My 16 yr old daughter went on vacation with my sister and her husband and kids and had to be treated here, they called for consent for treatment and seemed to be treating my daughter great!

I have 3 children- now, who have all visited the Hospital at one time or another. My latest visit being with my 4 week old son. He felt really warm to me and My digital thermometer told me that he was well over 100 degrees with his temperature, being so small and after office hours, I panicked and brought him straight in to be evaluated. EVERYONE there took me seriously. They didn t make me wait, took us straight back to triage, and within minutes we were in a room. Our nurses were fantastic, explaining everything to me and asking me if they could get me anything to drink. They ended up doing an entire panel of tests (blood work, urine sample, nose swab) and those all came back normal. It was determined that it was just my digital thermometer reading falsely and I needed to get a rectal thermometer for a more accurate reading. I can t say good enough things about Dr. Craig. She was AMAZING, she listened more than she talked, complimented how cute my sweet boy was, and left NO leaf unturned. Like I said, I have frequented this hospital with all of my kids, I ve also always had positive experiences... however, Dr. Craig really stood out to me. I really hope she (and my nurses) get recognized for their efforts. I appreciate being taken seriously more than anything and although it was a fluke (my child is fine) they never acted inconvenienced or bothered. Thanks you all!

It s crazy to me that I say for 4 hours at this hospital my child screaming in pain the whole time yet I was looked at as a foolish person for my child screaming.. We wasn t the only ones here with this issue. I work in medical I get the issue being short staff but fit a child screaming in pain to have no help. Sad !!!

Best hospital ever, my boyfriend being 20 and still allow to come treated him so well.

We were quite disappointed in the services provided by the ER. The staff move at a snail's pace. Prepare to wait, and wait, and wait..... The poor kids in the ER waiting area are miserable. We moved out here for the beautiful scenery and hospitality, but found medical services very lacking here in Knoxville. Next time I will try to find a different ER and hope they will see kids. This is definitely not a child-friendly place.

Very disappointed with wait time , employees very unsatisfied my guess is they bill your insurance company so the more wait time the better very rude staff!! Just so unsatisfied with 4 hours waiting and still no answer on ex rays just crazy please read reviews before coming here go to the next closest hospital if possible

Slowest emergency room I have ever been to !!! I feel sorry for the kids that are very sick . I almost left because of the wait time. It s a nice facility and nice staff but really that wait time is crazy ridiculous.

I m very disappointed with the services in the emergency waiting area. I wouldn t rate this, I had too. This staff definitely ruined my day. She is so rude and very disrespectful. There are other ways of saying things. You should definitely check your staff good and hire better people. I m still waiting because my son needs to be seen and YES it s important. This girl made it seem like we are here for nothing. Also teach her that Hispanics also need to be treated the same way. Iv been here listening to everything and her approach is very different.

Avoid this hospital if possible they are slow. By the time you get seen ur doctor's office will be opened. I will not be back because even if you have an emergency they don't get in a hurry.

I have been bringing my now nearly 5 year old daughter here since she was diagnosed with leukemia at 1 year old. The people here are family, and this is our other home.
