Food was good but the service was poor. They brought out half of the food for a group of ten then... that was it! We had to ask where the rest was, hadn't even started cooking it.

Ridiculously high prices (e.g. 7.60 for a pint of Smithwick's)
Very friendly service. The place has a great menu with some classics and some more interesting dishes. The price is fair, considering the location. The food came out quick and was very delicious. We were seated upstairs, so while we could still hear the live music from downstairs, it was not cramped like many of the other pubs in the area.
Don't go here for the food - it is terrible.
Staff were very friendly and service was good. But the food was below average and the place was dead in the day. Would be ok for just a quick pint tho.
We had lunch and dinner here on our trip to Dublin. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed. We had the stone steak, fish and chips, Guinness pie. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Great staff and drinks. The food was good. Loved listening and singing along to the very talented musicians. Get there early and stay till close! I would make this my home bar if I moved to Dublin. I had an amazing time and look forward to returning to this pub. You are a fool for missing this place.
Went there for lunch. Decent food even if a bit pricey. Good and quick service. Lacks a bit in atmosphere.
Welcome, the waitress smiling and friendly and the excellent meat
Reasonable prices. Good beer. Nice staff. Iconic pub. What else do you need to know?
Restaurant room above the pub that allows you to eat quietly but enjoy the music. Correct and affordable meal
Nice place for a drink big beer section but food was not good chicken wraped in parma ham like rubber mash covered in a sloppy white sauce and no
Good atmosphere, expensive pints. Tho to be expected in Temple Bar.
Nice place to hangout with friends or to enjoy peaceful time with your date... Downstairs you have lovely live music, nice pub and amazing crowd ... Upstairs, there is restaurent like sitting arrangement, candle lit, calm and romantic ambiance... Food is amazing too... Just wish they had more options for vegetarians and of finger food.
Pricey but has a nice atmosphere with the live music at night
I found the best pub in Dublin ... band show pretty much hanging on the wall. Beers tops ... counter service very good.
Very busy pub with high prices. But what else do you expect from Temple Bar? It's good, has decent taps, and live musicians.
Horrible, sink didn't drain in my room, tv didn't work in my sister's. They let you know up front that it is noisy, but that's a huge understatement. Keep looking if your smart
Just a couple blocks away is still walking distance, but better hotels and less money. Around Trinity College is better.
Nice dishes, good taste, a lot of different beers and whisky
We came here because we were told they had a better beer selection than the rest of Temple Bar. In reality that just meant they had 12 macro taps instead or 6. I had my choice between Heineken or Carlsberg, Smithicks or O'Hara, but precisely 0 craft taps.
Staff was nice, but this is just another Temple Bar tourist trap. Which means that pints are 2 more expensive than the rest of Dublin ( 7.50 for mine), and you're going to be completely surrounded by tourists, plus one guy playing an Ed Sheeran cover on an accoustic guitar.
I'd recommend walking five minutes in literally any direction and go into any bar, which will offer better music, actual locals and cheaper beer.
Great bar with a fantastic beer selection. Live music on from early afternoon
Very cool atmosphere, good live music (for quinquas )
Geweldige pub, net iets rustiger dan de toeristische locaties
The staff were really friendly, and just before we left there was some nice love music starting which had a calm ambience. However baring in mind this pub is positioned in the middle of Temple Bar and the home of Guinness, you would think they would be able to pour one a bit better. Very expensive! A g&t can set you back nearly 10!
Great food, had a live singer there, he was worth spending some time to listen to. He has CD available for small donation, he has a great voice. Food was awesome, Great selection of beer and liquor. Most visit if your in Dublin.
Very comfortable atmosphere, great live music that was open to audience suggestions. Busy Saturday night but service was relatively quick.
Delicious food. Condition is very friendly. Less busy than in the Templebar.
Only visited the pub. Many local beers to discover. Atmosphere was great, supported by a local band. Well worth a visit.
Stopped off for a drink during trip round Dublin. I think it's a typical irish bar where folks can just have a laugh and be sociable.
Beautiful, historic, good, super-professional service. Not cheap.
Slap bang in the middle of Temple Bar, if I had to have a drink in the area this is probably the spot I'd go to. Less in your face touristy than the Temple Bar or Oliver St John, it's always busy. I've just read on the owners' blurb that they have a 'modern lounge' upstairs. I didn't know that have to have a look some time soon.
Restaurant to flee!
Unreliable !
Refused two nights in a row!
Despite a telephone reservation for 10 people and 15 minutes late: the cuisto was gone for 21:15, refusal and dismissal of the group. We stayed without eating!
It is close to Temple Bar. Pints 6.8 with lots of beers to choose from. More than 10 fencers. They have live music (at least Friday night) although this rather high, to communicate 4 people was difficult.
I ve had better Guinness elsewhere, which was likely due to the pour. I also thought it was a touch too touristy, the music wasn t Irish, etc. still, good atmosphere.
Live music, nice atmosphere and draught beer tasting trays.
Prices were expensive but we always got great service and the live music was amazing.
Our bartender was hilarious! Great food and drinks
Price quite high but the place is nice. A very large amount of different draft beers
One more stop on the pub route of the Temple Bar. Great variety of beers on tap.
Absolutely awesome pub with live music and nice drinks selection (especially very great beer selection: P)!
Horny bar in Dublin, where there is Murphy's Red !!! Rare !!!
Fantastic place. We stayed in the room upstairs, had dinner in the Other Place and many drinks in the pub listening to great music. The entire team were great!
It is very expensive grossly over priced rip off Ireland as usual
This food yum, I ate all the veggie food different days cause I just had to try them all. Alots of food, quick serve and the staff are always nice and helpfull. The entertainment was nice, different guys playing guitarr those days, songs we all know. It is not traditional irish but it felt like home a little. Try the veggie pasta!!
Nice bar for an evening with friends. Small concert as a bonus;) at the top
Year after year...this place delivers. It's a great place for young, mid, and old to hang for some great drinks and craic.
Just arrived in Dublin we went to this rather pretty restaurant the fish was one of the best we eat all this for a very good value for money very good do not hesitate
Food was brilliant. Fantastic atmosphere and live music.
A good pub, with a better restaurant on the first floor
Live music in a typical pub atmosphere. Not cheap prices
Terrible service. Very rude. The blonde waitress especially.
The restaurant is nice and the food is ok, but the evening was ruined by her behaviour.
Great location and really nice rooms.
Too bad, however, that they are not taken care of.
It rained inside us from the damaged skylight and the power outlets were not working.
Bad for the staff, kind and helpful
It's a shame that in this Dublin Bar, the owner is unable to serve Guinness Properly.
It just poured the glass without resting. Unbelievable.
Skip this bar. There are plenty of others with better service.
For dark dinner! The photo is taken with the light of the mobile
