This place operates with the competency of the DMV. For not being a government institution, they sure operate like one. I ve been takin classes here on and off for about 10years. Nothings changed. They have something you need and they don t care about anything as long as they get their money.

EVCC just laid off 25 employees, some who had more than 30 years on the job, without notice and without following their collective bargaining agreement.
If EvCC doesn t treat their employees fairly, they won t treat students fairly and they show disregard for the community.
Everett CC laid off workers without following their union's contract! Some of these staff members had worked for the college for more than 30 years. I can't condone a college that harms the people that make it function this way. This is especially cruel during the pandemic and economic recession.
I am absolutely appalled by the actions of Everett Community College! They have breached the Collective Bargaining Agreement by illegally laying off their staff!
Difficulties with one of the financial assistance representative. She wasn t very helpful and was rude. My daughter completed all the necessary financial aid paperwork weeks ago including myself turning in the IRS and financial documents needed for her to apply for financial aid. Jordan, the financial assistance staff wasn t very willing to answer questions and ended up hanging up on my daughter never to answer the phone again. She received an email indicating she didn t meet the deadline to begin school this quarter. She had turned in all documents multiple times. We escalated the situation to leader ship and the financial aid issues were quickly resolved and my daughters account was placed on hold so that she is able to get into school this quarter. After more consideration, we have chosen to pursue education at Seattle Central CC, this school is not the right fit for us. We all have to remember that when we are taking roles and employment and helping the community and serving others, we truly have to feel that way inside. We really have to have empathy and compassion and love for others and working a role where people are going to need your help and ask questions. It takes patience. And if you don t have that, maybe you should consider a different career. Seattle Central community college has taken my daughter on and she really enjoyed her teachers and her class and I think that was the best choice.
Only a 2-star because the lady that did the intake paperwork with me was very kind I trusted her with my information and ever since that day we had that appointment my phone is been blowing up with Sam so good luck applying for Grants or scholarships without being harassed I am upset that they gave my number out I have protected it from spammers for 15 years I can't now
