I had to take some time before I wrote my review in order to be as objective as I can. If you are looking for a place to sleep and nothing more this place is fine enough.
But if you re looking for a hostel... you can do so much better. This is more like a cheap place to crash after a party or concert. Unfortunately the common room feels more like a cafeteria or office definitely not the kind of place to meet cool people who are also on their travels around the world, so in that regard the atmosphere was lacking. The bathrooms certainly are not cleaned on a regular basis, but they do function. The staff are friendly. Security is decent I did very much appreciate the full gear lockers. Admittedly the location is pretty hard to beat... it is quite close to many amenities and to transport. The cheap rent was also good.
I gave this review three stars because this place does well enough that in a pinch, I could stay here again. However it did not get a fourth star or higher because I am not in any rush to go back.
