Series of apartments, very close to the center. There is no parking for unloading / loading of luggage, but only a small space in front of a gate adjacent to the entrance. Apartment of the right size with small terrace. One of the bedrooms has a bathroom, but no door.
Fantastically central location for where we needed to be. Rooms clean enough but a little dated. Toilet somewhat small with the only seat being the toilet, which had no lid so you have to put your things on the floor or balance it on the toilet roll dispenser as there's only a hook on the door and no shelving. Shower not super powerful but shower foam/gel provided which is a nice touch. Polite staff, good bar although we would like to have tried the food as it smelled great.
Friendly and helpful staff. Yet, it'd be more convenient if some bathroom shelves are added for placing personal bathroom items. And lamentably there's a construction site nearby which may cause some noises early in the morning.
Friendly staff and good environment. Good for reasonable priced food and drink. Or catch a game of football. Good rates for rooms and clean.

Good location and price. Check in - 11:30 am not really welcomed. I stayed in single room sharing toilet / shower room. Toilet was clean. But the shower room drain clogged with A LOT of hairs ( checked 3 shower rooms and all same) and water just stay on floor space.

Check out - early morning 5am . The staff at reception didn't refund the key deposit of 5 pounds until i mentioned! It was very strange that she asked me how much and how i paid. I had no receipt or evidence for the deposit when i checked in. It was very bad customer service and I was confused by her behavior. Finally she refunded my deposit back to my credit card and it took ages to get out from the hostel.
It was Ok to stay but never come back again.

Absolutely do not bother, especially with the 14 bed dorm. The bathrooms are shocking, shower is dirty and pressure does not exist. Kitchen is not cleaned regularly and has hardly any crockery. Waste of money, wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy!
The hostel is huge, so there were a lot of people everywhere and the kitchen was always busy and messy. We stayed in a room with 8 other people for this reason it was difficult to rest. Very good location and comfortable beds.
Definitely fine for 1 to 2 nights. The beds are clean. The prices are already quite high, but there is really a concept behind the whole store. The location is TOP. Staff is nice, but very busy - stressed. For longer stays only if you can not give up all luxury. Bathrooms are as clean as the roommates.
Value for money. No problems. I heard a couple of guests complaining Not me I was in for a sleepover. I did drop my passport in the room Got to airport without it. Phoned the hostel to ask it to be sent by taxi and I would pay. NO, I had to get taxi there and back which was NOT a good experience. Then again my fault for dropping an important document
I give him more punctuation than he deserves alone and exclusively for the location. In less than 5 minutes you are in the center and the facilities in general are not bad. But now the bad is coming .... the doors have a system of very hard springs that if you let them go they slam shut alone, here people come and go at all hours and you can not keep an eye on all night because they hey the blows from the room, then the cleaning is a bit weird in this place, they clean the minimum, the bed was not made one day, and one day before we left they left the sheets on the bed so that I suppose we did we. By the way, just ahead there is a work that starts early until 8, so you can sleep during the day while the work lasts
Simply top, the only downer, there is no public PC to check in and print out for the airline tickets

Bed is very bad. Our mattress was like a trampoline. Rooms are noisy.

Shower water just drains inside the toilet which creates a lot mess. Secondly, the door of the room doesn't lock itself while you are closing, so make sure you pull it to the extent that it is locked. Plus, the rooms aren't sound proof, i could literally hear everything happening in the corridor and the room next to me. In the morning, i even heard the alarm ringing next door. Can you imagine, how frustrating it would have been?
Comfortable affordable hostel with a central location, not far from Glasgow center. Searched twice during my stay here, both times satisfied in all respects: service, hygiene, breakfast and location.
Only, at night, buses and trains run across the street, which can be quite loud in the room. Would advise ear plugs.

It s a clean place, a cheap place. I stayed in a double room which had a double bed bunk bed with a single over the top. Shower was within the room but separate from the beds. The sink was in the hallway so someone can brush their teeth More

Room was superb value for money on short notice but heating would've been nice. Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, room was more than enough! I'll be back :)

Only thing it's got going for it is the central location and friendly staff. The room we had gets hot and had the power point it a crappy spot. Not to mention the noisy beds and lifts near our room with only one lift working.
Didn't feel clean (by flexible standards), low water pressure, basic hostel amenities absent. That said, decent value and great location
Upgraded to a private room without requesting it, which was a nice break from the larger dorms.
Kitchen needs some serious upkeep but I think that is the problem of the people staying here not the staff on site.
Will definitely stay again.

Excellent location, comfortable rooms, kitchen could be cleaner, but all in all very good hostel, I recommend it. Staff is very nice.
The room was disgusting, the en-suite bathroom was dirty, the mattress was covered in hair and you could feel every spring. There was extremely loud music in the pub downstairs. We left again immediately and could not stay in our room for the night we had booked. Fortunately, the staff offered us a refund.
Buget in mind, then right place to stay in Glasgow, in the heart of the city
Rented a towel for 8 BP and was told they would not accept the return and exchange for deposit without receipt, even though I was not told I needed the receipt for the return when rented. I had paid with card and so they certainly had a electronic record - apparently first instinct here is to assume their guests are looking to swindle them out of some money with plain white towel returns.
Also no place to lock belongings in them rooms - typically hostels allow you to use locks to secure critical items such as passports & computers, but not here.
Good prices, but this afternoon they had run out of almost all the beers on tap.
More like a budget hotel. The bar is very good with cheap drinks and meals.

A recent visit wasn't as great as there were some younger adults abusing substances in a dorm I'd booked, fortunately the staff had evicted them.
I can't hold the venue responsible for their behavior, but the discomfort of the situation has left a sour taste in my mouth.
Stayed here a bunch of times whenever we have a night out in Glasgow booked. Always clean. The price you pay is spot on for what you get. Would recommend to anyone.

My sister and I shared a twin room. Room was clean but we got no sleep as people were shouting and partying all night. Eventually I had to go and complain at 3am. Staff did speak to the room that was making all the noise but a hostel this size should be checked regularly to make sure people are not getting disturbed. No evidence of this as noise went on for hours before I got up to go down three floors to complain.

The staff never clean the room, they just emptied the bin once! The shower is not working properly; the remote for the tele is not working properly; no bedside table or any furniture for the cloth..just a little tray on the entrance.
You must mind the door because it's not closing properly and you may leave it open!
Nice place. I recommend groups of 7-8 people, you can get the whole module for yourself. Strict city center and the cheapest beer in Glasgow in the pub.

Staff were fairly friendly. Rooms were cheap. Location was very good and close to centre. Facilities weren't good. For a room of 4 there were only 2 plugs. No air con or fan. We stayed in the ninth floor and the room was unbearably hot, even when it was cold and raining outside. Building works directly outside window were very loud and impossible to sleep through. I know this isn't the hotel's fault but would have been nice to have been warned and maybe given some earplugs at check in.
Good prices, but do not expect comfort or tranquility at night.

Awful experience. There was still trash in our bathroom bin when we checked in, and it smelled bad. Elevators didn't work. One of them was broken, and the other would never actually go to the top floor (where we were) so we ended up having to go down 8 flights of stairs with our luggage. Staff was not helpful, even in managing noise made in the hallways in the middle of the night.
In price quality it is worth it. The location is the best because it is totally central. Friendly employees, rooms quite clean and comfortable. To say the least, that at least in my room, there were no instructions to store large suitcases, only two small lockers, but in the case of a 4-person room, the first ones who were there took the ticket office.
Best hostel I've stayed in so far - got a private double bed room and it was essentially a small hotel room. Only thing missing was the kettle!
Very friendly staff. Fitted us in at 22:30 and were available for any questions. Towels and linen provided. Showers not fast but were hot. Private room had a TV, not sure about dorms

I had to take some time before I wrote my review in order to be as objective as I can. If you are looking for a place to sleep and nothing more this place is fine enough.
But if you re looking for a hostel... you can do so much better. This is more like a cheap place to crash after a party or concert. Unfortunately the common room feels more like a cafeteria or office definitely not the kind of place to meet cool people who are also on their travels around the world, so in that regard the atmosphere was lacking. The bathrooms certainly are not cleaned on a regular basis, but they do function. The staff are friendly. Security is decent I did very much appreciate the full gear lockers. Admittedly the location is pretty hard to beat... it is quite close to many amenities and to transport. The cheap rent was also good.
I gave this review three stars because this place does well enough that in a pinch, I could stay here again. However it did not get a fourth star or higher because I am not in any rush to go back.

I stayed here a while back in a single room. The place is described as a hostel but is located in a tower block. It's kind of lacking in atmosphere if you're concerned about this, but is great value and convenient, with shopping malls and supermarkets nearby. There's a large communal self-catering kitchen on one of the floors. Okay staff, with everything going smoothly. Get's the job done as far as I'm concerned.
Little information about the parking we paid 34livres for two days because the manager was unable to explain the correct operation to what good to pay as little if the parking is twice as expensive as the hotel, showers with ridiculous debit , equipped kitchen but no glasses, plates or even bowls to be able to eat. The general atmosphere is quite poor and asterised. To book for the price but do not expect great things ...
Very nice place to stay in. Only problem we really had was that the beds felt like they were very old. Felt like we were falling into them and made for a restless sleep. Otherwise everything else was great!
