Europe Express Review

They were inexpensive but cancelled on me, not once but twice due to the pandemic. They cancelled my first trip and told me to reschedule. After I rescheduled and gave them the new dates they said they still weren t booking travel during that time. They never informed me or my travel agent they extended their travel ban and they admitted they never informed us. I spent hours rebooking the flights. Now they want to charge me a cancellation fee of $150 per person, $300 total, for their own cancellations and ineptness. Now I m stuck using them because they refuse to give me a full refund. I would have given them a 0 but it isn t an option.

I have used them before and they were fine. However, my experience with them during the covid pandemic will probably make me look elsewhere next time. They wanted to originally charge me $1300 to cancel my trip to Greece and Italy (the flights and hotel stays were already cancelled since the country is closed) but I waited until the end and *only* had to pay them $500 for a service I never got. To be fair they did offer me a voucher good for 2 years but I am planning on starting a family and this would be our last trip for awhile. My friends who were going with us on this trip but booked elsewhere got refunded 100% and I have read that most companies did not charge this fee. Yes, I also bought travel insurance like I always do but pandemics are not covered. I love my travel agent but next time I book with her I will ask not to use this company because of the way I was treated when I needed their assistance.

Things were planned well however in times of trouble, there was no customer support. Tried calling during trip and left on hold forever. Tried communicating after trip and no reply back. Disappointed for a trip of this magnitude.

Would NEVER use this company again. Talk about the most heartless scam artists out there. We booked a vacation long before COVID and cancelled in February (months before our trip to Greece). They gave us a third of our money back although NOTHING was booked on their side yet (so they just pocketed our money). Not only was the US/Greece both shutdown and no flights going due to COVID, the borders in Greece are still closed and so it's absolutely absurd paying thousands for no trip. They wouldn't even give us credit for another trip. Total scam artists abusing their terms in an "act of god" situation. Just pocketing our money and I'm sure hundreds of others.

Whatever you do, stay away from these people at all costs. Criminals.

Never again! We decided to cancel due to the pandemic. Guess what?! Greece is closed! That s where our trip was. We asked to be rescheduled, or to hold our deposit for something else , we were denied!... twice! Our credit card tried to dispute it to no avail. They stole 3K for not doing anything. Literally nothing. Thieves! You should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of people during the pandemic. I hope karma gets you and you lose more than what you stole from us

Europe Express is a great company allowing TA's (travel agents) the opportunity to create all inclusive travel packages for clients. All inclusive, in this instance refers to the agents ability to book airfare, hotel/resort accommodations, transfers, ferries, trains and excursions through one booking engine for single and multiple destinations throughout Europe.

Zero stars but plenty of opportunity to make things right. We booked travel for 4 people to italy in Jan 2020. We are all aware of what has taken place with Covid-19 and some of us are more at risk then others. Due to health risks we can't take this trip in addition Delta has already cancelled the flight. We have made numerous attempts to receive a refund under the Airline Corona Refund bill with no results. We have $1000's tied up in this company and I would never use them in the future!!!!

Excellent! I really like the travel selection that they offer. The staff is great!

We went through a travel agent that uses Europe Express as a supplier. We were scheduled for a 2 week trip to Europe in June, of course, Covid. We rescheduled for the fall, of course, still covid. We were offered 2 options.

1) credit for future travel
2) a refund minus almost $1,000 for air changes, ok.

We were told it could take a few billing cycles. We are past that. I call the agent, she checks it out and Europe Express says they are waiting on the airfare refund. It s thousands of dollars and just ridiculous.

READ IF YOU ARE A TRAVEL AGENT
These people are scammers. Please if you re a travel agent do not use them! They refuse to refund when a situation like covid arises. They are crooks! Imagine how many people couldn t go on their trip and they decided to keep their hard earned money?. It isn t right!
