Laid back and friendly site, ideal location on the beach and close to town

I would prefer a campsite without animations and therefore less expensive.

Great campsite ..... Bakery .... Super U .... small walk in the morning .... At the entrance to the beautiful island super team and home.

We stopped in the camper area adjacent to the campsite. Pitch with sea view, pass the cycle path to reach the town. In July 2017 we paid 17.50 with electricity. The water load costs 3 euros for 15 min. of dispensing.

Not ok when you want to stay up to 17hil you pay for one more night which is normal and other does not pay it must be at the customer's head

Too bad no papers in the toilet already take the bikes to go.pas patiot the day to drink a beer or other to get to know our young people. Have to sleep before 00h because the supervisors come to tell you to speak very softly.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks.
The campsite is well placed with access to 2 places, the village and the cycle paths.
The mobile home is well equipped and clean.
The animation team are top notch whether it's at Campitoo that Lucas and Noah loved or the adult entertainment that we loved. Evenings at the bar are great thanks to Pady's welcome and good humor. The only downside: the evenings end at midnight and the security guards push us to hurry up to finish our drinks and leave, they are just doing their job but it's not very pleasant.

Very well received gives good advice to visit or take the bus to get to La Rochelle. The locations are very large. The sanitary very clean.

Camping mainly camper no mobile home, sanitary for some can clean with unpleasant smell, pleasant and welcoming team, animations worthy of campsites ...
Bar open only in the evening and not doing bad damage knowing that there is not enough fridge rental for everyone kind of service would be a real plus, good pool but we have to cross the main road to get there because in the campsite opposite the same group.

No complaints

Camping with generally small places. Car must be placed in front of the caravan. That means a strip of approx. 1.5 meters for the awning. Maybe nicer if the cars are set apart. Animation only in French, too bad. We had booked well in advance with the ocean view, unfortunately. The most beautiful places are for the French. The swimming pool is located at La Redout campsite, which is also a shame. The island is very beautiful, only from another campsite.

Menu at 30 ... divine !! Quality products cooked masterfully !!! And all with a well-paced service while smiling and with attention.

Great, especially when you get up in the morning and have breakfast, you have a sea view and the sunrise is great. The very nice and super nice welcome, I'll spend there well July and August here, it's worth it. Really go go there you will not be disappointed, it is well spaced the pitches are large to put tent or caravan, there are even bungalows with superb terraces really it is at the top and everything on a beautiful island of magnificent re.

Very noisy, there were fights, gendarmes, that problems, did not have to be present at the right time!

we came for 2 weeks in massai lodge from mid July to early August.
The lodgings were drinkable, the shower blocked, the soil wobbly, the repairs done anyhow.
animation level .... we are still looking for it. yet we tried to participate in everything. quiz, concert etc ... but here it would be good to have a real team and not a bunch of young people who have nothing to do with it.
children's entertainment level, not bad, the girls put their goodwill into it.
on the other hand no covid measurement, the mask remains only a gadget.
we tested the collective showers and toilets, a renovation would not hurt. everything is still very dilapidated.

to conclude, a well-placed campsite because it looks out over the sea but far too expensive given the services or not, the lack of entertainment, service etc ...

Great campsite with a good atmosphere with the beach somewhere and the swimming pool not far away.

Very nice home. Sanitary clean. Housing not too close to each other. Nice animations. BUT camping against the bottom of the road near 30 meters. Too bad to get so many gasoline vapors during vacations. Not to mention the noise. The road that passes in front of the campsite is the one coming down from the bridge of the island: a stream of cars incessant at certain hours.
Too bad because everything is nearby: market every morning, village 2 steps ...

Clean, quiet and friendly campsite, located by the sea. Pleasant staff.

Very noisy campsite, friendly staff, massai accommodation super nice even if the household leaves something to be desired (dust sheep under the beds). Little problem when the children came to join us. Make me pay 107 euros for a small canvas 2 people who was planted on the same site as the massai. Not too digested !!!

Good location 2 steps from the sea, nice pool, lack of natural beach animations with lots of seaweed ..... narrow locations.

Simple but clean campsite just after the bridge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The toilets are fairly new and clean. There is a simple pool. The campsite is directly adjacent to the beach in the north, to the - much nicer - beach in the south there are five minutes. Shops and restaurants are minutes away. Unfortunately, there is little play for children, but the beach is right on the spot.

Big problem with the access to the pool they want to enforce the regulation of swimsuits but take liberties with which annoys me to know not possible to bathe in shorts but it leaves the boxers that we can have on have been for two days and each supervisor does what he wants

Located on either side of the road - the pool complex is on the south side. We camped on the north side just yards from the beach. The pitch was about average size and ok.
We thought we were near a toilet block but it was just showers - the toilet block was a fair walk away and quite basic. We only stayed one night as it was just a stop over for us - remember that there is a 16 Euro toll on the bridge to add to the cost of camping.
We were at the end of the main season, and there was constant road noise through the night as people left to miss the traffic - we got caught in it the next day!

Rather noisy (near the road), water points too few and too far), otherwise good proximity to the center and shops.

Nice spot and staff ok,showers not the best but clean and toilets clean, for the price its okay. Nice walks and if you ride a push bike you are in heaven.shops close and bars and bus stop to main towns outside site.

Nice place to be close to the beach and lots of activities for children and adults.
The camping is a bit too close to the road and we really hear the cars and bikes during the night and day.

Very friendly staff, large pitch with electricity right on the water. Clean sanitary facilities for French conditions. Many bike paths across the island or to La Rochelle. Baker and 7/7 supermarket opposite. Highly Recommended! Price per night 2 pers. 21 including electricity and showers is absolutely justified.

For me, we should think of more WCs there is really a lack

There was a lot of cockroach which was a shame but it is nature, more often there were evenings where the music was really strong until 00:00, I want to understand that we can have fun in holidays but there are others who would like to rest. Ending with a positive note the staff of the campsite was welcoming and very friendly, we often discussed with them including the pool.

Very welcoming, had a pitch facing the sea and with direct access, small downside to the land (sand pebbles) to pitch the tent on part of the plot next door. Clean sanitary facilities and hydroalcoholic gel available ...

Party in May 2018 we loved tents equipped with everything is perfect cheaper and everything was perfect home very pleasant ... after it's normal it's in the low season. I do not understand the people who complain about the noise, and the price in high season PAAAS although to be too demanding to avoid the noise it is necessary to leave in a house in full mountain ... In hoping to find places available count coming mid-August with a little luck. I highly recommend...

Camping really at the top. Great location and rates are affordable!

Camped for 1 night. Friendly, helpful staff. Fairly clean site good size pitches and wonderful access to the beach. Free WiFi and better showers would have made it a 5 star for me.

Nice camping right on the beach. No beach but ideal for walks. Camping facilities a bit older but adequate. Unfortunately only electric grills allowed in the square.

The place and clean proximity of the beach and for fishing enthusiasts it is ideal disadvantages narrow place and sanitary should go further

In the area reserved for motorhomes, pity that there is no sanitary.
Otherwise perfect location, near the sea and a small super market.

The campsite is very nice sea side, cons, a small note about the camp site, people come as soon as the office closed to do their laundry, their dishes, their shower, this for free!

Very friendly campsite with lots of entertainment for adults and children. Beach nearby as well as the small market. On the other hand, the mobile homes are on top of each other with a huge view ... the pool is very beautiful but no respect for the rules such as swimming underpants in the pool, balloons and other inflatable toys and even people with drinks in the water !!

Regarding the camping car area .. It is correct for a stopover of 1 or 2 nights .. It remains a bit expensive Qd even
