Fantastic food - top level pastries and well balanced dishes. Lovely decoration and very friendly service. I live in NYC and wish we had a place like Eva's bakery here. Highly recommended!

I have to agree with the people who said horrible service. Last week I got two pastry items. The cashier girl short changed me a dollar and then flicked my box across the counter to me. A friend of mine said they went to eat in and service was very slow. All in all there are a few good pastry items but many are not good. They subscribe to the current fad of "caramelized" = overdone or outright burnt. Ick! I've been to Paris so I know what a real boulangerie is like. This is Salt Lake City but nice try. Just focus on making higher quality baked goods and get rid of your staff and start over! At this point I won't be back.

During my hols in SLC last week and being from Belgium I couldn't resist this bakery. The outside of the bakery reminded me slightly of a "French" one.
Tried out some pastries and yummy, they were good! Regular croissant and a chocolate one were delicious.
Certainly not to be missed when being in Downtown SLC!

Perfect croissants, I never thought I'd find a place that makes good croissants in the US but Eva's has proved me wrong. Flakey gorgeously laminated dough risen beautifully and baked to perfection. They taste, feel, and look perfect. Perhaps a tad big but I'm not complaining! I stop by every time in in the city.

Best place to get coffee that the downtown metro area has to offer. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that gets the job done! Always get my order right and seem to know it before I even get to the register. Great job girls, keep it up. Bonus points: they totally don't judge if you happen to be sneaking in to grab a quick coffee and are haggard looking or hungover (personal experience) and they'll get you in & out asap.

The food was delicious! It was pretty packed when we were there (around 9am), but it was worth it. You can order pastries to go from the display case or get a table and order full meals. I had the French Frittata meal and it was awesome, especially the potatoes that come with it.

Visiting out of town and stumbled upon this little gem. Walking in took me right back to Italy (even though it is obviously more of a French influence) and I loved it. The customer service was luke warm in my opinion...not bad but not super great. My blt sandwich was easily one of the best sandwiches of my life though, and it really is just the cutest little place.

My girlfriend and I stumbled on this spot and expected just a little bakery. Little did we know that it was so much more! We were headed to the opera and were pressed for time and we let the host know. The gentleman informed us that we had plenty of time. We were seated promptly, ordered as such, saved received our food. Everything was fantastic. The lady had the French toast and it was stellar. Great place.

What better place to get brunch. Take a cute pic, meet up and catch up with the girls. All the while enjoying such delicious food. Their french toast is to die for. I order it every time I go.

My work is close by and I like to stop by for a quick pastry.

I can't say enough about this place. I love all the details...the dishes they use, the decor, the chalkboard menus, the taste of their coffee, the real cream they use, their classy brunch items...it is one of my favorite places to bring ppl who are visiting me in SLC.

I m told the food is good. I wouldn t know. After taking our order and giving us our drinks, we were ignored by everyone (including our waitress) for the next 40 minutes. After finally waving down a different waitress who noticed we d been there a while, we were informed that our order was lost . Ok, I get that mistakes happen, but did our waitress who walked past us at least a dozen times really not notice that something was not right? I have great respect for those waiting tables. They put up with a lot and I m always generous in my tips, but come on. Spend a little time training your staff. Seems I ll never know if the stuffed French toast I ordered is any good.

Perfect - divinely perfect. Save the airline fee and covid risk on a flight to Paris and drive to downtown Slc for the crisp flakey buttery yum mines of Evas Bakery. Croissants that tantalize the tastebuds, almond croissants that pull apart and have the perfect blend of almond paste to bread and beautifully toasted almonds- and the Mocha? Handmade in house chocolate sauce without the nasty syrup after taste!
And the macaroons? Don t even get me started...

Strongest ice coffee I've had in my entire life. That $#+! Slaps!! Also, just the cutest French style bakery in salt lake. Coffee, atmosphere, and pastries are all great. If you're having a slow morning or afternoon or whatever, stop by!

First, I NEVER give fives, so giving four stars means a lot to me.

I m accustomed to being disappointed or, mostly underwhelmed. At first, I was, but my perception was quickly erased by helpful staff, good green tea and those evil, evil, evil, gluten-free macaroons.

It s my first visit to Salt Lake City and this is one of several shops that are welcoming and have personalities all their own.

Have mimosa on menu but would not serve it at 8am on Wednesday. Why have it if you don't serve it in the morning? Who drinks mimosas afternoon?

Great little bakery! Always full of friendly, welcoming staff and delicious, mouth watering treats. Their baristas make fantastic lates...cappuccinos...you name it. It's a great place to meet with friends or study, and they also have fast and efficient carry out options. If you stop in, make sure you grab an almond croissant.

The storefront is obviously the cutest thing in SLC. The chocolate croissants are to die for. I've tried other entrees and desserts, which are also delicious, but I don't leave without a chocolate croissant that's been warmed up.

Tasteful decor, great coffee. It has a Manhatten vibe. A little pricy and I haven't had anything other than their sweets, but they are delicious and authentic and just grabbing a to-go coffee and pastry from Eva's boosts your spirits and it feels like a reward after a day at the office!

The quiche is incredible! Light crust and full of flavor! Comes with herb potatoes and little spring salad. Always fast service and the ready to eat stuff is great too. Strongly recommend!

Sooooo many great pastries, breads, all made from local organic flour! The coffee us great too.

The only reason for a 4 star is because there didn't see to be any urgency in any of the employees. It took 15inutes to get a black iced coffee... Other than that this place is really neat and worth a visit!

It depends on when you go... the first time I went, I had the Potato and Bacon Croque Monsieur + German Chocolate Croissant. Each bite was divine. I went for brunch another time and they barely had anything in the front. Decent service but love that everything is local.
