Family Kingdom Review

We absolutely loved this place! All the staff was so friendly and helpful. The Price Point was good on everything Including the food. The kids had a blast! And we enjoyed everything from the rides to the food!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids! Your gonna have so much fun making memories together!

I love coming here! I always enjoy my time. The rides are perfect for because where I want some thrill I can't handle s lot so it gives me just enough. Plus the location is perfect! Its right across from Splashes, beach access, motor rentals and more!

The Family Kingdom is an average amusement part. Be prepared to come across a lot of stipulations when you arrive. When you purchase a wristband don't expect to get on every ride. You can't do the zipline. This is $8.00 cash. If you are a single passenger you can't ride the fairest wheel by yourself. You need two people to ride. The employee don't present an inviting appearance while you are there. The roller-coaster is really fun and exciting.

Very fun, classy park with carnival style rides and a couple small coasters. Just across the street from the beach. Some rides are a bit old and they could possible update a few things but overall we had a great time.

I have been going to this park my entire life, I have seen many things come and go around Myrtle Beach and even within this park itself but it has always been a place where my family ends up. It is a great little park with fun rides for the kids and just a great atmosphere. I can remember driving my parents nuts in the summer asking them all morning long if it was 4 yet because that's what time they opened on the weekdays. Great place for a family outing if anything just to walk around and let the kids have a blast. I spend some nights just walking around taking it all in. Family Kingdom is a great piece of Classic Myrtle Beach that we can still enjoy today!

Great amusement park! Fun rides friendly staff and good food!
If you like roller coasters hit the twist and shout or some roller coaster fun. My favorite is the hurricane !
They also have the water park or some fun in the hot sun!

Great Place for family fun or just a getaway. Myrtle Beach SC.

Took my youngest grandson there and he had the time of his life. Rode every ride his height would let him. The all day pass was certainly a bargain.

In the heart of everything. Kids loved it and had a blast.. Wish we had stayed closer to this area for our trip.

Pompous girl at the front ticket counter accused my wife and I standing with our 5 and 6 year old daughters of trying to pass a fake 100 note. Then when I asked to talk to the manager she exclaimed she's the boss. Also not true. We found the manager and explained how rude the girl was and what had happened. He did nothing. Problem is the bill is older than the rude girl. No one wearing a mask. Including the general manager. Pretty sure there's a mask order in place guy. Anyway good luck with the rude I'm the boss girl. Peace. I enclosed a couple pictures of the money you people won't be receiving on our trip.

My baby had fun and thats all that matters! Please note cash is a must! It was nice other than that.

Great place for smaller kids. Fun rides. Teens too old for many rides.

Great place for the family. Good fairly priced and so is ticket pricing. 4 star because kids under a certain height require an adult and must pay additional tickets. Otherwise, nice park!

The amusement park was fun. One issue I would suggest is seat belts on the Log Flume. At the angles of the ups and downs really felt like I was going to fall out.

Multiple rides shut down. But still had a fun time. Mainly caters to younger kids

Operations were the worst I've ever seen at a park. Many employees were foreign and didn't speak English well so communication was a bit difficult. Swamp fox was ok but the restraints were overkill. Many of the ride vehicles on pistolero didn't work right. And the worst part: THE WACKY WORM HAS A MAX HEIGHT OF 58"!!!! I don't know of any other parks with such a restriction on a wacky worm. This park is definitely not enthusiast-friendly.

It's good for young kids but if you have a teenager probably not worth the 30 dollars for a ticket seems like a great place if your kids are young

Such a nice way to have fun with the family with a view of the ocean. We will definitely go back when visiting Myrtle Beach. Great carnival food favorites!

So many amazing memories here. We love coming here with the kids when we come on vacation. We are here almost every night. Parking is a little pricey but I guess you can expect that on vacation

Great amusement park. Our family has gone a couple of times to take the younger ones while on vacation. The ride selection is nice, drinks and snacks around every corner, the only downfall is pricing. Tickets can be $1.15 per ticket or 25 for $25, so forth. But those go quick with the rides that call for 4/5 tickets per person, per ride. It s a great way to spend an evening and money.

Beware of where you park! Because of this place I got towed for parking at the Pacific store I was shopping at across the road. Im guessing its a tow trap and they assumed I was an illegally parked car. I was informed by the driver that my reciept didn't matter nor did the fact that I was exiting the store. Said he was just doing his job. I would have been glad to pay and park, like the gentleman suggested, had I known it was necessary at the retail stores in MB. I will not be wasting 1cent of my vacation money ever again in Myrtle Beach. Its not family vacation anymore... It's just a scheme!

Rides had crazy restrictions and seemed generally run down, an 18 year old rider was required to ride the ferris wheel which is a frankly ridiculous rule for a ferris wheel. Not to mention how painful and jerky all the rides were. Still had fun, but it definitely put a damper on my night

Fun for the kids to run and enjoy themselves, has a good atmosphere. I enjoy walking through watching the kids have fun, and riding the log flumes, pirate ship, drop zone all really fun. The wooden coaster is fun but it is extremely rough on adults, my kids don't get the same jerking I get while riding. Still fun for adults though. Fireworks on 2 nights a week

Overpriced, small, amusement park that young children enjoy, and parents loathe.

Family Kingdom has no safety what so ever. Some rides don't even have seat belts including the log ride. The staff is nice and everyone was helpful. Prices were high i feel like you don't get your money worth .

Took the family for sorting break. It was fun. We went to the arcade, and we ate a funnel cake. I tried to get a picture of three funnel cake, but it was already gone. Tube man at the arcade also told us that surrounding counties get half priced ride bands. I didn't know, but next time I'll look up the tickets online!

The kids loved this place. Best part of our vacation so far.

Just as good as our city's (Winston Salem's Dixie Classic Fair), fair but a LOT cheaper, and not a quarter as crowded!! We vacation in August, and do fairs in September, so we're just combining the two from now on!! Well, well worth it!!

Fun for the kids if you have them, your typical carnival atmosphere

Full of everything a carnival or country fair has to offer. My grandkids could not get enough. I was pleased.

The place was good and very child friendly. My kid enjoyed all of the rides there. There are a lot of child friendly and family rides to enjoy.

I come here every year and I'm never disappointed. They kids love it! I feel safe that its not a take down and put back up type fair. We buy the wristbands because its a great deal otherwise your paying $1.15 per ticket and each ride is 4-6 tickets and let me tell you. There is alot of rides. Keep your kids near you because its easy to lose them and bring comfortable shoes!

My 3 year old who is autistic loves this place. There are times when it gets loud or over crowded but with his coping skills he does fine. He never wants to leave because there are so many rides.

Had soooooo much fun!! Purchase the wrist bands, way cheaper!!!! Will definitely be going again next year, in season of course so we can try the water park (here are just a few pics I took, was having too much fun to take more )

While visiting the beach on vacation my family and I decided to go to Family Kingdom. The staff working the rides and sellinf tickets were beyond rude, and acted like it was a problem with us wanting to ride the rides. They could stand to hire people that are a tad bit nicer. All around we had a good time, and enjoyed what rides we were able to get on. however, there are mainly children rides. There weren't as many adults rides as they have advertised.

Well worth the money to go even if you don't like price. Get this 21 rides out of 35 are just for kids mostly between 30 inches to 42 inches. Yes my oldest offspring finally felt being told no you can not do what your siblings are. The because has a new twist which is worth seeing their lip roll out. Till their eye catches the yes i couldn't believe it myself ROLLER COASTER. It was like a mini 6 flags park. But with all your favorite perks. Short lines and NO CUTTES passes either. No as harsh impacts on the ole joints and body but still all the thrill you are looking for.

Fun place for the family but it takes a good bit of money to ride rides and play games.

Great place , especially when you have a 3 year old. They have a lot of rides. It's worthy to take a day wrist band because if you choose to take tickets ( for 3 kids ) you run out fast and ending paying more than 3 wrist bands. Use coupons that you'll find in every hotel.

Relatively clean park. Felt safe and reasonably priced. No charge unless you ride the rides or play the games.

I did not participate here. However it is spacious with lots to do.

We were on holiday at Myrtle Beach and we had great fun with the kids at this amusement park.

Excellent for younger age kids. Most of the rides are geared for 10 and under. Wish we would not have bought armbands for adults because there were not adequate rides for older people compared to the kids rides. I am pretty sure the staff must hate their jobs because I don't think we saw one ride attendant smile or make any effort to interact with human life. Our 4 year old had a great time though!

The kiddie price is a bit much for wat they get out of the magic kingdom. We will be back.

Pretty depressing theme park. Arcade was EXTREMELY dated. Rides are old and more carnival like than theme park like. Basically an old theme park being ran to keep earning $$$ on a tourist strip. Log flume was my wife's and kids highlight. They said the big roller coaster was "sketchy". Staff not very friendly...all looked like they hated their jobs. It was relatively cheap, which was the only saving grace.

So awesome for the family. Prices are high but heck were on vacation...

Awesome place. Tons of rides and fun activities for everyone. I had a funnel cake. Yum.

Loved the skywheel so much! It was super hot outside, so having the air conditioner in each cart was so nice. And you get your moneys worth. It goes around like 10 times and each time is very slow. The view it amazing. It was very nice and well maintained. They even had a emergency stop button it one would get scared and need to be the next cart let off. If you aren t afraid of heights I would say this is something you will have to try out. If you are afraid of heights I would say this is something you will not want to do because it is such a long time spent in the air. It s not like it just goes around twice and it s done. It goes around like 10 times. Also with the pricing, we got our tickets from a 3rd party and it was like 7 dollars a person instead of 13 which makes a difference when you are on vacation spending lots of money.

We had a blast! Lots of family fun! Reasonable prices! Food and beverages affordable. But all rides are not included in wristband price Should be! Not impressed with the idea you pay for all you can ride on selected rides! Not enough places to sit and rest for us older fun seekers. High on food, drinks and games..but what amusement park isn't...

A good and fun place...At first my granddaughter was not enjoying the kiddie ride but once she got to the ones like big ppls ride she was happy.. We are from Atlanta Ga.

It was a nice lace to vist with my child. But would have been a lot better if the people in the ticket booth would have told us the water park was closed before i purchased tickets that I could not use.

Daughters got stuck at top of log ride as safety precaution but a was good. They had blast

This place was absolutely AMAZING!!! So many things to do here for families, adults, and kids. The food was pretty good...very expensive, but good none the less. The rides were awesome and fun. A great place to spend an entire day at. We visited here from pgiladelphia for the first time and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Who doesnt love the pavilion at Myrtle Beach! We visited month of October when season is slow, so it didnt open till 6pm but watching the people on the sling shot even while riding down the strip at night was fun, always live the lights, and all the rides, great time for everyone young and older!

We went on a Friday night in the off season. They did not have a lot of staff, but they did have signs telling people how everything worked and the staff that were around were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint is they closed at 10pm and we would have loved to stay later!

We will be back!

My 6 years old really like it because 4 days on the Myrtle beach than kids need some fun time...its best place for kids. No entry fees but u can buy ticket for the rides.

Come here every year with the kids great fun.
And a place to make a lot of memories with your family.
