Nice food and great service from the staff. The pizza was especially good and a good view from the top floor.
This place the FFC is now closed on the corner of street 178 and street 1 or the other name Riverside No one's knows if it's going to be pulled down or turned into apartments Please remove FCC from your search engine .
I didn t stay in the hotel but am actually rating the bar. The view was pretty cool , the drinks were awesome , I tried one with chilli, pepper and passion fruit and I really liked it. The peanuts they give you are very good . The food was also good
Been visiting FCC for years. Good service, expensive but food always well presented and tasty. Beer cold wine good. Young staff friendly but at times overworked. Cost of accommodation is outrageous but if you can afford it why not!
Did not hate the place. It is a pleasant, overpriced place for a drink, centrally located.
Iconic destination with great terrace. On this visit after an absence of many years, I found the same great ambiance. I have no experience with the hotel, but the bar is great. Recommended for at least a one time drink.
I recommed not to order dragonfruit lassie...overpriced and bad quality
Good: very good location of restaurant. nice terassa. Bad: 3 ordered dished. 2/3 of them not tasty at all, done so bad!... 1/3 dish was good. Waiters: good, well trained and take care of customers very well I will newer go to this FCC to eat anuthing, only if to dring something.
We have got a large room. Comfortable bedding, Clean bathroom, looking forward to a good drink at the bar and breakfast tomorrow morning
Best view of mekong river in Phnom Penh from the Terrace bar. Good and inexpensive food and drinks
I loved the location of the cafe. Cool live acoustic music and pleasant breeze of you are sitting at the terrace. Good food too.
The FCC has this amazing building and view, but I no longer care to participate in the illusion of what it used to be. I want the FCC to stop relying on their historic reputation and try harder! Anyone who gives the FCC more than a single star in the last year cannot be trusted to know how many other establishments in town are offering excellent food and service that far surpass what is offered at the FCC. The FCC is by far one of the worst restaurants in town! The food is about as trustworthy as a frozen pre-made tin diner that's been plated well to disguise its substandard quality. Go ahead and take a picture of your $6 cocktail, but don't expect it to taste good. I really hope the FCC can step it up, the current situation is embarrassing.
A place to feel history. The imported beef steak was delicious.
Great river views, easy riverside access, on the expensive side though
Nice place with a long history, but it does not really feel "historical" when you are there... Had the stake, probably the best stake I've had in Phnom Penh...
Always pop in when in town. Excellent, food is second to none. Looking forward to returning.
High quality hotel and restaurant! Good view of Riverside. Have Skybar!
Beautiful buidling, lovely food and well worth a visit.
The FCC is formed a part of Cambodia recent history. Nice view looking out over Tonle Sap and the Riverside. I always enjoy a nice lunch here. Food good and friendly staff.
Great place for tourists, kinda pricey for locals. Overall good selection of food and cocktails.
Nice bar in the centre of Phnom Penh. It's a bit more expensive than the surrounding pubs but you get a great sense of its history when you are there. Good views over the river too
Elegant colonial-style bar with beautiful views over the Mekong River.Choose a book and enjoy
historic place along the Tonle Sap river (at the point where it meets the Mekong), near the Royal Palace. it was the headquarters of foreign war correspondents. inside the colonial building with its terraces, the rooms open abroad, you can still breathe an atmosphere of times gone by. during happy hour you pay a beer and if you drink two.
Nice place for drinks and a snack, with great river view.
There is an atmosphere of other times, a nice colonial-style restaurant. I recommend sipping a cocktail (there are excellent ones) leaning on the parapet overlooking the river!
You have to go for the view of the Tonle Sab and the atmosphere
A great place to have a beer and overlook the river from the terrace bar. Quite busy though and some of the less fragrant street smells made their way up to where we sat. Good for a quick drink but wouldn't spend the night there.
High end bar and restaurant. I love the view from the Roof Terrace. If you stand in the corner, you can see the confluence of the Tonle Sap river (nearest), behind that, the Mekong river and if you look right, you can just see the Bassac river. Go between 5pm and 7pm for happy hour beers ($1.75). Many other places offer $0.50 happy hour, but it's worth paying extra for the view, the stylish and iconic place.
Fabulous pizza and cold beer...a good spot to relax after a hot day.
Excellent location and the rooms are clean and big. Very decent value for money. The breakfast is also awesome. Go to the terrace bar for some sun downers. The bar and restaurant staff could be less grumpy though!
The well known restaurant for western, it is good location and near Royal Palace.
Typical tourist restaurant/bar. Great location and decor, but pricey.
Stopped in and had a sprite.$2.60 us. So I went else where for dinner. Conclusion go once and Don,t go back.
Great location cozy atmosphere. Sometimes life bands and happy hour
Good view of the river, historical place, mediocre drinks
Good restaurant little local food but impeccable service and good value for money
Excellent view and location, though a bit pricey, the food is good and the service great.
Great vibe. Breezy River views. Nice service. Good place to gather. Bar next door was kind of loud
Historic but overpriced and sloppy service. A good view from the balcony but the same view in dozens of other places.
FCC, why are you using the wrong name for the place?!
We just visited the restaurant/bar on the 2nd floor. Absolutely brilliant views over the river at sunset, lovely atmosphere and decor, friendly staff, and delicious food and drink. Also: lots of friendly cats!! We loved it!
The FCC is a historic institution, with a great view over the river and an incredible history. For first time visitors it is well worth spending a little more here to go and have a cocktail as the sun sets. However, in recent years the gentleman's club atmosphere had been suggested by expanding the restaurant, and while there is an extensive menu of both western and Asian foods, better can be found elsewhere in the city.
Expensive as hell... The price DON'T include VAT and service and without it, it is already crazy prices...
Great location for a nice day to enjoy a drink, good food and nice views. Walk off your meal after with a walk along the waterfront promenade.
Best place to have a sweet dinner on the rooftop with the river view & music band!
During our trip in Cambodja we stayed at several hotells and this was compared to the other a very good hotel but also a bit more expensive. The location are great with a view over the Tonle SAP River. If you are to take the Ferry to Siem Reap this is a good Hotel to stay at. The drinks and the food are good and the view nice from the restaurant.
Pretty poor. Looks in a state of disrepair. Prices very high and tax has to be added separately. Slow service. Has definitely seen better days. A shame as it used to be nice. The tuk tuks outside asking outrageous prices and trying to sell me drugs and women do not help at all either. There are many more nice places around.
Western food was ok, my fish and chips lacked all the proper condiments... tartar sauce was dry and chips missed the catsup. The Cheesecake was good.
Great to be sitting in the FCC such an Iconic building. I m sure we could still hear the sound of the typewriter keys banging away reporting those bygone stories!! Great cocktails and a great view over the river.
Bar and restaurant in the 2nd floor with a nice view on the Mekong river. It is like a covered terrace so you are protected from the sun and rain but still have a lot of air. A little expensive compared with what you can find elsewhere in Phnom Penh, but a very nice atmosphere and I really liked their fruit shake.
Wonderful atmosphere. Go at sunset for a cocktail or glass of wine and imagine you've been transported to a bygone era. Lovely.
Great view, but very expensive drinks. There's a bar directly across the street that is 75% cheaper and higher..so has better view too...
The view and sea breeze on 3rd floor made the steak meal and cocktails a delightful experience where expats and locals meet
Eat pizza, have a drink watching the Mekong river, go to another place happy to have visited history. There are better places but this has the legacy.
Full of history and good view over the river. Selection and quality of food and drinks amazing for the price they charge. Waiting staff very interesting to talk to. Some may have seen enough of the country's history.
A long-established tea house ... a place to remember the history of Mekong
Good view of Mekong. We always stop in when in Phnom Penh
Interesting for those interested in the Khmer Rouge.
The view and food in the restaurant were nice. Staying the hotel was quite noisy.
Restaurant in good location and views over Mekong river. Well decorated and with authentic civil war photos. Food very good but at European prices.
The environnement is impressive ,the food is delicious !
