Plusses. Rooms were nice. Great convention service. Modern style. They loan you binoculars Minuses. Dog barking all night, couldn't sleep night one. Temp gauge not working, no sleep night two. If you like to party and don't require sleep, great place at $220 a night

Very nice hotel easy access to any downtown experience of Pittsburgh. Rooms were very clean and had a nice view

Upscale and very clean. Staff are extremely polite. I would definitely stay again if coming back. Views are spectacular as well

Nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. I was put up for work so I don't know of it was worth the price. But i had a fantastic time. Within walking distance of every thing we did. We had an amazing view of my PNC park from our room.

Room was nice and spacious. Great view from the 14th floor.

Went for lunch, prices are good for a city restaurant. Beer was over priced for the six ounces you get. Decor was slightly retro.

They refused to refund a room, right after checking in. Over 200$ for a room I barely went into

This is for the Fairmont Spa. Honestly one of the best facials I have had in a long long time. Go here for a sweet escape.

WHAT WORKS WELL?
1. The staff are super friendly, from the concierge that greets you at the hotel, to the welcome staff at the spa front desk, and the aestheticians. They make you feel like they want you here

2. The services were amazing. I had the facial and a 30 minute shoulder / back rub. My husband had a 90 minute massage. Call out to Nora, Shannon, and Jessica. True professionals who knew what they were doing

3. The facilities were simple and elegant. Changing area, showers, and steam rooms were spacious and well done. Plenty of room to move around and well kept

WHAT WAS AN EXTRA TREAT?
1. Warmer to hang your towel or robe in the treatment rooms

2. Changing area had a place where all robes sandals and towels were kept. This instead of stuffing inside locker. Good idea

3. Nora did not try to scrub my face off. She was gentle but thorough with my face. Got a great face massage to boot

4. Use of warm towels during the massages were welcome treats.

WHAT COULD BE ADDED?
I really loved this place, but there are always ways even the best could do better

1. I always appreciate when luxury spas use baby cloth diapers instead of towels, with the diaper being gentler on the skin when wiping off product. That said Nora was very gentle so towels did not cause issue

2. Would have loved if by the sink there included scope or some sort of mouth wash. Helps ensure you go to your treatment with a freshly

The catering banquet staffing is very rude and nasty and very disrespectful I'm never going back i give it a 0 star

Valet parking at arrival. Terrific knowledgeable staff, great accommodations made for a wonderful go to a wedding weekend

This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are excellent and the staff is beyond compare. I have never had even an average stay here. Always perfect.

Had a business meeting in the lobby. Waitress and hostess were pleasant.

The atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable, and the drinks were delicious. Music was excellent. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a classy evening.

This is an absolutely beautiful , upscale hotel/banquet venue. I have been here a few times for different events and have enjoyed every moment.

My experience here was lovely. The room was clean and stocked well. The staff was incredible. Very kind and accommodating. I brought two dogs and the staff was always asking about them and had dog treats to offer my dogs. It was exceptional service to say the least. Will definitely return. It's also center ally located and easy to get to many places from here. Five stars!

I had a family emergency and had to cancel my reservation. I politely asked the Fairmont to refund my deposit and they refused. Terrible customer service and rude staff.

Great location for an after dinner drink from Market Square. Interesting cocktails and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful windows let in an enormous amount of daylight. Will return

We're staying overnight at the Fairmont Pittsburgh and are thoroughly impressed so far! Spacious room facing PPG center, easy walking distance everywhere, beautiful hotel, and friendly staff. However, it is overpriced considering the lack of amenities. There's no pool or breakfast and free internet only if you sign up for their loyalty program.

Attended a wedding at the fairmont. Everything was beautiful and the food was delicious.

I am deeply disappointed about fairmont we stayed 2nights! I booked the hotel for my aunt because i was always expecting that it is one of the best hotel in Pittsburgh but i was so wrong.
The moment we arrive i did not feel special at all. Staff was too cold, room was ok, bathroom is big and the only reason why i am giving it 2 stars. The bathrobe in the bathroom was already dirty when we get there. Also no water bottles in room when we called for it we were ask to go to front desk to take it, i tried to understand and think it might be because extra precautions for covid, but there is too much things that I observed that was so wrong so i have to say this. I usually dont like complaining and giving bad reviews at all but i felt like this is necessary so people will be aware. Lastly i self park in the garage thinking maybe it might be included, when i check out and took my car and pay in the parking area myself i was charged $70. I tried to call and ask about it in frontdesk but the person i talked to seems to not understand me and doesn t have any patience to make me understand why i was charged so i just let it go.
If you will ask me staying in this hotel is not worth it at all. I worked in hotels and know what kind of service guests should get and guests deserves and this is so not it.

Very poor service at the 2nd floor bar. Staff are not clued into their surroundings. Overall this Fairmont is not up to typical Fairmont standards.

Definitely one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The veiws can be awesome if you shell out the extra cash. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

I had a pretty good stay at the Pittsburgh Fairmont. As an Accor Platinum member, I was welcomed accordingly upon checking in, and was provided a room upgrade. The room was generally nice but looked slightly dated. Bathroom was good but the water pressure in the shower was not that great. Fitness center is fantastic. The service is what you what you would expect with a Fairmont; exceptional. Do yourself a favor and stop at the F.2 restaurant for an incredibly satisfying dining experience.

Great location... staff is excellent and so are the rooms. We always stay here when coming to Pittsburgh.

my food was hard as a rock the lady who made my food was rude she pushed me and i hurt my self she kept getting my food wrong they need to get it together i really hated that restaurant she kept waisting coffee on my new dress i won't ever go back there again it disguise me the bathrooms were so dirty they over cooked all my food

Honestly I'd expect room service or mini bar. Nope nothing. Extremely disappointing we stayed the night we got married.

We staycation here often! Easy walk to Market Square. Great rooms. Good size.

I am previewing Pittsburgh and met my tour guide at the Fairmont. The common areas of the hotel are beautiful and well kept

this hotel is honestly the greatest hotel i've been too in a while. beds are so comfortable. pillows are like heaven. workers/ customer service is an a++. everyone was so nice and welcoming. would recommend to ALL.

It was a trek from the parking garage to the hotel lobby, and especially since we had to make multiple trips, was time consuming and tiring. Our room was nothing special - certainly not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The bathroom seemed fine at first but at closer look was not clean. I found many pubic hairs in the shower and bathtub which was disgusting. Furthermore, not providing free wifi seems ridiculous to me and the cost of wifi was very expensive. I will not be visiting the Fairmont again and would not recommend.

I have enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont. Location is great, the rooms are awesome, and the staff is great too. Being that I am here for work, I just wish there was a refrigerator I can use in my room, instead of it all being taken up by a mini bar.

The location was fantastic,gave.you that real upperclass feel... Too bad it was back to reality after a few drinks at the bar.

Covid aside very disappointing experience. Valet parking all but required, at $40 a vehicle, fourteen floor hotel yet elevator skips 4 through 13?, water view..perhaps a thin slice, in room dining necessary due to covid $94 for two sandwiches, a $9 bottle of water $4 coke in a can and a lump of something chocolate..all served in cardboard boxes, literally one ply toilet paper, rooms old..not character old..just old. This is not what I expect from a so called 5 star hotel!

Great place to hold a wedding reception. The service was extremely high-quality in my opinion and there was enough room to sit approximately 175 of us with no problem at all and a very large dance floor. The wedding I heard with no issues so all said and done that's a huge plus. I'd recommend it

A very nice 4 hotel. It is definitely above a 3 and distinctly below a 5. Clean, stylish and with contemporary amenities, I found the property staff professional.

Such a beautiful hotel - my favorite place to stay when I travel to PGH. You couldn't find anything more convenient (this facility is located right by Market Square.) The concierge personnel are absolutely phenomenal.
