Romantic place for a romantic weekend.
I recommend the view of the douro. Day and night it is magnificent.
The staff are very friendly and caring.
I highly recommend
The hotel is very yummy. Large and well-appointed room. Attentive service and very good breakfast. For who is without car like me, the hotel is not practical. Away from the train station, out of hand from the central streets of Porto.Recommended but have legs to get there.
The hotel is very well located. The rooms with a view have a beautiful view although you have to approach the window to be able to see in most of them, and it pity not to have the glass front or a bigger window to enjoy the best of the hotel.
Breakfast is weak in terms of quality and quantity, and the service leaves much to be desired. Aspects that could be improved to achieve excellence. The mattresses in the bedrooms are very, very comfortable.
Hotel with a fantastic view! I would like to place special emphasis on the professionalism and cordiality of the staff. Highly recommend.
Amazing place with very professional people. Everything was like i imagined. Service was great, food was also delicious. I cant write anything bad about that place. Exellent place to stay. My favourite at this time
Very good rooms, very clean and a beautiful location.
Great hotel and reasonable room size, it consider one of tge biggest room in Porto hotels
A great hotel. We had reserved 4 nights in a room overlooking the river. On arrival we were surprised that we were given an upgrade and were allowed to use the suite on the first floor for 4 nights. A wonderful experience !! The breakfast every morning was also excellent. From salmon to French cheese, various kinds of wetness and sweets. In addition, a wide range of freshly cleaned fruit. And for the people who want to start the day cheerfully, there was also champagne.
Finally the compliment to the staff, because they are very friendly and helpful. An excellent hotel with a very nice view of the steel bridge (Porte Luiz 1) built by Mr. Eifel.
Just besides the river. Very good location, just 5 min walk to La Ribera . Rooms have views to the famous bridges. The online check in is worthless, it doesn t reduce the time in reception. Limited parking lot. (Just about 10 places). Wonderful breakfast.
Nice convenient for visiting the city and quiet for resting. Great breakfast!
Incredible breakfast / breakfast. Contains gluten free options. Great location and monumental view of the river Douro.
NO PARKING..Bad info about where to park. Lot suggested on on other side of bridge and no shuttle. No help with luggage...160 towing fee...cab to retrieve car...ruined stay...
It's a good hotel at breakfast.
It was less difficult to travel in the morning!
The staffs were kind and nice.
The reason why I subtracted one star is that I do not see the Louise 1 legs more than I thought ... + I have to walk a bit to play near the Sangbentu Station ...
Very comfortable, with very good services, excellent facilities and cleaning, very good staff attention
Small but comfortable room, bathroom very well, we understood that breakfast was included but they charged us 12 per person. And they didn't offer us a river view.
Had to change rooms as we were next to the walkway to the rooftop pool with lots of people walking by and looking straight into our room . New room although quite compact, was pleasant and had river views.
helpful staff and very well placed. The rooms are ok no more in this range but you get a splendid view of the Douro River and the famous bridge. Restaurant service in room good and breakfast. very honest with fresh fruit juice. Coffee cream or omelette is not easy to obtain apart from self-service devices.
Good location and river views. Clean and comfortable
For me, the best location! The breakfast is very, very good and its rooms are beautiful
Love this hotel only a few minutes walk to the start of the city. Right off the river and boardwalk.
Limited Car parking at 15 per day. Some misleading photos of the rooms, they used photos of the apartments instead of the hotel. There were some complacent attitudes, shame really.
The truth is that we went to the hotel for the location and the views it had. We loved it. It is super well cared for. Super well located, overlooking the river and the Don Luis Bridge. The rooms are large or spacious. We did not ask for a room with a river view and yet they gave it to us without paying any extra.
The attention of the reception staff, wonderful. The waiters at the buffet, it depended on who you got, not all of them were equally friendly.
If I return to Porto and there is availability, I will definitely return to this hotel.
Hotel very well situated by the river, a fantastic view. All very organized and attentive and mega caring employees
Nice hotel, good sized beds, nicely appointed and fairly basic. No gym which was a shame but they never claimed to have one. Great views, good location, courteous staff, clean and a good value
I was surprised because it was cleaner than I thought and the room was spacious.
Excellent hotel. Highlight the various pillows that the customer can choose. Great view of the city of Porto
Very happy with our stay at the hotel, the spaciousness of the room, the mattress, everything in general and the situation and the spectacular breakfast. I would repeat without a doubt
Very good, cozy, good breakfast and excellent location.
Hotel well located, with friendly service and great breakfast.
Location is superb, just over the Douro river. Rooms are clean and cozy; personnel is friendly. Breakfast is quite good though a bit more veggies wouldn't hurt
We really like this aparthotel on the banks of the Duero (it's a very quiet area, there are no restaurants, places to go for drinks or coffee shops).
The hotel is very new and there is a kitchenette in the room.
It also has a parking lot, since there is not much space to leave the car on the street.
There is also a bar where you can have a simple dinner, some soft drinks, cocktails, coffees, etc.
The hotel also offers the possibility of breakfast with free buffet.
They speak Spanish and other languages perfectly.
The customer service is excellent.
Highly recommend! Be sure to choose a room with a view of the river. This hotel is affordable, walk-able to Porto and Gaia, has comfortable beds, and excellent staff. Bonus: They put out free natas to eat every day! Our one complaint was that we could not change the thermostat - No matter what we set it to, the temperature did not change.
Great view of the Luis I bridge and very good location
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good and delicious.
The view is also very nice and romantic.
When you open the window, the river breeze blows, and the East Louis Bridge looks great.
If you choose this accommodation, it will be a comfortable and good experience in Porto.
Beautiful and luxurious hotel for good money and right in the center, everywhere near and near the bike rental and great pub.
Reasonable hotel..they do not have the customers luggage and they have to carry the bags ..very bad
Incredible service, they had no problems in antenderme in Spanish. They give you a welcome drink and spectacular views from the terrace
Awesome. 5 min walk from the center. The rooms with balcony overlooking the Douro: superb
Professional service. Magnificent views over the river Douro.
What a great hotel!
Check in was a breeze and the gentleman was very polite. We got 2 adjoining rooms with our friends and both rooms were decorated so nicely, had beautiful views of the river and bridge, and also had such comfortable beds. Bathrooms were well appointed with a nice standing rain shower, bidet, and more than the necessary toiletries. Bonus: robe and slippers for ultimate comfort and for pattering back and forth from hanging out at friends' room. Beyond that, it was so clean and nice.
Our stay included breakfast, and it was also awesome. Fresh and plentiful eggs, breads, fruits, breakfast meats, pastries (lots), coffee machines (Nespresso), yogurts, and more.
I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Porto. It's in a fantastic location, and is set just slightly further away from the craze of the Riviera while still being there :).
Great location. Excellent accomodation and an elaborate and exquisite breakfast buffet. The staff is friendly but the greatest advantage is just the quiet but oh so nearby location to the historic centre and the gorgeous view on the Dome Luis Bridge.
Extremely customer-friendly, beautiful and comfortable room and good location (close to the train to the upper city)
Excellent view of the Douro River and the Luiz I Bridge with an excellent location (5 to 10 minutes from Vila de Gaia).
Excellent hotel, next to the river, and only a few minutes walk to the city centre. Rooms are a little small, but offers excellent view. Staff are friendly and comes with a welcome drink.
Friendly, clean, spacious and pleasant, even breakfast is delicious. Good value for money.
Unbeatable location very close to the restaurant area
You couldn't ask for a better location and view. The room decor was antique and charming. Breakfast was great. A perfect choice for my stay in Porto which was also close to downtown and other attractions.
Very nice hotel. Good location, only parking a bit difficult
An excellent hotel with a magnificent view of the metal bridge * built by Eifel). We also received an upgrade from our room to a suite on the 1st floor without extra payment for 4 days.
It has been great, the staff super friendly and attentive. The great room, although not in the center is well located, next to the Bridge of Luis I.
The staff is very friendly, they take care of you a lot and are aware of every detail, the great breakfast and the beautiful rooms! Highly recommended!
Very quiet yet beautiful location. Only downside is the early closing time of the bar
Super helpful staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Convenient, picturesque location.
Superb hotel overlooking the river. I will surely come back for next vacation
Completely amazed, an incredible location with excellent staff.
How positive points:
- the friendliness of the staff
- the functionality of the hotel
- cleaning of rooms and common areas
- the views of the Douro
- The ubication
- Breakfast was varied and with quality. It will also be available until 11
The only negative point is that the hotel does not have a cafeteria or restaurant and if you do not want to leave the hotel you can only call the room service
Very close to the bridge "Maria Pia" Built by G. Eiffel, this hotel is located away from the bustle of the tourist area but only a few minutes walk from it.
Nice environment, helpful front desk staff; friendly staff in all areas.
Excellent location, close to points of interest. Very good staff, clean room. Really nice breakfast. Breakfast area has a great view of the river. Disadvantage are the back rooms that have no view but a big outside area proximal to the rocks on the back of the building
New hotel with beautiful furnishings, wonderful river views and friendly staff.
Good location, quiet area, just 800 meters from the Don Luiz I bridge and the leisure area next to the river.
Friendly treatment of staff and a splendid all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, both sweet and savory. They located us in the apartment area within the hotel itself. A spacious apartment for three people, which can be accessed from the street, without going through reception. The perfect double bed, but the uncomfortable sofa bed. A huge bathroom, with everything you need for cleaning, and a walk-in shower, which is appreciated. Highlight the general cleanliness of the entire establishment. They also have a left-luggage office to leave your luggage when you leave the room in case you want to take a last walk around the city.
I recommend it, and when I return to Porto we will stay at the Eurostars Porto Douro again.
PS: We keep a very nice memory of that trip, since 2 weeks later we went into a state of alarm, and today, it seems distant if not impossible to return to normality of those wonderful days in Portugal, when our only concern it was how short the trip was ...
Staff very friendly, definitely book a room facing the river, otherwise you look into the house wall. Breakfast is very good.
Great place to stay in Porto, facing the Douro River, with new and modern facilities. The staff are quite polite. Breakfast excellent.
Very new hotel with good rooms, views of the river, a step away from the center and at a good price. Of course, without a restaurant and with room service through the roof
River view and helpful stuff and facilities are neat and clean
Hotel of new construction, very clean comfortable facing the river. The staff very attentive, pleasant, friendly and helpful. Very limited parking, but it makes up for it with the terrace. The cheap breakfast and a lot of variety.
I recommend! Very nice! Fantastic view over the beautiful city of Porto . My hotel of choice in the city of Porto.
Newer hotel overlooking the Doro river. Walk to the funicular(cable car) which takes you up into the city area. The hotel is clean and beautiful but clearly lacks training of a four star hotel. The staff our young and friendly but training? Restaurant and bar hours were very limited. There are not many other close by places to relax and have a glass of wine. I suggest picking up your wine, cheese, meats, fruit and sweats and sit on the roof deck as the sun sets. Close to perfect. Other than limited service and hours the hotel is very nice
It's like being a pussy
There is also a microwave in the room, so you can eat it right away!
We also had a spa at the hotel and it was great to be able to use it!
The picture is taken inside the room.
Wonderful view! The staff 5
One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Wonderful room. I loved it
really not worthy of a 4 star ... room service deplorable see nonexistent, cleaning done late afternoon if you are on the top floor, but especially poorly soundproof! a complaint made by mail to customer service and even no answer! No consideration for the guests and it is meant to be a luxury hotel.
