The greatest shopping wonderland. If you like branded stuff. But there are too many chinese tourists
Very busy, loudy unorganized mall. Really hard to shop there.
mega shopping stamp with sights such as the glass bridge under the dome, great
The Spanish English court. You eat very well at the buffet and it is not expensive
Everything you need under one roof.. amazing shopping experience!
But you can't buy anything unless you have money over and don't know where to put it
Roof top view is awesome. Must check out the roof top view. Very crowded place. Also veg food is hard to get in this mall.
Magnificent emblematic stores of Paris. We do not go for the prices but we take full eyes ... always so beautiful.
Even if I think that the outdoor windows have lost their magic over time ...
Have all world class brands over there...a mix of medium to high budget shopping....worth visiting...two distinct buildings ..one for Men and the other for women....view inside is marvellous...washroom facilities in the 5th and 6th floors are too good ....food court and the French chocolate section are worth mentioning..
It's beautiful ..... it's great .. it's popular .... it's saturated on weekends .... '
Great place to shop! Some of the best worldwide brands are here.
Wonderful space to see and buy the best fashion brands. Traditional gallery that sets trends. Unmissable to let it pass and not enter.
World reference in fashion and trade events. Many luxury brands and beautiful decoration all seasons of the year. I like to go there especially for the seasonal decorations. But you have to be ready to scramble because of the large number of tourists! Otherwise, it's very easy to get to and well located in the city.
A high standig shopping center in a magnificent building
Elegant, many brandname shop here, fast tax refund system, clean toilet.
What a wonderful place! Great food and view at the top 9f the gallery store. Lovely.
Department stores, or stores in general are not what appeal to me, but I knew of the beautiful inside dome of the Galleries Lafayette. My idea of the galleries was that they were more as ateliers than shop stands, so getting there was very deal disappointing to me to know that it is basically a big and famous department store in Paris because it has all this brands. Not of fan of the consuming society, specially when we are talking about exuberant prices for things that are not even that beautiful some of them and products that are produced using animals and test on animals. The first floor floor, make up and jewelry, was packed of people which made the store incredibly warm and uncomfortable, so I took a photo of the dome, and some photos of the inside architecture, and went as soon as I could to the book shop and stationary part. What saves the visit is probably the 180 degrees view on the rooftop, where you can see some of the iconic monuments and building of Paris. For me the experience was not good, despite having a very good range of stationery and books on display, the lack of comfortability inside the store, especially on the ground and first floor is immense, not having much room to walk or even just move. I like to have some space to breath in a store. And the femme department doesn't offer that. The homme department is much nicer and calm, having more space to breath but much less things on display, and the brands there have a more beautiful product, clean and comfortable. However the inside of the store is not very appealing or unique, as it was with the femme department.
House and kitchen I just entered quickly but it looked more cleaned organised and more beautifully designed than the others.
But the overall, it just likes like an expensive shopping mall, that hasn't adapt its interior design, and has no unique.( just the dome area and the view)
Some incredible food here. But one restroom only on the 3rd floor. So if you have elderly parents be warned.
Great choice .Of presented. Excellent Disney Shop at 4th floor. Magnificent Art Deco dome with gateway type Grand Canyon.
The big negative is the service. Indeed, waitresses speak very poor French and speak better in Chinese ... Too bad that here we do not think about the Parisian clientele, although I realize that it is very likely to denigrate locals in our shops. Asia tour guaranteed! :)
Galeries Lafayette brand shopping
To visit even without shopping
I honestly found Harrods in London much nicer. The glass bridge suspended on the third floor is pleasant and suggestive, from which you can admire the dome of the shopping center and, at the same time, the shops on the ground floor
I love this store because there is everything for everyone and at a reasonable price.
Really expensive department store. The building is impressive so it's worth a trip and browsing can be fun but everything was way out of our reach!
Context: family walk during the Christmas period.
Good and well nothing to say, it is large it is beautiful it is luxurious it is the galleries and what one expects from this place.
The windows are superb, the tree inside is magnificent. Even if I preferred the other years but it remains purely subjective.
I recommend the place. To see at least once.
What to say about these galleries, right ... you miss the amount of beautiful things that expose ...
I just love the galleries! I advise you to go on the terrace to enjoy a magnificent view of all of Paris and the opera.
Magnificent store which is part of French heritage, "this is only my personal opinion"
High-end shopping mall that never disappoints! Affordable prices for last-minute gifts even if they cost less! Showcases always fun and original!
What to say about one of the most beautiful shopping malls in the world? Wonderful perfumery department, such as clothing and souvenir departments. You can find gifts for all budgets. Obliged stop.
They have a variety of foods, for all tastes, you will inevitably find something you like. Good place, recommended.
Very beautiful Christmas entertainment, magnificent Christmas tree, still as cult as ever.
Marvelous encloses this film place with a single word
Beautiful but overcrowded. I hate places where buying makes me stress.
Amazing building, spectacular store!
Can be a bit crowded at times, but the cupola is a must see while in Paris
The creativity of the brands is present, in an original decor and its unique vault !!
The usual wonderful place..although a little expensive in general.
The store is really very good, majestic, unfortunately the luxury department is to be avoided because the queues to buy a bag are endless, due to Chinese tourists.
What beautiful architecture, to find the latest fashion trends, very nice.
Super beautiful with a magnificent view on the roof!
A beautiful dome and the views of the city are spectacular. There are many visitors, yes.
Lots of prestige and quite expensive. Other than that it's French so it's good
Paris historic store, magnificent facade and a pleasant terrace restaurant in summer
A square that has a great style, it is not very big, but it has many departments of clothing, perfumes, souvenirs, toys, among others. If you are in the area as a tourist, take a look inside. At Christmas they put a hanging tree that is very beautiful to appreciate.
Mythical department store
The view from its rotunda ceiling is worth seeing
Important choice professional and friendly staff well decorated. See the tree absolutely in Christmas colors
A criticism of the aisles too narrow ...
It is not for a retired teacher. Empty without tourists.
We called at 6:00pm and they said they were open until 8:00pm - Paid $30.00 for taxi and when we got there they decided to close at 6:15pm - This place is a joke
It was a store for everyone, it became a store for a category of tourists.
At Christmas the toy department has been shrinking for some time.
What is unfortunate is that as it was transformed, the store lost a precious quality:
the consulting and professional side that his staff had.
Damage for old customers.
Upper echelon shopping. Paris' version of rodeo drive. Gorgeous at Christmas.
Beautiful, huge, crowded, every major designer represented. Don't miss the ceiling it's fantastic. Their loss prevention people are gangster.
Very large mall, very expensive stores. They had one bathroom on the bottom floor with a 20 min wait and the floors were flooded. You think they could provide a clean shopping experience when they sell dresses and coats for 1,200 that you can find else where for 70.
