Bought a car in March and from day 1 I had warning signs appear on the dash so as you do phoned them up.
But due to lockdown it was all very slow. Appeared to be all sorted however all appeared again so not happy. So see what they say this time.

Recently sold my three year old car to Nick at Leeds Motor Company and would definitely recommend them. He was a good salesman but wasn't pushy at all and offered us a fair price for the car. He even let us keep the car for a couple of weeks whilst we waited for our new car to arrive (which we had already ordered elsewhere). He kept to the price we had agreed and transferred the money to us instantly online when we dropped the car off. If we were selling another car we would probably go back to them again. I dealt with kevin at the branch on Commercial road I found him very helpful and friedly I purchased a VW Polo 1.4 this month and it drives very well with a low mileage of 28k. Fantastic company which made the part exchange and purchase of a car seamless. Being a typically ignorant woman about cars, Tony was professional and informative about the whole process involving my car for part exchange, purchase of a car on site and with finance for the remaining balance. The transaction was easy and nothing was too much trouble, even when I returned from a test drive and highlighted a dash board button error, it was rectified inshop ready for collection three days later. The paperwork was straight forward, policies and next steps explained including warranty and the car was in immaculate condition. Super pleased and easy to deal with, no pushy terms or pressure. When contacting Nick about looking at car I was interested in, after traveling over 50 miles I was left to my own devices to look over the car, no pressure what so ever. Do not buy ything from this company. You live to regret it and the rudeness of the service should you complain. Its a chav garage with nice looking cars that are worn out and ready for the skip.

Do yourselves a favour and Go to a proper garage. The dogy portacabin set up should set alarm bells ringing. And if you serch google there is enough unhappy people this past year who bought from them. Im so distressed and left with no car as the repoairs outweight the vehicles worth now. Its called being ripped off and conned.

I'm on my 5th car from LMC and friends and family have also bought cars from there, good service and attitude towards customers, I like to change my car every couple of years or so and this is the first place i look, not over priced or pushy, see you in a couple of years guys

Purchased my car in February 2016.
Spotted the car on Trader travelled 50 mins to view the car, on arrival first impressions was not good due to the premises. But after been left to myself to be able to checkout the car, I decided to buy. On collection day arrived to see my car looking spotless also with four brand new tyres, which I was very impressed with.
On driving away from Leeds motor company I noticed a knocking noise, and seemed to get worse. Contacted Leeds motor company arranged a date to take car back, on returning back with my car there seemed to be a bit of confusion after my previous telephone conversation with Nick who was not present, but the gentleman who was in the office was very helpful and friendly, who put me onto the mechanic and did not take him long to identify the issue. The mechanic then worked with me fully understood that I had a distance to travel, and made the process of getting the issue resolved very pleasant.
A big Thank-you to both the mechanics.

Purchased a BMW from here just shy of a year ago, came all the way from North Wales! Yes there is a big time difference in writing the review but you cant judge how the car is after a few weeks so it's why I now left a review.
Everything went smoothly as soon as I arrived on the forecourt, there was a slight mark on the bonnet which I didn't even notice but they fixed the same day.
Overall very happy with the car and service received can't fault them!

Just bought my second car from here. Had a focus for over 3 year and it passed Mot every year with no problems. Just bought a lovely Astra at a great price and am very happy with it. Had friends buy from here and the cars they bought were also spot on. If you have any problems on your test drive they will go out of there way to get it fixed before you buy it. Very helpful guys. Will be getting all my cars from here in future.

I suffer with anxiety so as one can imagine buying a car was quite a nervous time for me. The sales rep Nick was very kind and reassuring which gave me the confidence to go ahead and purchase the car. I have only had the car a week but so far so good and i will update periodically to advise. Nick was very obliging and patient i would recommend this company.

Wouldn t even get a 1 star. We paid a holding fee for a car that we wanted to go away and think about overnight. We were told we would get the holding fee back if we changed our mind. Well, we changed our mind and guess what, after several phone calls, and emails, and them pretending to refund by pressing the card reader buttons whilst on the phone to them, we are still out of pocket. Be very careful dealing with these guys. It s not until after this that we have heard terrible terrible things about this company. They will rob you blind.

I rang Leeds motor company regarding a car, the salesman was really helpful explaining all the details, I placed a deposit and asked if the car could be delivered to my house in Nottingham, he said yes and by the end of the week there was a shiny car on my drive. After buying my Golf last August I have had nothing but problems with it. When purchasing he car I also bought the 12 month warranty. After a few days of having it the car appears to have trouble starting. I phone up Leeds motor company and they didn't want anything to do with and tried to laugh it off and pass on the blame.

After taking my car to the local garage no faulty initially came up on the fault reader after being at the garage for almost a week. Last week this is now the third time since August my car has been in the garage only to find there is a problem with the Air flow meter. Absolute joke! Our car was recently written off in the floods and so we had a weekend to try and find a new car in order to get to work - very stressful! We spent Friday and Saturday travelling all through Huddersfield, Wakefield, Harrogate etc trying to find a decent car. At every place we tried the cars were either over-priced, malfunctioning (!) or we were treated like cattle by the staff in the sense that they just wanted us to buy something and move on. On Sunday we visited the various car dealerships on Kirkstall Road. At all of them we had the same experience except for Leeds Motor Company. We were offered a drink and then left to look around and when we found something to look at there was no pressure and no sales pitch - we were just left to it. Nick was more than happy to let us have two test drives. We then decided to go away and think about it - now, usually, at this point, car salespeople start to apply a bit of pressure and a bit of blarney - but not from Nick. He was happy to let us go away and I think that is from the confidence that he has in the quality of his cars and the service. Suffice to say, we returned within the hour and bought the car, a Suzuki SX4. It was checked over by the garage on-site and we drove away tonight extremely happy with our purchase. Our daughter is looking for a car and I am looking for one later this year and we will be starting our search here. I suggest you do the same.
Everyone has had experiences of second hand car sales and, generally they are not good. I cannot recommend Leeds Motor Sales highly enough - if you want efficiency, friendliness, honesty and service then come here. If you want the usual rubbish go anywhere else and more fool you!

Bought a few cars in my time from some questionable dealers and sales persons, and I have to say...the guys down at LMC are a different breed altogether! Sorry, I can't remember the chaps name we dealt with, but 1st class service.
We turned up to look at a car and was expecting to be pounced upon...I wasn't. Had a good look around the car without being hassled, at all! Then asked if I could look inside, he just handed over the keys and said to have a look, do my own thing.
We bought the car in the end, partly because the service was brilliant and because the price of the car was good. Not a single complaint at all.
I'll for sure be going back here for any 2nd hand cars in the future!

Came here with my partner on Saturday 3rd August about 4pm. The man that seemed to be here on his own had no interest in us. In fact he had no interest in selling a car. We had travelled almost 2 hours to get here and we had the intention of buying the car. There was no welcoming. When we approached him he just passed the keys. No politeness. No introduction. No talk. We were willing to let this all pass as we had come such a long way and we were pleased with what we had seen. We sat down to talk to him. Asked him if he could tell us about the car. Laughed and said what do you want to know? Then the phone rang and he did say he was going to answer the phone and proceeded to have his long conversation. That s when we did decide enough was enough and we left him to it. Waste of time. We looked at reviews before we came. Really disappointed. Maybe he thought we could not afford it, probably thought we were time wasting. Well that s what me and my partner said. Because we still can not work out why he did not want to help us or talk to us. Never again would we come here again even if they were giving cars away for free we would not come.

Recently bought a DS4 from here. Looked all over Autotrader and for the mileage and price, this was by far the best deal. Spoke with Chris who was really helpful and allowed us to put a refundable deposit down as we were travelling 70 miles to view the car. Went on a Saturday to look at it and we were impressed with the car so bought it. The car was immaculate had a new MOT and 4 new tyres. We noticed a scratch down the near side and NIck arranged to have it removed there and then. A week later the car developed a battery fault, spoke to Nick and it was sorted straight away. I got a new battery locally and the money was transferred in to my bank straight away. Can't fault the service we received from this garage. Would highly reccomend.

I drove up from Nottingham and purchased a 2009 plate Ford Mondeo 2.2 Titanium x with just 38000 miles on the clock on Bank Holiday Monday 2017. Not pushy in any way, was thrilled to be able to give me such a great deal on my part-ex and had my new car spick and span and ready to go, and was even perfectly happy for me bring the car back for the handbrake tightening at no cost to me and completely at my convenience. I have had a few cars from this companey (leeds motor company) over the past years of driving and i have never had a problem all cars go through a thorough inspection before sold, I have enjoyed going here for my cars for a few reasons, they are a good and trustworthy company and do not pressurise you in to buying a car that is not right for you unlike most dealers do. i bought a golf today I told them what I wanted and they produced a list of cars in which i browsed in my own time no salesman hanging over me etc etc, picked my car took for a test drive and bought it. I would highly recommend leeds motor company for their chilled out relaxed environment and good quality assured cars which range from high end to budget cars. as for the bad reviews i have read, I have always got my cars from them and not had a single problem with any of my cars, however cars do and always will at some point break down or have faults, blaming a company for a car you bought from them dose not make the company to blame, leeds motor company put all the cars throu strict tests to assure safety and mechanical integrity throughout the car, they can do alote of things to make sure the car they sell is safe and in good working order however they can not anticipate the cars future.

I purchased a car from Leeds Motor Company almost a month ago now, I have had no issues whatsoever and the car drives really well. The salesman I bought the car from was called Sam and he was great he gave me the time to look around the car and let me take it for a test drive I didn't feel I was being pressured like you do at other dealers. Recently purchased a car at LMC and was floored by how courtesey and easy to work with compared to other dealers. There was no pressure during the buying process and LMC was able to work with me to make the purchase a reality even if it required a little bit longer. After the sale LMC did an excellent job of prepping the car making sure it was clean inside and out and that it was ready for miles to come.

I cannot fault Leeds Motor Company. From visiting to look at a car seen on website to picking up the car. There was no hard sell, given keys to look around at leisure. Genuinely friendly and helpful, not your typical false salesman friendly. When we went to pick car up it had been cleaned inside and out and was absolutely spotless. Great customer service from the guys at Leeds Motor Co, I've had my Golf now for three weeks and love it!! The whole process was smooth from start to finish and I never felt like Nick the salesman was pushy in any way like some of the other salesman I encountered on my quest to find my new car. I don't normally leave many reviews but felt compelled to write this one after I called up to let them know that the battery was struggling on a morning, unfortunately this wasn't covered by my warranty but they said bring it down and they will replace it - I was fully expecting to pay but the did it for me FOC. I would highly recommend !!

I can say that I have had a genuinely excellent experience with Leeds Motor Company. I travelled across from Liverpool to see a Limited Edition Vauxhall Astra. Everything was exactly as described. I was made most welcome by the salesman, Nick, and I was invited to test drive the car unaccompanied, which I thought was most trusting. In the negotiations to by the car, I made an exeptional request that the engine bay be cleaned. On the day of purchase, the car was valeted top to bottom to an exceptional standard including the engine bay! Great guys, really enjoyed my experience.

I came down to LMC just browsing for a car and Oli the salesman was very happy to help, and i ended up making a purchase and buying a suzuki swift, Oli was very easy to speak to and felt comfortable to deal with , liked the experience

Absolutely superb service from Nick and the team. After finding the car on Ebay and a call to Nick everything was put in place for me to collect the car. As I was travelling 140 miles I wanted to do everything on the same day. I arrived early (08:30) and was invited in for a coffee whilst I wait. Nick arrived and after a nice test drive we sat down did the paperwork (car received a valet whilst we did paperwork) and that was it I was on my way. It is nice to be able to trust a garage to accurately describe the vehicles and that was definitely the case here. I went for a 2010 TT tdi which was absolutely stunning and well worth the 280 mile round trip.

I can't comment on long term service, but me and my partner recently bought a car at this garage (June 2018) and the whole experience was fantastic. Initially we couldn't decide on what we wanted but we worked with Nick to come up with some options. We always felt comfortable talking about our budget and at no point did we receive any hard sell at all! When we had decided what we wanted, Nick sourced the car for us in about half an hour and everything was really straightforward and easy from there. We were even able to trade our old banger for a 12 months warranty on the new car. Top service all round!
