I contact them and then they call me back asking me to pay a series of telephone bills for around 500 euros, dating back to 2008/2009/2010 with a company that was divested in 2014 and from which they claim to have purchased the credit in 2022.

They offer me either a balance and an excerpt, or to go to the carabinieri to make a disavowal of what has been requested.
I think I'll opt for the second .. (but okay??), adding a nice complaint for attempted extortion ...

I dialed the number and a lady answered to whom she told me that according to them there is an unpaid gas invoice in the name of my father (who died 13 years ago) and they told me the manager of the invoices.
Too bad my father never had that manager and that however date back to January 2012 my father died October 2010. when asked if you can send me the contract that my father would have signed and also the reason that they have my number (my father had another cell phone with another number) I was told that obviously my father would have given this number.
In the insistence on confirming that my father was deceased and if he kindly sent me the contract to file a complaint against unknown persons for violation of privacy and for having stolen personal data.

Very well today 10 May 2021 they will contact me for other outstanding bills always dating back to 2011 for an amount of about 1400 , the nicest word I addressed to them was loan sharks, it will be my care to report them and also ask for a refund of the 50 , also because in the meantime I found a registered letter of cancellation dating back to 2010.
