to as it is something you make!) and the waiter acted like I was an idiot for not knowing that. The hotel did get me medical attention with EMTs almost immediately and I was fine. Since then, I have been told they are in the process of changing the menu to indicate any dish that contains nuts. Since I was getting medical attention, I wasn't there for the rest of the meal. But was told it was quite unpleasant and the waiters made a huge deal about splitting up the bill, even though we told them at the beginning. All in all, I can say that I will never eat there again or recommend it to anyone!
I think I expected too much. It's a nice restaurant..
Not my normal type of spot but it was definitely a very very nice place to eat!
Steak is phenomenal, service is spectacular, ombiaunce is perfect. Highly recommended for an Italian eats
Horrible service! Worst restaurant we visited in Vegas. Many of the reviews talk about how slow the service was, however; ours was the opposite. We asked for a seat on 9/25/2017 at 9:15pm. The host said he could fit us in at 9:45pm (15mins before they close). When it was time to be seated it was another hostess who sat us. We asked her if it was okay since it was so close to closing. She assured us it was okay, because we were prepared to leave if it was an issue. She pulled out the chair for my wife, placed the napkin in her lap and handed me the wine menu. Our problems all stemmed from our server, Johnathon.
Here s the list:
- Before saying hello or anything, he said the kitchen is about to close
- he never told us the specials
- he only recommended food that it would take the kitchen a few minutes to make
- he rushed our food order
- he interrupted our conversation multiple times even after we told him that he was being rude
- when the food came he tried clearing our plates and sending the bus boy over multiple times while we were still eating
- he brought the check while we were still eating
- he asked us about dessert while we were still eating
- and he hovered behind us while we paid the check so he could take it away seconds after I put down the pen.
This type of service is fine for an airport if I m trying to catch a flight but not an OpenTable restaurant in a resort hotel and casino. We were the last ones seated, but 8 tables were still there when we left. Didn t bother complaining to the manager because the meal was already comped by MGM because of construction noise. Although, I ve literally had better service at Chick-fil-A. The two stars are only because the food was okay and the hostess did an excellent job seating us. The rest of the service is severely lacking though.
Solid service. Great food. Would post more but typing on phone sucks.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I do not understand why??? If you have an empty establishment, you are asked to WAIT OUTSIDE for 10 minutes and are told the bar is NO LONGER TAKING CUSTOMERS!!! Keep your empty stuck up place to yourself!!!
We've been dining here for years whenever we visit Las Vegas. They never disappoint. We've actually dined here for our anniversary 3x the past decade. This last visit was as great as any. I love calamari and theirs was really good. While I've only discovered cioppino the last few years, FiAMMA's version has absolutely been the best I've ever had. Their cioppino will be the standard I'll measure others against. My daughter loves pasta like most 12 year olds we know but she said this place had the best pasta she's ever had. We can't wait to dine here again on our next Las Vegas trip.
Service was brisk, food was as advertised. Had the linguini with Clams which was perfectly balanced with clams pasta and sauce.
Great Restaurant! I dropped in to this restaurant on my way to see Brad Garret at the comedy club. They sat me at a nice high top by the glass enclosed fireplace-very comfortable! I wasn't too hungry so i had a delicious grilled octopus dish that was perfect-I will go back and have this dish next time Im in Vegas. I also enjoyed a fresh mozzarella and tomato salad that was equally great. The service was also friendly and attentive.
The service was great, everyone made sure we were taken care of. The food and drinks were amazing, I can't wait to go back!!
The service is superb. The environment is relaxing. The food is excellent. The price is not cheap but reasonable.
After 10 days of American food it was our salvation. Excellent local, excellent staff and excellent quality food. A true Italian restaurant in Las Vegas.
My girlfriend and I went to Fiamma Trattoria and the food was wonderful!! Although the service was absolutely horrible. We had "Jose" as our server, so make sure do not get him. I had to yell at him everytime I needed something, he wouldn't just come up and ask if everything was going good....
Excellent steak, and good service. Would recommend for a casual meal
Great Italian food all over. Fast service. Risotto and lobster gnocchi was my favorite.
Service was amazing. Considering it is located at a 5-star-hotel, it is not pricey. Food was great but could be better. Had the lobster gnocchi and ciopinno. Ciopinno tasted amazing. Gnocchi was a bit salty. Also had a cocktail (dragon berry daiquiri), it was also average.
The place isn't the greatest but very reasonable price, good customer service, good food.
Food is delicious and they have a wide range of cocktails.
Absolutely delicious. Excellent service. Creative menu. Wonderful drinks and wine menu.
Nothing special, less better than Olive Garden, Mon Ami Gabi and Limani are best choices!
My mother can almost never eat in Italian restaurants because of a black pepper allergy. She was initially disheartened upon learning that 90% of the sauces and dishes on the menu contained the offending stuff. Enter Enrique, the executive sous-chef at Fiamma, who came to our table to hash out the details. For the first time in years, mom was able to have spaghetti and tomato sauce with grilled chicken for dinner, made for her from scratch with no black pepper. On top of being accomodating and kind, the servers and chefs gave my mother something she hasn t had in a while: a good plate of pasta! We both enjoyed our meals immensely.
We love the food, we love our waiter Fabricio, all his suggestions where all perfect! You should ask for him in you next visit.
Bad service, bad food, not worth it.
First they try to give us a bad table even though the place is almost empty and then have an attitude when we ask for another table. They don't even move our water and drinks for us.
Second, their "famous" spaghetti and meatball is very much like Chef Boy-Ar-Dee in a can
Third, my wife's salad was suppose to have goat cheese and walnuts but you would have needed a bloodhound to search them out
Fourth, service is slow and surly
Fifth, Overpriced to boot!!
People say Vegas has improved in culinary style but you can't tell by this place
Find another place to eat and drink - there are plenty of choices
The Smiths
Great Italian food, nice portion size, friendly and prompt service, great selection of wines, priced right, and all very reasonable prices for Las Vegas. For dessert try the Orange Caramel Semifreddo, a special dessert (it will surprise you), for a special meal.
Absolutely fantastic! Best meal and service I have experienced. Go here!!
My wife and I really like this place. The environment is laid back lounge, and the Italian food is solid.
Food was okay. service was horrible. it really ruined our day. i do not remember the name of our server but she was middle-aged, spiky blond hair, and kinda fat. Make sure you don't get her as your server. at one point we wanted to confirm our order (because she didnt) when we asked her to do so she got annoyed and actually rolled her eyes. it was so surreal that she even did that. i guess we would never know what was her problem that night. And you might think by now that we were being rude or something. NOT! Think about it. We were there to have fun and excited as heck. Why would we be rude to anybody and potentially ruin our day/trip? no way. but she ruined it for us. i would never go back to this restaurant. ever.
If you are going to Las Vegas and like Italian food THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO TO.
Ask for Josip (BEST SERVER EVER) he was on the top of every detail of our night.
Having dinner on Christmas Eve out is always crazy but this was a GREAT experience.
The Raviolini was unbelievable tasty and delicious.
The Risotto was on point.
The prices are reasonable and the amazing service worth it.
Fiamma is one of my favorite Vegas restaurants - I try to go with every visit. I know it sounds simple, but they serve the perfect caprese salad. I have always enjoyed every meal that I have had there, they are always considerate if you have any plans after to make sure you are on time. The somm's are incredibly knowledgeable. The people watching is pretty good too if you catch an earlier dinner and see folks leaving wet republic :) The pic is of a peaches and cream dessert I enjoyed on my last visit - unique and delicious.
Nice interior, food was pretty good. The European-style cuisine works well when you want a break from Las Vegas American food.
Decent food, but one can't help feeling like you're on a conveyor belt.
So classy but extremely laid back. The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back. The menu selection was also fabulous.
We visited FiAMMA while staying at MGM for a conference. The restaurant has an impressive by the glass wine list, and a number of specialty cocktails. I had the Raviolini, which were delicious. A side of sauteed spinach was good, perhaps a bit salty but flavorful. My companions had the cioppino, the ribeye, the risotto, and the cacio e pepe, all of which were reportedly delicious. Service was prompt and attentive.
Absolutely divine food, romantic ambiance and wonderful service from Dallas, who has been there for 13 years. Just let her choose for you if you dont know what you want! The raviolini is exceptional as well as the pear gorgonzola salad and chocolate bread pudding. Beautiful presentation as well. If I lived in Vegas I'd go to this restaurant weekly. Highly recommend!
A-plus for the service and extra consideration we got from the waitress for our kids.
Amazing food, fantastic service and the most friendly employees
Very good food. Great presentation. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff.
Probably one of the top 5 culinary experiences of my life. Sitting next to a warm fire at a high top that we didn't have to wait for, we decided to do the $57 deal and get a dessert. So glad we did, check out the pics. With everything from the handmade pasta, the fresh meats, and the delicate cocktails and wine, we were just blown away. It was a special night I'll never forget and I wish we could have tipped our waiter more. He was so kind and patient with us. Will be back next time we are in Vegas.
The short rib ravolini is to die for!! And don't forget the tiramisu...a tasty work of art!!
Too expensive if compared with it offers. Don't go there.
Great atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, excellent wine. Food is good, but overpriced for the quality.
My godfather (and amazing mentor) treated myself and my friend DeVille to a wonderful dinner here at FiAmma Trattoria. I enjoyed a lovely spaghetti with marinara. Such was my delight that I asked our expert server Frank where the pasta was sourced. He graciously informed me that it was produced in house. I was both amazed and immediately disappointed that I could not purchase the pasta to take home! If you are lucky enough to benefit from the company of a mentor and father figure like I do, I would implore you to ask him to bring you here. You will be astonished at the quality.
Service was terrific. The beef tenderloin steak I had was fabulous. However the disappointment I had was the calamari was very chewy and Bland. Probably one of the worst dishes of calamari I've ever had. We were not asked why we didn't eat it nor did they offer to remove it from our bill. Just not Standard Restaurant etiquette that I'm used to. Perhaps I should have raised a bit of a fuss. I don't know. Just expected a little bit more from high-end restaurant
Nice place for a special meal. It was very up scale and the food was very high quality. I had the shrimp pasta in pesto sauce which was very good.
I was there, a great drudgery, food and service, especially Mr Josip from Croatia.
Very good Italian food. We did a private party which is family style. The only gripe was it was way too much food! Like enough for 5 more people that we had included for.
Fun, modern decorated, high end Italian restaurant with great food. The experience is what gets it dinged on stars.
We recommend making reservations as it filled up quick and people were waiting a while for a table. We were seated without much issue, but we had a reservation.
Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I don't know if it was him being overwhelmed with tables or what, but the service was quite slow.
The bread and salads were good. The orange spread for the bread is very tasty. A must try!
I ordered a spicy pasta with tons of seafood entree. I can't remember the name, but it was very very good. Others at our table ordered lobster gnocchi, lasagna, and a truffle pasta. All were very good.
The issue I had was when the bill came. We were overcharged quite a bit on the two bottles of wine we ordered. I brought it to our servers attention and they had to go pull out a menu only to find that I was correct. I am glad it was resolved, but still amazed that this happened. The wine was marked up about 50% more than the menu price. I would think these prices would be set in the computer already?
Regardless, I am glad they corrected the bill.
It's a good restaurant if you are in the area, but I wouldn't necessarily seek it out.
So delicious beef. The vibe in the restaurant was nice and the service very good. We had a great conversation with a female staff. I do recommend this place which is part of the MGM voucher program.
Food was flavorless. Bread was cold, drinks were watered down. Service was irrelevant. Over proced. Not recommended.
Food was absolutely delicious! Only complaint is the cesear salad was nothing special. Waiter was super friendly and had some really good recommendations. The bread pudding is a must try
We went here for our anniversary. It was perfect! They gave us a cozy table in a corner. Server was very friendly, professional, and attentive. The food was amazing! We will definitely eat here again next time we are in Vegas!
Upscale restaurant with great food, drinks, service
I personally only know 2 things about Fiamma, that's because I've been here a dozen times and only order 2 things: the short rib ravioli and a glass of Barbera d'Asti. It's just amazing. Comforting, rich, savory.
We visited fiamma tonight for our last night in Vagas! David was our server and he was fabulous! After reading the reviews we were hesitant. This is a great restaurant with great service. The calamari with pepperoncini is amazing!!! Really enjoyed our dinner!
Delicious but rich for Japanese people. I was asked many times with a grater in one hand, "Do you want cheese from the top?"
Excellent atmosphere. Superb service and consistently good food.
The food here is terrific. We had the Lobster Gnocchi and the Ravioli. For dessert we had the Nutella Tiramisu. Food and especially the alcohol was a little over priced for what it was and the music was a little loud hence the four stars.
After KA, we eat at Italian in MGM hotel. Since it is the same floor, it can be moved in about 5 minutes. The meal was delicious as a whole, the service was good, especially pasta was delicious with the soup of seafood served!
If you have experienced real Italian food then Fiamma will disappoint you
Well cooked dishes of generic American food served by efficient and friendly staff
Food was good but not too there point of stunning. I've been to many of chef Michael Mina's restaurants and this is possibly the most low key one I've been to. Price was acceptable. But nothing in particular to be acclaim about. Service was also very good but nothing out of the ordinary. All in all solid.
Steak very good. Vegetables very good. Waiters attentive but don't bother you.
Joseph was exceptional and the food was over and above. The Caesar and Pear and Blue Cheese salads were very delicious. Main meal was the seafood pasta Cioppino. The sauce was so good that we ordered extra bread to mop it all up! We ll be back for sure!
