Fairmont Singapore Review

Pleasant place to stay for the night. Room service was great.

Very friendly staff eager to help. Take their time to ensure an enjoyable stay.
Everything is first class. Fantastic location.
Can't think of anything negative to say about the Fairmont. Our stay has been wonderful.

Seriously felt disappointed as I came as a guest to my brother's birthday...Felt humiliated cos we were told twice by e duty manager that we were noisy... There were only like 7 adults present in e room...could not enjoy e party despite we paying $1000++...
If u wanna accommodate to others hey come on we are your guests too my dear... So all of us were ridden of our freedom to talk n enjoy....We felt e service was up to mark seriously feedback aside...

Thanks to ur management who made us feel as such.... Would not recommend ur hotel to anyone else cos we felt we never get the same standard as all guests....

Good atmosphere for evening activities but the crowds of shoppers interferes with the ambience.

There are many types of restaurants, and the service and meals are one-of-a-kind. There are often some artworks on display, close to the subway station. There are large Raffles malls, churches and theatres nearby. If you like performing arts, you can buy tickets on the first floor of the hotel!

I booked the Daycation package, 12 hours room and food vouchers. Great experience, felt like being on a business trip. The service is good, used the sauna during.my lunch break and worked for an hour pool side. The view was brilliant. Spending a day working from there was very productive

comfortable bed and pillow, location and corteous and knowledgable staffs

Expensive, ac is not cool enough, concierge is so slow, bfast is very slow. We have been sitting for more than 30 minutes and no coffee nor tea even though we already ask the last 5 minutes.

I would say Mandarin Hotel Singapore is much better than here. I would not stay here any more.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary celebration.
The room we stayed in was spacious, comfy and clean.

The breakfast at Prego was not as good as we were hoping - as we were served cold breakfast. The bread seemed like it was toasted for a long time ago and was left out - making the bread chewy. The scramble egg was cold. I think they prepared the food earlier and they dish it out when customers arrive based on the food ordered. You are better of going to Raffles city for breakfast for better quality of food and value for money.

Most of the waiters/waitresses at Prego were not friendly or even welcoming. For the exception one young waiter who brought us water, seeing that I kept walking to the drink bar for more water. He was friendly and polite.
Generally, customer service can be better improved.

The swimming pool was good. We enjoyed our swim. The waiter at the bar was very helpful and friendly. That was very welcoming at the hotel.

Recently I have attended a wedding lunch in Fairmount but received a bad service experience from a waitress. She was rough in handling everything including cleaning the dirty plates. When she was clearing the table for our last dish she spilled the soya sauce all over my sleeve, bag and chair. Yet the manager couldnt give a good solution for me except for offering an oversized dress and laundry service. I admit laundry service is good but I cannot be sending my clothes for laundry and I wear the oversized dress back home. There is no alternative offered after I rejected the first offer. No apology from the lady waitress as well.

Food was ok. The fruit drinks were all too sweet. Not enough of iced water. Server were not attentive enough to replace cold drinks on the table. Seatings were a little tight with the crowds. Could have been better.

Very grand environment, centralised location, very good service. However buffet spread is very limited

I booked a signature suite for 3 adults and 2 kids. They gave me a room with a bed for two adults only.
During check in, they said the room has harbour view, and when we enter the room, only city view.
Really bad service as well from the staffs
Will not stay here again for sure.

Great hotel. The hospitality suite is amazing if you have a late flight and need to wait somewhere or if you have a really early flight.

An amazing hotel, if you can afford to stay here then it is absolutely worth every penny. The staff are lovely, and the location is perfect. Only slight quibble is that wifi is not free, unless you join the Fairmont President's club (which is free).

Attended a dinner and dance event. Conveniently located near City Hall MRT, large hall size, easy to get around after the event ends.

Had a champagne brunch at Prego. Seafood was disappointing. Overall an average experience.

I'd go back to Singapore to stay in this hotel. Modern rooms and lovely courtyard with pool and bar. Breakfast is impossible to beat! Staff are beyond incredible. Wow. Loved this hotel. Loved it!

Nice hotel in middle of everything. A bit too "close" service for european guy like me but fine - let 'em be asians ;-)

Central location, was there to collect online order and the process is smooth. It gets busy close to seasonal promotions and festive goods. Pick a convenient timing, adhere to it and be patient. You are not the only person ordering their goodies, and their kitchen deals with large scale event on a daily basis.

The service at Prego was good. Food is great as usual.

This hotel has one of the best gyms and spa I've ever visited, in Singapore or overseas.

Good business hotel, as it's supposed to be. Sad that they are squeaky about the executive lounge.

Went to asian market cafe for dinner, there was quite a spread! Prata was really nice and the durian dessert is a must try for durian lovers
