Beautiful hotel, very clean and great, friendly customer service!
I stayed at the Fairmont Pittsburgh on a recent visit to watch another team play the Steelers.
I instantly fell in love with this property. It's in a great location within walking or subway distance to the Sports Stadiums.
This hotel isn't overly stuffy but it doesn't get a little busy on Game Days. Unfortunately the parking situation is a little difficult to navigate so if you are driving in and like to plan ahead call in advance for the directions.
Enjoy!
Not much to say i love the rooms the size of the beds the food the drinks the people are really nice and wonderful
Great hotel. I do with they had ev charging available with the valet.
It's in a great area of town, everything is in close walking distance
Let me start by saying the hotel was beautiful and everyone was super kind and accommodating, especially with my special needs son! I gave 3 stars because while we were out to lunch house keeping had come by and when I got back to my room the two necklace boxes (with necklaces in them) I had left on the table was gone.. I looked everywhere and they were no where to be found. I'm not sure if they thought the boxes were trash or...?
Clean modern hotel in the city. Close to many restaurants and entertainment.
A great hotel with a great location. The restaurant had the best ribeye I have had, and I have eaten a lot of Ribeyes.
Rooms were clean, spacious, clean, neat, and also very clean!
Awesome staff made the whole stay awesome.
The attached picture is the view from a standard room.
Went to Andy's for cocktails and snacks and jazz. All excellent. Try the baked oysters. Expensive but worth it.
What a fun and energetic hotel! Always seemed to be buzzing with activity, almost as if it were the epicenter for the whole town's social.
Beautiful, maybe fanciest place I've ever stayed. The staff is great.
Had some issues with the bathrooms. There's a ledge between the shower area and the bathtub, and I managed to hit my head on that ledge twice, bending over with soap in my eyes, in a 5-night stay.
Let's be honest. Probably most of this is because I'm an idiot. But maybe there's something they could have done?
Friendly staff. One of the nicest hotels in the city. Food at FL2 was amazing.
I used their event parking, it was reasonably priced
Went for business meeting, great space and great food
An exquisite, palatial venue that operates by the edict of doing everything at a minimum of FIRST CLASS.
Perfect location right into the center of Downtown Pittsburgh
Absolutely amazing hotel! I booked a night at the Fairmont the night I proposed to my now fiancee. The room, view, and staff was amazing. The hotel staff even sent up chocolate covered strawberries & a congratulatory card for our engagement. Cannot recommend the Fairmont enough!
View from the 22nd floor is wonderful. Staff are prompt and professional. The rooms are will decorated and clean.
I was here for a wedding. It was a wonderful venue, with good food and better staff.
Very nice venue! Wonderful amenities, and great tasting food. Good location too
Held a client appreciation event here. The service was exceptional. Highly recommend.
I attended a professional awards event in the ballroom here. the facilities are nicely setup for both the public mingle with refreshments prior to the dinner and the main ballroom event with formal presentation stage with AV support and guest round tables. Food was great and the wait staff had a flair for delivery presenting everyone at a table their course at the same time. Overall a pleasant experience.
Came to Pittsburgh for a babymoon and stayed at the Fairmont Hotel. I had no expectations, and was pleasantly surprised by our overall experience at the Fairmont. Our experience with the Fairmont started out rocky. Even though we arrived at 4pm, we were told that our room was not yet ready and that we would have to wait. After about 20 minutes we were able to check in and found that they put us on a high floor. This worked out to be an advantage. Any doubts that I had from the check-in process were quickly resolved once we got to our room. I found the rooms to be spacious, great views, and each floor had lots of wonderful small details that told the story of Pittsburgh's manufacturing past. Each room was provided with binoculars to see the Pittsburgh Skyline. We were able to watch fireworks from the windows in the hallway after the Pittsburgh Pirates game. This is the best located hotel and made it really easy for us to get around Pittsburgh.
The final thing that put the Fairmont at the top of our experience was the surprise dessert tray and champagne the hotel provided to celebrate our anniversary as part of the baby moon. Outstanding presentation. I would stay at the Fairmont again.
The hotel is beautiful. The service is excellent, and the service of the room is delicious.
Wonderful hotel in Pittsburgh. Great view of PNC Park from our room! Breakfast was yummy.
The glass exhibit was pretty, but much smaller than expected.
Great location, nice banquet area, great coffee and food for a catered event.
Excellent property with consistent and top notch service. One of the few true 5 star hotel experiences in the area. COVID restrictions were handled professionally, and in room dining quality was good. While we cant wait for normality to return to the property, it still provided a a superb location for a recharge and night away from home.
Though Fairmont is usually have great hotels, this one felt subpar to others I have been to. Though the room was great and the accommodations were good as well, my room was very small. Also, it was not a very welcoming environment, feeling more like an office building than an actual hotel. Still a good high priced option, but don't expect a high quality of a stay.
Amazing amenities, Nice staff, clean and gorgeous rooms.
I stayed at the Fairmont the night of my wedding. The one thing I didn't like was the lack of free internet (which also meant we couldn't use the chromcast in the room) but our stay was so delightful! Every staff person we met was helpful and happy, we had a beautiful view in a lovely room, the bathroom was fantastic, we had massages and used the steam and sauna rooms in the spa and everything was amazing, truly it was an exceptional hotel stay for us and we plan to return when we can. We arrived in our wedding gowns so we got to tell the front desk we had come from our wedding, and later they sent up a card addressed to Mrs and Mrs wishing us well and telling us we were both beautiful. It was such a nice thing and we appreciated it so much!
Love this contemporary hotel. Service is excellent!
Stayed there yesterday and for the rate the room was ok. We had breakfast at fl2, servers were rude and not accommodating when we wanted to change/add to our order on the menu. Location was prime since it was in the middle of everything, made it easy to walk around downtown.
Looked nice, but bad food when servicing Allderdice prom
I just walk pass this place - always looks nice, doormen always clean cut.
A first class location for business travelers. Beautiful views of the city square, Mt. Washington, and vibrant downtown. No complaints, quiet, clean, and accommodating professional staff. Highly recommend not only for business travelers but a great centralized locations for visitors as well.
I wanted a room with a view and very much got it. You could hear the stadium roar! Ordered breakfast, it was prompt, well put together, and delicious. My boyfriend and I were pleased with hotel itself and the room.
Nice clean room with a huge bathroom! Great view of Mt. Washington. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Ron the doorman! He gave us recommendations for some great restaurants!
It has a lovely lobby and the location in downtown is wonderful. Service was great and the room was heavenly.
Very polite and accommodating staff. Great food options and easy to get to since I work downtown.
Very nice hotel, clean and luxurious. Only issue is that internet costs extra
This is my second Fairmont after Seattle and they are the best. Spacious rooms, very courteous and knowledgeable staff and even good in-room dining food.
Attended a business meeting. Very clean and beautiful hotel. Parking is tight.
Nice room, great service! A bit pricey for the quality of linens and room features.
Awesome staff, great gym, and central to the city. I would stay here again.
Oh, I was so pleasantly surprised. The Hotel had implemented many safety measures to keep residence and employees safe. I found the rooms to be superbly clean, especially the bathroom, spacious and sanitary. The. Bed was excellent, I slept very well. And I could see PNC park, and the bridge from my room. I enjoyed this Hotel tremendously. I give them the highest rating!
I enjoyed the hotel's atmosphere. Everyone greeted me kindly and showed me where everything was.
No free wifi and no complimentary breakfast. I pay the same price down other hotels to get at least free wifi
If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBully. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!
OMG! Simply the best! Spa great, Meal great thanks Jared awesome Waiter! A wonderful experience overall! Everyone was extremely professional. Great job guys. Will be back soon.
We stayed at the Fairmont this past Saturday, November 3rd. Check-in time was listed as 3pm. We arrived at 3pm, and was told that our room would be ready shortly so we dropped our luggage and went for a walk around the area. Came back at 3:45pm and was again told that our room was not available "due to a large group that did not leave until late". I made them aware that my wife and I had a meeting at 6pm and needed to get into the room to get ready, and they assured me that the room will be ready shortly and to come back in a half hour. Came back at 4:30pm, and the room was still not ready. We sat in the lobby for the next hour until our room was ready at 5:30pm. I ended up having to push back our meeting, and then missed our dinner reservations later that evening. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in my life, and was told before that my room was being cleaned and would be ready shortly, but it was at most a 15-20 minute delay before getting into my room. I have never had to wait 2.5 hours past check-in time. For a $300/night room, I'd expect better service. I'd recommend you'd look elsewhere if you're looking to check into your room on time.
