Convenient to have a cinema close to home. Reasonable price for tickets.

Have rated 3 stars as the chairs were really uncomfortable and there was no popcorn.

Come on, a cinema with no popcorn for sale!! That's like going to MacDonald and they don't sell burgers!!

Good small theatre. Sadly an extra, uncomfortable row of seats appears to have been added near the front meaning some of us paid the same as everyone else but get stuck with inferior seating.

Visited Festival Drayton Centre for the first time on Sunday 10 November 2019. The centre was hosting a Christmas fair that had been advertised on Google. We parked across the road in the Frogmore Road Car park ( which is pay and display but free on Sundays and Bank Holidays). There is a ramp as well as steps up to the entrance door on the right hand side of the building.

A small entrance area leads to a ticket booth on the righthandside with a modern cafe area beyond it.

A short corridor on the left hand side leads into the main hall with a raised stage area at the far end. Some the seating is raised on a collapsible framework which had been collapsed for the stalls to be placed in the hall.

The Festival Drayton Centre seems to be well used by the local community and it has a booklet describing productions, films and activities that are regular features of the centre.

Chairs aren't as comfortable as a traditional cinema and the sound system isn't as high quality but it's a friendly vibe and tickets are very cheap. Overall it's a solid alternative if you don't fancy going to an Odeon. They usually have a wider range of films too.

Classes This is a great place to meet local folk plus enjoy healthy food & drink ( often locally sourced).
The films shown regularly are book office hits. There are keep fit classes. The art gallery is both inside and in summer outside with a seated area.
This is the hub of the local community.
