Fenix were amazing. Best wedding food I have ever had. Lauren was efficient and very easy to work with. The whole thing was simple and our day was lovely

We had a good time at the wedding. Service was good, they had enough staff to look after the whole party. I love gnocchi in the sauce. Lamb for main was a bit tuff.
I also like the location of the reception with a lot of green scenery with view over the river. I have noticed the road though the window of the restaurant pretty late so this obviously wasn t an issue.

Attended a training evening here for work. The staff were super friendly and served promptly. The food was fantastic, some of the best lamb I've ever had.

Beautiful Venue. Easily accessible for all wedding flower setup by our team at Kellee Flowers Melbourne. Fenix supplies glass candles and many other decor to make the event truly special.

Given the toughest stretch Victorians have been through with our lockdown, you would think there would be a sense of understanding from Fenix Events in respect to weddings/functions. I understand there are no 'winners' here or that my wife and I's situation is unique, I'm sure a few couples endured the same treatment. However, due to having postponed our wedding twice in the year, we saw that the 3rd opportunity we just wanted to get married and begin our journey. Once informing Fenix of our decision, we were more than understanding to lose the $3000 deposit, however on top we were charged a $1000 'administration fee'. We organised the entire wedding up until the point we decided to officially cancel it, there was no administration work done with the organisation of the wedding from Fenix due to Victoria being at a standstill with COVID-19. We then even asked to meet us half way and reduce the 'administration fee' to $500. We were bluntly told no and if we did want to do that we would lose 80% of the full payment.

Disappointing taste to end on what's been an unprecedented tough year for everyone. Everyone who I have spoken to about the situation were quite disgusted with the final dealings. My now Wife and I were really looking forward to our wedding, cancelling was not an easy decision.

We had our wedding here in December 2019 and the service from start to finish was immaculate. Everyone was super attentive and accommodating to our needs ensuring we d have the perfect day - and we did! Amazing views of the Yarra especially in the evening as the sun sets. Thanks Fenix!

Haven't seen Fenix open for a while now but walked past this week and they were setting up for a wedding.

This place has stood the test of time. Quality has been consistent over the years

On the banks of the Yarra, Fenix has views of the river and surrounding greenery from the balconies on both levels of the function centre. Each level is self sufficient, the upper level being the largest, holding around 150 people with a dance floor. The lower level would only hold 100 or so with a small dance floor and band/DJ. Each level has a bright contemporary Decor and the curved wall of glass that is on one side of each room gives a bright and airy feel in daytime. Staff are friendly and professional, nothing seems to be too much trouble. The food I've had at several functions there is well above average wedding fare. Parking is available directly under the building, although you do have to pay.
