A little delved into the fate of the Faberge family. You won't envy them. :( I hope someday a dramatic film will be made about them. I would hire Spielberg to do this. Although it will cost more than the collection itself, I guess. :) Maybe Vekselberg will get his hands on it. Well done - a man. The highest score for this museum for everything without exception. I can't find anything that can be improved and improved. The building is excellently selected and prepared, the management of the process is excellent, the staff is impeccable. Even the level of sensitivity of the security service is surprisingly high. I liked the light of the exhibits very much. I have never seen such a professional light in any of Peter's museums. I am even more satisfied with the quality of the glass boxes of the exhibits, they are enlightened and do not glare - the exhibits seem to be without glass. Quite an interesting collection of paintings and household luxury in the halls. Touched the owner's corner, where he apparently conducts business negotiations. I would like to thank Mr. Vekselberg. Low bow to you. God knows what all this is costing you. I think at the Court you will have something to be proud of. Thanks you!

I really liked the museum, a lot of beautiful things of amazing work, a real aesthetic pleasure. I recommend to visit. PS. It is better to buy tickets in advance online on the museum website, so as not to stand in line on the street.

A small museum, but very "saturated", the presented exhibits are described in detail (we took an audio guide), the windows are conveniently located, a pleasant sensation of presence in the history of the famous jewelry house is created :)

The Faberge eggs are spectacular. It's possible to visit the museum in the evenings up until 9pm and tour on your own using an audio guide which is very informative and comes in most languages. In addition to the eggs there are also a number of ornate items produced by the house of Faberge such as silverware, jewellery boxes and cigarette cases.

This place deserves 10 stars, then there are situations to fix, for example: if you want the audio guide, you have to leave 1000 rubles in storage. Being the last day, I no longer had this amount in cash. The young cashier in Italian tells me that "it's my business". No audio guide. Why not do as we do leaving a document to guarantee the return? The museum is worth the trip!

Really cool museum, with Faberge eggs and other whimsical creations. If you're interested in them, it's unmissable because the collection is rich, the palace is beautiful and the information is well presented. The audioguide is really worth it - it's necessary to leave a 1000 rubles deposit, so be prepared.

Has a great selection of faberge and antiques. Consist of 11 rooms (if i am not mistaken) , time spent to look at all the things is about 1 hour unless you want to know the detail and history of the items displayed.

A feast for our eyes. A truly beautiful and diverse collection. Above all, don't hesitate to come and see. The eggs are really beautiful, but the rest of the collection is truly sublime and very diverse.

This is the first and only museum from which I knew I had to leave, and that's how I wanted to stay there. Everything is beautiful in this museum. After four hours of watching, taking pictures and videos, I came to the conclusion that I have to come here again because I did not see everything as I would like it. Museum beautiful, nice service, I was not forbidden to record gimbal movies. When I made the fifth circle around the chambers, I became almost an interior design element for the museum staff. It is the largest and richest private museum in Russia. I would highly recommend!!!

It is a particular museum but the 7th of the best museums seen so far, starting from location, organization and security, to exhibits and exposure modes. The exhibits include not only Faberge pieces, but also many other pieces by other Russian jewelers, with the observation that all of the exhibits belong to the same era. Try to inform yourself in advance of the exposed pieces. Their story, their history, and the events they are exposed to are unprecedented and worth knowing before the objects are seen. Otherwise, with a guide, in 2 hours you can see the museum and do not stay with too much. I recommend you to see the museum and if you have the opportunity, check it out.

The surfeit of fakes available all over the tourist shops in Russia, do take way from the grandeur of seeing the original Faberge eggs. But the craftsmanship is evident and though the tickets are a little pricier than I would have liked, I would still recommend the place. Interestingly, the gift shop is reasonably priced and should definitely be on your shopping list.

A wonderful museum of creations by Carl Faberge, located in a beautiful historical building - the Naryshkin-Shuvalovs palace. The museum, in addition to the collection of the famous Faberge Easter eggs, features silverware, silver icons, jewelry, as well as silver works of famous Faberge rival jewelers. In addition to the luxurious interiors of the palace and jewelry directly, you can admire the paintings of Aivazovsky, Renoir, Bryullov. This museum will not leave anyone indifferent, I recommend to visit!

Pleasently sourprised with this museum. I wasn't expecting some egg-shaped jewelry to be so attractive and mean so much beyond the actual jewelry beauty. A nice way to see and understand some facts about Russia pre and post revolution.

A small jewel of a museum, even if the jewels contained there are many. The famous (Easter) eggs produced for the famous jeweler who worked for the Czars are exhibited. But not only. Fantastic ceramics, precious artifacts in gold and silver and even some paintings by Russian painters of exquisite workmanship. Definitely worth spending 1h30 'for the visit.

The museum is located in the Shuvalavsky Palace (near Nevsky, Anichkov Bridge district) and here is collected a huge collection of works by Faberge. Several large halls of the palace with preserved interiors are also worthy of attention - here are luxurious statues, fireplaces and mirrors with candelabra. But, of course, the main pearl of all this is the private collection of the museum. In addition to the Faberge eggs familiar to all of us, there is a huge collection of caskets, dishes, icons and much more. I was in the museum twice and it does not get boring. The cost of tickets is 450 rubles, there are benefits for pensioners and students

Very compact and easily accessible museum! The museum is full of beautiful artwork. One thing I didn t like was the fact that they have no descriptions for any of the eggs and related stuff. Come before 1 to avoid long queues.
