I recommend anyone coming to the space Needle to attend. There is great history for children through great exhibits and an overwhelming amount of knowledge for our children. The plaza is beautiful as well. While you sit outside there is also a huge playard for children of all ages to play on

Really fun, interesting museum. Totally worth the price of admission. The deep dive biography exhibits in various artists were fascinating. If you're a fan of looking up artists on Wikipedia, you'll love losing yourself in the memorabilia.

Really cool museum. Sound lab is a must see. I am a little mixed about the Nirvana exhibit. Seems somewhat of an antithesis to what they stood for. Couldn't really grock the idea of them being in a museum.

This was a really fun museum. I think my favorite exhibits were the indi games where you can literally spend forever playing games and the music exhibit. You can play instruments and sing and record. It was alot of fun:)

Total blast, you could spend a whole afternoon here and I suggest that you do. went during the marvel exhibit which was a fun look at the rise of marvel comics through its lifetime as well as the sound hall. There are many things to do and see here so give yourself plenty of time.

Movies, Music, Pop Culture!

Movies, Music, Pop Culture!

It s all here and it s fun and brilliant.

First, you re getting a Frank Gehry design. You can spot his work from a mile away and it will leave your jaw on the floor. It s that beautiful.

Once you enter, you re greeted with film memorabilia from horror films, sci-fi films, Prince, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, a musical jam session, and much more.

This isn t a museum you go to on a rainy day to kill time. No. This is a must for anyone that s in Seattle. Hey, even if you don t want to go in, just walk around the building and be amazed by the gorgeous architecture.

What spectacular place. You are here to take part in music. Not only to see curious items from Prince, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, but also to experience play guitar, drums or sing! Amazing!

Awesome museum! My daughter left her phone and the staff found it and saved the day. The exhibits were awesome and very interactive. Got some great pictures (no flash) in the star trek exhibit. The fantasy exhibit was pretty awesome as well. My daughter loved the small tunnels to run through.

There is some great stuff in here, I highly recommend it. However, it was so crowded it was difficult to fully enjoy. People kept bumping into me. I walk with a cane so that was a dangerous museum. Hopefully you can go on a day that it isn't filled to capacity.

They have awesome exhibits and really neat things to interact with. Great when you need to do something kind of mellow if you are visiting Seattle. Hate that you have to pay extra to see the Marvel exhibit.

Many popular culture references from movies, games, music, art and fashion. Good place for a fun weekend. I has movie items from horror, science fiction, thriller, fantasy and drama of movies. It has guitars and many displays for famous musicians. It has a music lab for you to make some music using real instruments in sound proof rooms.

This place is poppin'! It's cool to check out this museum at least once if you are ever in the city. I didn't know what to expect but did come here with an open mind. Was pretty amaze to learn about Nirvana, play some games in the nintendo room, play some instruments, and probably one of the faves is the scary and tech room. Don't want to give out too much but definitely fun to learn, explore and see what this place has to offered.

Very fun place. So much memorabilia to see. So so cool. Who doesn't want to see Dorothy's dress from oz, or the lions outfit, or Indiana Jones jacket along with original jand written scripts. Then, oh my gosh, off to the Star Trek area, so cool.

Over priced, tacky bait and switch tactics. The exhibits are ok but not great. However $75 for a family of 4 is bad enough in itself. Signs outside and all over the place advertised the Star Wars exhibit. Nowhere does it mention that to see that exhibit you have to pay an additional $8 a head. Thanks for making me look like a cheapskate to my kids for not allowing you to fleece me anymore than you already did just to get in the door. Blaming it on Lucas Films - as you did - is a just a cheap excuse.

The museum itself is really jumbled and confusing. Aside from the Star Wars mess they have exhibits closed without warning - effectively taking about 1/4 of the space off limits. The layout has absolutely no flow to it and you are never sure, without resorting to a map, to determine if you actually saw everything. In fact I missed the Hendrix piece entirely evidently because I only saw Nirvana.

One of our favorite places. And they always have new and fascinating exhibits, such as the Marvel and the Star Trek exhibits that are fan experiences that are not to be missed. We also go each year for the big Minecon Earth event. So much fun.

Went to go see the marvel movies exhibit and it was awesome. Also saw the video game exhibit, the Nirvana area, and Jimi Hendrix exhibit. There was more there too. It was a good time with the family.

The place was amazing and big so best to give yourself time to enjoy the whole thing about an hour and a half. The only thing I didn't like was that your ticket doesn't allow you to go into all the sections the Marvel and halogram exhibit you had to pay an additional fee which I don't think is fair. The main reason we went is to take my son to the marvel exhibit and we had to pay extra for each person to go in. We still had fun though.

Perfect for a family visit, spent three hours here with a 9 year old boy. So much to see and I almost wet my pants with excitement when I saw The Princess Bride s Dread Pirate Roberts costume and the six-fingered man glove! Engaging topical exhibits and the sound lab where you get to play instruments. It s all top notch.

What a fun place to spend an afternoon. Loved the science fiction section, as well as the Worlds of Myth and Magic. Lots of cool stuff to see! Tickets were a bit pricey but that seems to be the norm with museums now, which kinda sucks. I would actually also recommend grabbing lunch at Wolfgang Pucks express restaurant on street level. It is way beyond the normal food you might get at a museum food court!

This place is a must for any fans of music and any movie related fans. I was blown away by their collection and they also had a very special marvel exhibit which was awesome. I highly recommend this place to all pop culture fans.

I thought this museum was REALLY cool - I had never personally been to any museum remotely like it so the experience was fascinating. If you are a history buff or want to know more about music and Seattle, then this is a place to spend a few hours

Such a great experience. Really enjoyed it. Grateful they had non-music exhibits for my husband who isn t as unto music as I am. (He s into fantasy & sci-fi movies more than I am, so it worked out great!).

Superb place of Seattle, for musicians, you will come across a lot of guitars multiple legends sublimated by a work of art representing a geyser of instruments. You will discover the history of horror movies, science fiction ... that rocked your teenage years. Hours of exciting visit.
