This place could be so much better but the bartenders are out of touch.. you get bartenders and better entertainment would give this place a face lift

There is a new chef in the house and the food is really good now! The burgers, quesadillas and nachos are really good! We love the bartender's, Amanda and Celeste. It's so nice when you have a smiling bartender who doesn't just talk with the regulars or play on their phone and ignore you! These ladies work hard and keep up with everyone!

Hands down, the best burgers in San Antonio. Loved the atmosphere here and while you have to wait a bit to be served, it's truly a great experience. The staff makes you feel as if you have always belonged here.

service is way to slow... cant get a drink sometimes

This has got to be the funkiest place on Thousand Oaks. The food is top shelf bar food. The bartenders are true mixologists. Get Derek (sorry if misspelled) to make you an old fashioned with tequila, or a bees knees! Yum! I guarantee you will have a great time.

Absolutely loved it. I went on Thanksgiving and saw the cowboys game and the saints game. Let's just say I'm most definitely going back when the saints play. It's a great place to watch football games. Their cucumber tini is the best!

Great place, if you're young and looking for a small but chill spot this is the place... Love Tuesday $1.25 night... It's awesome

Went to check out their new burgers and WOW seriously one of the best juciest, flavorfull and filling burgers I've had! I would recommend this spot for eats and drinks.

Great neighborhood bar IMO! They have good food and drinks, there's plenty of room on the patio generally and they have a couple of really great bartenders. They recently redid their entire menu and lost a few items that I would say were fan favorites, both for myself and a number of my friends. Still plenty of decent options to be had, but gone in the Blue Cheese buffalo burger I used to hold so dear. ;(

That all said, while I love this place, I do think they have a flaw that should be called out. They tend to not have quite enough staff during peak times and in this past I have noticed this can impact both drink quality and wait times up at the bar. Still, from an overall perspective, still gotta give EO 5-stars!

Reasonably priced drinks and a fun, laid-back atmosphere. The bartenders have all been attentive and personable. One of my favorite bars in the area!

Amazing, wings, burgers and Nachos are amazing. The staff is even better. Kelly just gets it behind the bar with a smile always!

Roomy, spacious bar. Everyone is so friendly and the bar and bathrooms are clean. Nice outdoor seating area and good food.

Celeste at Evil Olive went above and beyond when I lost my Ring. I originally thought I misplaced my ring somewhere in the house, but it was actually on the floor at Evil Olive. Celeste completely went out of her way in hunting down the owner and it is a long story on how she was able to find me and for this I am so GRATEFUL. THANK YOU CELESTE!

Great service.. Poorboys need work but love the atmosphere and I have a place every sunday to and watch the Saints play surrounded by other Saints fans

Amazing! Karaoke is fun! The bartenders are super sweet. It's an amazing enviroment.

I enjoy the place, drinks and people! Just plan on paying cash vs opening a tab. If they change shifts while your tab is open they'll close it out, add their own tip on & you won't get a receipt of any sort. The next shift can't pull it up to get you one either. If it weren't for that I'd have nothing but positive to say about the place!

Fun and exciting environment. The drinks are awesome and the staff is always friendly! I rated the number one sports bar in the city San Antonio.

Always liked this place. I go on Sundays when saints play. Saints headquarters place. Fun atmosphere. Drinks are good too.

Amazing bar! Great staff and great people! Drinks are very affordable and the games are fun.

Eat before you go on a Sunday, they literally have one cook and orders get backed up so you wait over an hour and a half for your food. And forget holding a table, the owner wanted to take two extra chairs we were holding even though we got there an hour before the game at opening. Too bad the atmosphere and energy the DJ brings is phenomenal but paired with poor customer service on the bars part.

This is a kook bar, nice place to drink and smoke outside. Food is ok for bar food but not great. Service is good and customers friendly.

Atmosphere was great and Amanda was awesome! She took great care of us! Drinks were on point and food was really good! Will definitely be coming back.

Shouldn't take 10 minutes to close a tab when it's dead

This is definitely a place for regulars. It seems like everyone knows each other which is nice but can be a little overwhelming. The food is great but service can be very slow unless you are one of the aforementioned regulars. They have live music which is often way too loud and distracting.

This was my first time here. I felt welcome walking in. The staff is friendly the bar is clean. It is a chill bar. If I'm ever on this side of town looking for a place to have a drink I would definitely come back

We had a blast watching the Saints vs Rams game at the bar. Great crowd of people, lots of families and friends there. They had a DJ to hype the crowd and it was a non-stop party during the entire game. Most impressive was the cleanliness of the restrooms with the bar at capacity; standing room only... great job by the staff keeping the facilities clean and the drinks flowing.

Good atmosphere for Saints game. DJ likes to hear himself talk. If you want to watch the game and listen to the broadcast, not the best place to go.

Food sucks. Bartenders, drinks, atmosphere is top notch! If Derrick is there ask for something special.....you sure as hell will get it and won't be dissatisfied!

It is a great local bar that has a great atmosphere and is awsome for a local place on New Years.

I don't drink alcohol but a friend told me the blue cheeseburger was pretty good. No Josh, the blue cheeseburger isn't just "good." It's the best blue cheeseburger in San Antonio. Yes, it's better than those places that I won't mention here but we all know. They understand what 'medium-well' means and the meat was salt and peppered perfectly without any other strong spices that would distract from the melted yummy blue cheese all over that bad boy. The bread was soft and the lettuce crisp and shredded(as all burger greens should be). I destroyed the burger and left a happy man with grease, mustard, and blue cheese dripped down to my elbows. No digestive issues as of this morning either. Thank you, evil olive. I wasn't expecting THAT.

This is a fun little neighborhood bar, with more than 10 TVs for your favorite sports games, two dart electronic dart boards, one pool table, and a couple of video arcade games.

There s a small stage for music or a DJ. They don t have table service. You have to order you food at the bar, but they will bring it to your table when it s ready. The only problem with this, is sometimes there is no bartender available if you are looking to quench your thirst.

They have about 6 beers on tap.

Guess who the chef in the kitchen is! None other than Kris Martinez from the infamous Rocker Dogz: Gourmet Hot Dog stand of yester year.

His menu here ROCKS, and some of it is inspired by his former creations. For example, check out the Bella Bleu Burger, based on his Bella Blue hot dog from years ago. Gorgonzola bleu cheese, applewood smoked bacon, mustard, and a red wine onion reduction sauce. You just don t find food of this quality and flavor in establishments like this. Come here for the food and enjoy the beer and games as a bonus. But again, Kris knocks the food out of the ballpark here.

Another favorite of mine is a holdover from his way back days are the Tricked Out Tator Tots. You have GOT to experience these before you die! They are tator tots drizzled with a magically flavored sriracha mayo, Parmesan cheese and secret herbs and spices.

Kris also contributed to the success of the DogFather and another restaurant in San Antonio for some time. You have to follow this dude around town and enjoy his creative culinary creations. He is an AWESOME chef - and I mean that - he is a CHEF!

Mainly burgers at the Evil Olive that range between $8 and $10 but they have a few appetizers as well.

If Kris ever brings the hot dogs back again, you MUST try the Thai Kickboxer that was my favorite from back in the day. But it has been many years since I had one.

Bottom line Evil Olive is a great place to have fun but Chef Kris is what makes it THE place to go to!

This was a great bar! I had a great time with good friends, great music, strong drinks, a gorgeous and talented bartender, and even the food was delicious. They have giant Jenga which lead to a bar full of laughs. Good times.

Your female bartender on Wednesday night was extremely combative and rude! Her customer service was severely lacking as I felt attacked. No excuse to behave like that. I have been in the service industry for many years and never treated anyone with such distain.
