Fayetteville Athletic Club Review

I've been a member here off and on since its inception. I love this place. I had quit a few years ago since I didn't have the time to take advantage of all the amenities. However, now that I'm semi-retired, I'm enjoying my workouts, the pool, and the locker room sauna/steam room/whirlpool tub. I'm looking forward to starting some of the classes real soon as well. You know it's a good place when you leave for a few years, come back, and see the same faces there (both working out and staff).

Best gym in Fayetteville! Was in town for a couple months this winter while training for the Olympic Trials Marathon and got a membership here for my time in Fayetteville. The gym has everything I needed for training, including top of the line equipment and locker rooms, and close to running trails around lake Fayetteville. Will certainly renew my membership if I'm back in the area in the future

Just got my first ever gym membership and there's only one gym I wanted to be a member of: FAC! Great facilities, friendly staff, and fitness activities for everyone! Highly recommend!

When I first started, I thought FAC was great. However... as with any relationship, the flaws start to show over time. The equipment is getting quite dated (who still uses iPod chargers?!?), as is the facility (the tiles are coming off in the men's spa, and the place just looks and smells old).

Despite the age, however, they are still charging premium prices --and I just can't justify $80.00 a month for something I can get for much less elsewhere.

The final straw was when I went to freeze my account to try and save a few bucks for the holidays, and they charged me an extra month saying I notified them after the 20th. Fine... enjoy the $80, FAC --because it's the last you'll be getting from me. Ever. I'm canceling my membership and finding some place new.

It s a holiday weekend and the pool is busier than it s been all week. When I arrived at 2 pm the smallest kiddie pool had a pool closed sign placed in front of it. I went to the front desk to check on the situation and see why it was closed because my baby kept trying to get in it. The manager said that there was a poop accident from a baby earlier in the day and that someone is on the way to clean it. Checked back about an hour and a half later and the manager said I haven t been able to get the maintenance guy to text me back all day. So her story changed... first she told me he was on his way and now she says she hasn t been able to get in touch with him all day. No offer to call the owner or a plan to remedy the problem. Three hours later and the sign is still there and baby poop is still in the pool. Not one bit impressed.

They kicked my husband out after he got sucker punched in the face during a basketball game. We were extremely stunned and disappointed with how they handled the situation. What a confusing message to send to members. We have enjoyed FAC for over 3 years, especially the wonderful women who have watched our son. But a few ownership issues, culminating in them kicking out my husband for an invalid reason will keep me from ever recommending this gym. Their behavior was unacceptable.

The FAC provides the most amenities of anywhere in NWA (I've been to them all). It provides all of the same amenities a Life Time fitness for example would offer, but the facility is older and has more of a country club feel. If you like community, fitness, and programming this one is no brainer.

Fantastic Club! I love the fact that they have full basketball gym and there are always other members who are playing pick up ball. They offer a lot of classes, so i never get board! And the pool during the summer is amazing, Food and drinks served, it s the best gym in NWA.

Have been trying to cancel membership for two months. We have been told one particular person has to call us back, they have not, and continue to charge our bank account.

Great place! This is by far the best family friendly gym in Northwest Arkansas!

Every time I come back home, I always go to FAC to play basketball and I m always greeted with a smile every time I walk in.

The stringing service is really bad. They wont allow you to use their machines, and will do a poor job. Had two tennis rackets restrung and both had problems with some visibly loose sections.

FAC has been a real landmark in our community for over 17 years! There truly is something for every age group in the family. I'm a huge group fitness fan and love the fact that I have over 100 classes to choose from each week. With that variety, I have no excuse not to work out... :)

If you're looking for a gym they're all over town. If you're looking for an authentic fitness experience FAC is where you need to get a membership. There's something for every athletic need or ambition at FAC. There's highly qualified trainers if that's what you want. If you like your exercise independence and prefer to go solo no one will push you by trying to sell you something you don't want. If you get bored easily there's an incredible variety of equipment and fitness programs FAC. If you just want to chill out, get so me time or take a break from you kids you can do that at FAC. You'll have to put in the effort but you have everything at FAC to help you transform yourself if that's what you want. If you choose you can also meet some wonderful people and make some new friends. They have a great staff so if you ask nice Kevin, Blake or Travis might even throw in a free towel for you to use after your workout!

Awesome club! FAC is the best all around athletic club in Northwest Arkansas. For not much more than an average gym membership you get access to a top notch facility. They also have great programs for kids.

Nice place and courteous staff but too expensive and I wish they would have a pool only membership. In summer the pool is outside! The other facilities are also quite decent. ANd they have lots of classes for the social types.

I love the Fayetteville Athletic Club. Every time I'm in town visiting I always work out and play basketball at the gym. Amazing facility with even better equipment.

This is definitely a family gym, I have been going here my whole life and I feel like it s a second home! Definitely a place I have been able to feel safe and workout in! The staff are great and the facilities are pristine. It s definitely a place I have made countless friends and workout partners as well as gotten the motivation to live a healthy lifestyle! I wouldn t imagine going to another gym!

Stopped in to Push Pedal Pull in Fayetteville athletic club to see about getting some equipment from my home. Was a great experience, staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. They'll work with your budget, can make payments! Highly recommend stopping in and checking them out if your in the market for some home equipment!!

Have always felt awesome while exercising
Plus the hot tub and steam room are above and beyond
Only issue is minor that towels are left on floor in men's locker room

FAC is the best Athletic Club in Fayetteville, AR. The staff is professional and friendly, and they truly care about their membership. The club has been around for a long time, but the ownership is constantly reinvesting and improving both the equipment and the facilities. The friendly faces and friendly staff make this gym feel like a second home to their members! I would highly recommend!

I have been utilizing this facility for over a month now. I love the fact that you don't feel intimidated, in fact, its quite the contrary. The staff here go out of their way to make you feel welcome and educated on all of their equipment. I couldn't be more pleased, 5 stars is a no brainer! I tell everyone I know about this place and make sure to "check in" on Facebook everyday I'm there (6 days a week). My only suggestion would be to open as little earlier on the weekends, just an hour earlier on Saturday would allow me to come 7 days a week. Thank you for providing a clean, welcoming, experience. I can't wait to see what the next year brings working out with you guys!

I am a long time member of FAC. The reasons I will continue go go there are simple. First rate staff and the child care are amazing. I dont have to worry about my wife and children's safety in the gym or on the property when they going there. The facility is a well kept place with first rate modern equipment that my entire family feels at home at.

FAC is incredible. Professional staff, great equipment, great clientele and squeaky clean facilities.

I ve been a few days ago talking with the coaches (I am as well, working in Sweden now) and they are great. Facilities are fantastic.

Fayetteville Athletic Club is such a great establishment. I have gotten the privilege to play on their courts and use the tennis facilities mainly. They were very welcoming and made the transition from my other tennis academy to this one very smooth! Love all the coaches and members that I have gotten to know as a college student! Fun environment and like I said before the community of people are outstanding .

Love it here! The staff is great, we have worked with them on numerous projects, always friendly and helpful. A few of our staff work out here s well. It's a great gym, lots to offer! Plus it's summer time and the pool is open, and amazing!

The best family pool experience in NWA! Our family have been members at FAC for many years, and summer after summer we keep coming back to the pool area for many reasons. Whether you have elementary-and-up kids looking for water slides, young children needing to get acclimated to water, grown-ups looking to get laps in at the lap pool, or just a chill place to kick back and relax, FAC has you covered. I personally love the outside covered areas for us grown-ups looking for shade while the kiddos get plenty of swimming in. Thanks for everything FAC, and we'll definitely continue to be back year after year!

Friendly staff, very clean, great equipment, great classes, swimming pool, tennis courts, racquetball courts and more! All around a GREAT gym to be a part of!

In my opinion its a nice older gym but charge 20 dollars for a day pass. 50 for 10 days..for someone who only goes with friends periodically its just not practical. The staff are nice tho and its a clean facility. Its really just the price thats the downfall. I mainly go for basketball and Idk what a month pass costs but you can definitely go to a few gyms that are more reasonable.

Our family of 4 quickly settled into FAC after we joined at the beginning of 2020. The friendly staff and members combined with the amenities FAC has to offer make it an exceptional place to be active and make friends along the way. We particularly enjoy the tennis facility and all the wonderful coaches and staff that are there every day to help you achieve your goals.
