Completely over priced. I live in Dublin. I went to Temple bar with family visiting. Prices here are at least 50% higher than pubs just outside of Temple Bar. By all means walk through Temple Bar but if you want to meet locals this is not the place. They were not at all friendly to us.

Based on Blogger's recommendation, they came and liked. The excellent steak on the stone when ripe for another was to be picked up and vegepiras myself also excellent. We liked and got good service! Thanks!
Just had a quick pint while waiting to go for dinner. Nice enough with live music (although not the best) but nothing special. Ok for a quick pint around temple bar.
1 star for the location. 1 for the live music. 3 blank stars to represent the 3 overpricing of the wine. Online wine menu is out of date. 7.50 advertised for a Shiraz turned out to be 10.90 because they apparently upgraded the wine list.
Stopped here for our first dinner in Ireland. Was very crowded on the main floor with live music. It was the exact atmosphere I expected in Ireland. They had room for dining upstairs where we could still hear the music, which was great! I had a Caesar salad (in need of some lettuce). I've never had such amazing Caesar dressing in my life! The dining room upstairs was very relaxing with great food and service. Definitely stop in.
I had dinner here with 5 other American co-workers. The live music was great and we stuck around for more drinks after our meal. The food was average, but the service was slow.
The food was quiet good and the waitresses were very friendly, even though the place was very crowded. Only the drinks were a bit more expensive than at other places. All in all a great place to eat!
Lovely pub in Temple Bar with really friendly staff. I went on a weekend so it was a bit crowded but there was live music and the food was delicious. I recommend the grilled salmon!
Really sweet little pub to stop by while passing through the Temple Bar area. Great staff and great vibes with the live music. Good food, good drinks, fair price.
High quality food and generous portions, a truly unique Irish pub. Uninterrupted live music until 11pm, you just have to choose a beer from the vast selection, sit back and enjoy the show. Friendly and courteous staff, they explain exactly all the dishes
Do not hesitate and especially enjoy Bill and Declan soooooooo freindly! Music +++, atmosphere will depend on what you bring there, prices like any Templebar
I had dinner with friends at Farringtons upstairs. I loved their interior and the food really good. It's located in the heart of Temple Bar and worth going there for a pint or full dinner.
My best friend and I (both female) and my boyfriend (male) went into this bar for a quick pint before our dinner reservations at Bunsen Burgers (where we were served several drinks by the way). My best friend and I got served our beer but the bar tender said that my boyfriend had too much drink in him to be served, even though he literally hadn t had a drink yet. It was so ridiculous but my friend and I tried to finish our drink and before we could they were kicking us out without reason or refund. Really put s bad taste in our mouth for the first day in Ireland. Needless to say don t go here and spend money!!
Had a sea food chowder it tasted ok but it was a cream fish soup had very little fish in it and thin wedges of brown bread I asked for more bread that had a cost of 3 Euro more the staff were pleasant but a sea food chowder should be a sea food chowder.
Keep in mind that this is a pub with rooms n not a hotel with a pub. Stayed in room nr 5, Wifi was soso. The pub was a typical Irish pub with live music 7/7. Friendly staff. Kinda loud from the street but we didn't mind. Recommend? For sure.
