Love this place, great spot for kids of all ages, climbing is awesome, plus a large pirate playground.

I had a lot of fun at Extreme Edge Rock Climbing, it was was a great way to end my school year.

Fun time. Lots of various difficulty levels, helpful snd proactive staff, many seating areas and playgrounds inside, tuck shop too. Clean and tidy facilities. Sign waiver before starting. Lots of fun, birthday parties are held here too, spaces upstairs

Great facility plenty of different climbs to keep you challenged. Kids climbs are good as well with the auto belay so the kids can have fun.

Our kids had a ball here from the 7, 9 and 11 year old to our 20 year old student. The staff were super helpful and great with the kids.
They did hourly training on belaying so I could help the adults climb the more challenging walls that didn't auto-belay. Everyone had a great time and we stayed for about 3 hours.

Loved it! Great place for kids and grown ups to enjoy. Plenty of different skill levels for climbing, from easy to hard and extremely hard. Well worth the price and you can stay for as long as you want. Unlimited play!

Good value; I took a nervous ten year old nephew and the staff helped him to get over it and really enjoy his experience.

We have been a return customer many times. Kids love this place. Not only they have great variety for rock climbing (which is perfect for 5yo-9yo), they also have a pretty amazing indoor playground which kids constantly switch between that and rock climbing.

Another big plus is their entrance ticket is an all day pass (I.e. you can start late morning, go else where have lunch, go back there for more fun).

Will definitely go back again sometime soon.

Great place for all ages, whether hosting a party or casually climbing with friends or making climbing your sport and training regularly, this climbing gym has something for everyone.
The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, as well as friendly, plenty of room to store gear while climbing, gear to hire is of a high standard and prices are reasonable. On top of all that the wall routes are changed regularly so continue to be interesting for those who go regularly.

My favorite spot by far. We usually hit all the kids climbs for warm ups and climb the night away

Pedge is my home gym. No complaints other than the new self belays. They make kids get in the way.

Disorganised; for newbies like self.. there was little guidance. Very little parking place for the venue.

Came here in the school holidays and was expecting the busyness on arrival. There was a line when we got there and some parents were complaining they had been waiting for awhile (up to 20mins) luckily for us the wait wasn't too long but there were no clear lines of who was in which line as everyone stood in one big group, the pay area is quite small when there are alot of people there at one time.

Instruction talk was straight forward but wasn't much of a safety talk as it lasted less than 5mins.

The facility itself is cool, lots of climbing walls we stuck to the ones with red rope as that was what we were told by the safety guide.

There was no one supervising the kids area where the play area is so older kids were running everywhere even though it says no running. Kids were running across the bridge and I wondered if it would break or fall with the way they were all running across it. My youngeat daughter was quite intimidated on the playground because of the older kids.

All in all the cost for 2 kids under 6 to climb was reasonable and for unlimited hours as well. Not much seating available or space to just chill. Saw on other reviews that it can get quite hot in there it was cold and raining the day we went so wasn't too bad!

Would come back again but would recommend more supervision in the kids area especially when it is busy

I really enjoy climbing here! I think it's the biggest climbing gym in Auckland and they change up the routes quite often so there's always some variety. They have mostly top rope and lead climbing routes but also a bouldering area and clip n climb for auto belay. There's also a kids only area and lots of space for birthday parties. The staff are really friendly and they sell snacks as well as coffee. There's also a small selection of gear for sale.

Attended a very fun birthday party here. My 3 year old had an amazing time.

Great rock climbing gymin my Wellington, lots of options for all levels. Check for busy times as it can be very crowed.

Cool place indoor climbing. Caters for kids really well, it has a playground and some fun easier climbs.

Great faciities for a range of different climbs in terms of type and difficultly. Lead climbing available as well as top ropeand boldering. There are a number of different types of walls including overhangs, waterfalls, straight walls and slabs. Good grading system so that you are able to estimate how hard climbs are. There are also kids climbs available with automatic belay system. This is regular go to to climbing fcility for me.

A great place to take the busy little bodies to run, play and climb! We love this place and attend regularly!

Great indoor activity. Not badly priced and a good range of climbs for all skill levels. For alot of the walls you have to do. Belay course which run on the hour so plan your trip accordingly.

Can be a bit busy on week nights but cool staff and a wide range of climbs to try.

great for taking kids for a energy burning day. a lot climbing courses to choose from, all labelled with difficulties. There are also extensive climbing areas for the serious climbers. climbing club membership is available. There is also a small gead shop which is super handy in case you forget your piece to ruin the plan.

Fun place even if you are not fit. The easy part is always doable. Different levels, and well maintained. They spend a lot of thought optimizing it. Cool

Great place for kids and adults, recommend this for kids birthday parties.

This was a really nice climbing place. It is not so expensive and it will cost you somewhere around NZ$15 to NZ$20 to enter and you can just stay until they close. And staff was very friendly. It was my first time today and the trainer trained me really well. You have your freedom to climb any wall you like. You can bring your own climbing gear or you can hire for NZ$5. I would highly recommend this place for rope climbing. They have snacks and drinks if you need.

Friendly staff. Kids get a safety briefing before they start climbing and there's an awesome playground for the kids too.

Very good activity and location for a day out with kids.. Parking is limited onsite so expect to park on the main road. Other than that, would recommend this place especially for a wet wintery day.

Amazing place, Can spend the entire day here, well worth it. Team is amazing, they are prompt in action when my daughter went all the way up and then was teary and afraid to come down as it was her first time, Todd helped her and was amazing to deal with. After getting the hang of it, she just would not stop. Thanks team. Well done.

Best indoor rock climbing in Auckland. Bit expensive.
