I often have the opportunity to go to the Basel-Mulhouse airport, and every time I leave or access the buildings, I sadly regret that the roadsides are increasingly littered with detritus (plastics, bottles, cans, etc ...). What image do we give of our region from the doors of the airport? I wonder !! Is there no one who finds this situation unacceptable? Will we find it normal for these piles of waste to damage our environment? Do not you have a service that can ask for cleaning around the airport ?? I know there are unfortunately a lot of uneducated people - or who have nothing to "wax" about them - who are intentionally impairing. But I think we still have to react.
I leave you to think about this question!

The airport itself is not bad.

The airport itself is not bad.
But how it is organized and managed is really very bad! Some staff on the Swiss side understand and speak no German and that although the airport at the three-country corner to Germany and Switzerland is.
At the lifts some buttons just do not go. The staff is very rude and stressed!

Rude and totally disinterested staff. Service seems to be a foreign word.
International standards as a frequent flyer have not arrived there as it seems ..... and something
wants to call itself international airport? A poor record of this airport ....

Small airport If you are going out, I recommend bringing a sandwich. The food at the airport is very expensive.
It has part Swiss and part French, which are adjacent and it is easy to walk but complex by car. Important if you take rental car.
Otherwise, correct.

It is an impertinence in this airport of Switzerland also belongs to the people and pocket control no employee of the airport does not speak German! It is required that the passengers speak French or English! Is a joke! And in addition comes this unfriendliness and this arrogance!

So far I had many good experiences at this airport but today my wife was flying alone with our 6 month old son and no assistance was offered. She was not even allowed to use the priority security lane and had to wait with our baby in her arms for over 30min in the queue - this is very disappointing and not at all supportive for parents traveling with babies. Rey disappointing!

still long waiting times for passport control at arrival. Also some staff (especially at the security screenig after check-in) speak only French (no German or English), which is a no go at an international airport!

Actually a nice airport.

Actually a nice airport.
On arrival in Basel but a big problem at the border control and unbelievable long waiting times just to show the badge.
This accumulates extremely at the moment.

A SIMPLE airport nothing more.

A SIMPLE airport nothing more.

This is the only most important aspect of this airport.
One thing to keep in mind is the ability to recharge your devices while remaining comfortably seated.
Adjacent to the chairs are the electrical / USB sockets at the entrance to the airport after passing the first escalator that just arrived at the gates.
Bathrooms available (and you do not pay).

The airport of Basel is excellent o omage that can more go out to see the Avons and again I find that one day it will be necessary to enlarge the airports because if there are too many passengers and tourists I have lost that there will have a little more destination and enlarge it but if not it is this airport

I haven't flown from there myself yet, but family members and friends have been picked up and brought from there several times. Everyone raves about this airport and I myself about the approach via France or this side of the Rhine.

Small, congested and outdated. In dire need of renovation. Security is mostly friendly but doesn't leave a very professional impression.
Mainly low cost carriers serving European holiday destinations which reflects on the passengers using this airport.

The document checks conducted by French immigration officials on arrival (even when arriving from another Schengen country) are a ridiculous nuisance. Allow for at least half an hour as they don't bother to open more than one counter - independent of the length of the queue. Swiss immigration stopped to support their French counterparts a long time ago.

A little bad to get into it. You pass through tunnels where coverage is lost and there are many lanes and you have to be very attentive. Inside, I miss more stores and coffee shops. For how big it is, I think it falls short.

No water available: If you are thirsty you are obliged to buy a bottle of water that can cost more than 2.5 or drink from WC.
Security failure: Piles of bags that were left unattended and security seems to not care.

First time: shock. That can not be a Swiss airport. Dirty and uncomfortable with some strange architecture (isolated stairs eingetreut, whole sections without escalator etc), security check in the high season with enormous queues, unfriendly staff, but over time I have passed to call it as convenient. Short distances, bus connection to Basel SBB, usually punctual, low cost carrier. OK. Meets its purpose. You can not expect more.

Goes so. Tidy and clear with free wifi. But, long waiting times at the security, infrastructure at the limit, food and parking expensive. Arriving by public transport so-so. In addition, delays are the rule rather than the exception, but the airport can not do that.

I took flight EZS1073 this morning March 17 at 6:30. At the security check, an old jerk takes me singing, as if to taunt me, a small vial of shampoo with a capacity of 125 Ml, but half empty. Shortly after, I see that he did not see a bottle of water of 0.5 liter, which I had forgotten! Ineffective and dangerous idiots are everywhere!

I am glad that Basel has an airport. However, one forgets to use here for years the potential. The logistics at the airport is something of the worst thing you have ever seen in international comparison. Even an airport in Bali or rural China has a more efficient luggage service. Departures are relatively okay, the arrival is a disaster. Endless waiting times for passport control and luggage belt. The airport bus is the (negative) coronation. Always too little space for the passengers. Drivers racing wildly, who is not sitting is thrown back and forth. It's time to make a tram or train connection! Basle France should finally buy the piece of land and finally make a proper, functioning airport out of it !!

Definitely more annoying than holiday mood.

Definitely more annoying than holiday mood.
They even manage to carry out unnecessary passport controls when traveling within the Schengen area, at which they make you wait an extra long time (2 switches open). Then you are not sure whether you have reading difficulties because reading an identity card can take 2-3 minutes. Basel only if there is no alternative.

Very good airport with easy and quick access. Good display inside to avoid going out on the Swiss side. The front of the airport is very clean, nothing is lying on the flagstones. For boarding the control is strict but welcoming and smiling nonetheless.

Return of a flight from London, at least 4 planes ...

Return of a flight from London, at least 4 planes therefore several hundred passengers stranded and parked in a corridor like cattle for 2 poor customs officers checking passports 1 by 1 (the other gantries were empty and therefore closed). Having to undergo such a poorly organized check-up when you have already had to undergo extensive checks by the British is stressful and tiring.
A shame, it was late we were tired, waited outside and we stayed standing for 1 hour glued to each other. My partner has had an anxiety attack because she cannot remain trapped in a crowd. In the end, the person who was waiting for us outside found himself having to pay for parking by being insulted by the girl who answered the barrier. In short, a very bad memory that will have spoiled the end of a stay.
I put a star but there it deserves 0 stars so we are taken for less than nothing in this airport. Never seen it elsewhere.

Excellent airport serving Switzerland, France and Germany, very close to Basel, Sant Louis and Molhouse.
Good facilities and better service.
It would be unbeatable if the friendliness of the security control operators improved a bit. There you lose a lot of time and patience.

After a few years again at the airport Basel. This developed into a rundown low-cost carrier airport: barely dining options at the gate, hot sandwich was inedible, insufficient information of the departures, standing around barriers, poor space. A shame for the city of Basel to give their name for such an airport.

Parking situation absolutely insufficient. Not only about the offer but also about the behavior of the people.
Upper floors are empty (5th floor), 2 of 3 lifts do not work. No wonder the restaurants do not pay up.
