Stunning. We stayed late in the season and have a very quiet experience. World class food and service combined with an architecturally designed and landscaped property make for a highly enjoyable stay.

Amazing experience, a true architectural gem. Understated luxury, very intimate (<20 rooms). We had the sea view room upstairs in the iconic blue house with a large balcony (#6), it was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel to design and architecture lovers. Staff was very attentive and showered us with nice attentions (welcome gift, free ice cream, free short massage....). Plenty of activities at the hotel and at the sailing club next door. I only wish we could have stayed longer! I will recommend this place to my friends and family and hope to come back one day.

A lovely and relaxing place to stay. It was really good that they have global sustainability credentials. The spa is a real treat and the adjoining sailing club a great place for lunch or evening cocktails. If you re staying in Kep, this is the place to stay!

A well maintained and clean retreat at the seafront. Beautifull garden. Friendly english speaking staff. Visited spa and The Strand for dinner and Sailing club for lunch. Will be back in all and can recommend.

Excellent Boutique Hotel with a very unique & special flair. Lovely team - everyone is very friendly and helpful. The Strand Restaurant on site offers outstanding dishes - absolutely recommended. Just 5 walking minutes from the Crab Market. The hotel's Sailing Club offers a wide range of activities on land and in the water. Seafront location with great views of the sunset.

Any place without a bum gun in Cambodia fails to impress me anymore.
Other thing that didn't impress is all the SUVs sitting on the other side of this 'eco' resorts gate sitting idling waiting for their rides to come out.

This is my fourth stay in Knai Bang Chart in a span of five years and also I can say.is that they keep getting better every time! Aside from the beautiful, minimally designed aesthetics of the resort and its rooms, the warm service and the good food, it's really the quiet, laidback spirit of the place that shines. We always find ourselves rejuvenated even after just spending a night here.

See you soon again, KBC!

Knai Bang Chatt was a lovely, relaxing start to our Cambodia holiday. Set in beautiful grounds on the seafront. Great service, Great food, Nice rooms, good views and right next to The Sailing Club restaurant and bar where we had some of the best food of our trip.

It would be difficult not to appreciate this place. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are very well equipped. The bed is original. Every evening, the chef drops you in your room of sweet treats. The pool is very nice with sea views. The restaurant is very good, with a simple and attractive menu, and reasonable prices for an upscale place. It is a haven of peace, where everything is done to satisfy you. We love !

This resort is the perfect place to relax, tan, eat, swim and so much more! They have an infinity pool, a sea, a movie/game room, a restaurant, a spa and great views. The staff are extraordinarily friendly. They're also extremely eco friendly which promotes responsible tourism.

The one downside is that there's no beach or sands to lay on.

Nice room (we had the top floor suite) with great views. Staff very nice. Restaurant was disappointing - very expensive and when we had a bad dish (solid curdled pannacotta) , they sent the chef to argue rather than try to make good and we were still charged. Also no real lounge about comfy seating by the bar in bad weather leaving only you room to retreat to. Felt it should be a lot better for the price.

We come to Kep often and have had lunch and dinner here before. The 1960s architecture and the location are beautiful, food is good but staying here was a complete letdown. Most rooms are overlooked, very little privacy, room 16 was a huge disappointment: dark (blinds to the front have to be down if you dont want people to look in), no hot water because the family above us had used it up, rickety fixtures, grotty toilet brush. If we had had to pay full price, we would have been devastated. The price sets the expectation. At $45 I would not comment. 5* this is not. We moved out after 2 days. Resort gets madly busy over the weekend.

Really nice place but the bed left us with back pain. Also some amnistie need to be change for new one.
We just paid 109$ per night so really worth it especially with the breakfast that you don't want to miss.
But don't expect a five stars hotel and full price I wouldn't have put the same review honestly. Still really happy about our stay for the price we paid!

Beautiful views. Lots of designery touches. All you would expect. My only quibble is thst,as I found to my cost, there is no light to show the way in the dark and very easy to inadvertently walk into the swimming pool even with a fairly dim torch?

Beautiful location and a stunning pool. However, this is sadly far from a 5-star experience. Our room was tired and more like a 3-star lodge. Service at breakfast was appalling - 20 minutes for the table to be cleaned after previous guests; 30 minutes for a coffee and almost 40 minutes for a cold pancake to be served. Very disappointed - this resort could be amazing, but the service and lack of room renovation leaves a lot to be desired. Spend your hard-earned cash elsewhere! I'd love to post a photo of the mould in the bathroom, but Google won't let me :-(

One of my top list accommodation in Kep.

One of my top list accommodation in Kep.
Great hospitality with friendly staff plus offering discount spa and large swimming pool close to the beach.. feeling green and fresh. For the breakfast, they have quite lots of choice including Asia and Western dish.
There are more to enjoy such as lunch dinner and drink

The worst place in town. Had a steak and it was not good. I ask for a medium rare steak. It was overcooked. The quality of the meat was very low. Staff was very arrogant. A place to avoid. Too bad. The place is very beautiful.

Great place. I recommend drinking wine and eating in the neighboring Sailing club and Lounge Bar, and of course crabs on the market, as in the restaurant at the hotel Strand the wine is expensive and about nothing.

One of the best resorts on the coast!

One of the best resorts on the coast!
The resort is a wonderful escape from Cambodia main cities madness. Tranquil, serene & magic atmosphere. Loved breakfast sharing big table with other guest or you could stay on your own at smaller tables. Food was delicious. Would definitely organize a visit to the island by yourself as you can find boats that are very cheap

Very small rooms, also too closely located in relation to each other. If the hotel is fully, or even close to fully, booked what should have been a "memorable and rejuvenating experience" (as the brochures say) will be totally lost on you. When we were there, one family of 19 people staying in four rooms ruined the experience completely. They even brought in food and drinks from the outside and had a larger, and quite loud, pick-nick just in front of the pool. In short, KBC looks amazing on the surface, and the location is great, but the property is way too small thus leading to a feeling of having people in your lap all the time.
The only, only, advantage is the close proximity to Sailing Club, but then again, you can take a tuk-tuk there from any part of Kep.

Extraordinary place in Kep. Calm and relaxing. Their food is well presented and their breakfast buffet has blue cheese and delicious ham. You can see the ocean from the swimming pool. You can enjoy brandy in the library.
