It was my first time in Dublin and I choose The Norseman Hotel/Pub. Always be kind with me, nice barmens and barmaids, always smiling and they purpose some goods very tasty =).

All musicians are nice, good players.

I hope i can back again in this place soon. Happy Halloween =)

From a french longhaired guy ^^ who made 10 underbock challenge haha =)

Wonderful pub in the trendy district! A very Irish and nice pub. Downstairs with live music and party people and upstairs a great restaurant, kid friendly and very nice wait staff. Everything is right here and there is something for every wish and requirement. In addition, very clean!

Quite touristy (also in terms of prices), but good food. The choice on the menu was very good, since I don't often have that I really can't make a choice, because I see so many goodies! The men had chosen a pie, but were still hungry afterwards. The gravy (gravy) with the mashed potatoes was delicious, everyone enjoyed it! The baileys coffee, on the other hand, did not seem to contain any baileys and there was also no pecan in the pear & pecan pie. Nice that they had live music playing at the bar, only we were upstairs in the restaurant.

Must have gone there for drinks on a bad night. One of the bartenders talked down to my friend (who is a bartender as well) about her knowledge and choice of drink, plus one of the girls bussing tables had a snipe at our group for not helping her clear glasses when we were in the middle of a conversation and hadn't been paying attention. We were honestly so taken aback by the passive aggressiveness of it that we didn't really register what had happened until she left. It's a shame, because we had bought plenty of drinks and weren't causing trouble. Think we'll try other bars next time.

This place was close to our hotel and located at the beginning of Temple Bar. The service was mediocre at best, the server didn t speak much English which made things a little difficult and the food was barely average.

Good solid pub food. Steak on stone and clam chowder highly recommended. Good old fasioned interior for that cosy pub feeling. However many stools and rather tight constrained space on the onside.

A great pub with delicious drinks, great food and great live music. The mood in the evening is just fantastic. Only the prices for beer and cider are a bit more expensive with 7 than in most other locations

Came here to meet up with friends but wasn't very happy with the price of the drink. Had a two piece band on but not worth the price of the drink.Full of tourists paying over the odds. The bar ladies said she was sick of listening to people complaining about the price of the drink.

I believe it's the first pub in the world established in 1696, now it's call The Norseman, but the previous name was Farringston of Temple Bar.
It's a classic irish pub and you can get differents kind of beers and ales, good food, and live music all nights. Prices are good comparing with the quality you get.
If you are a pub fan, you have to visit it.

As an American, coming to Dublin and finding the best wing sauce I have ever had was not something I anticipated at all. However it was indeed the best wing sauce I had .The chicken and leek pie is incredible, great presentation, great crust, great filling and great gravy .Definitely the best food at a pub I have had so far and I have been coming here to Dublin for the past two years .
Will come back every time now.

Best place in Dublin!! We spend last weekend here and the Norseman was by far our favourite place!! Perfect location in the middle of temple bar, awesome staff (especially the barkeeper!!) huge selection of drinks, nice and cozy rooms - just perfect! We had so much fun there that we went to the pub every day of our trip :-D And we will definitely come back!! Thanks to the Norseman staff for this great experience!! Your "Hop House friends" from Salzburg!! :)

The most expensive pint in Dublin. Charged nearly 8 a drink. Had one round and left. Atmosphere was poor too of a Saturday. Maybe the cost of drink is driving business in Harcourt Street. Cheaper pints to be had there.
