Whenever I go to Paris, I absolutely have to go up on the roofs of the galleries The view is magnificent.

Always a great pleasure to come back to visit this site. The terrace gives a magnificent view. Soon a restaurant will be great! Inside the bridge can give feelings when you fear the void like me.
The toilet is on the highest floor, which is inconvenient for customers.
Excellent shopping arcade, where you can find all the great fashion brands ... the prices are high. Something crowded on the entrance floor
Incomparable, inimitable this famous department store.
Magic at Christmas time, an effective outing that transports you to a magical world
Watch out for the world though!
Too expensive. Too noisy. Pretentious saleswomen. Too bad because beautiful store ...
What a site !!! Luxury for luxury ... the cupola building is spectacular
Very unfortunate to see an institution like the Lafayettes galleries sink into the "all tourist". Here it has become the continuous surge of tourist buses ... the Parisian no longer has its place since it is visibly less attractive than the financial windfall of tourists. Too bad it was fifteen years ago the benchmark for luxury and good taste. The fault of mass tourism.
Huge, dispersive, infinite. I don't like these places, but for expensive shopping, it's the best place
Everything you need is there, of course at high prices
Love it! One may get lost in here. If you need any help, ask the assistants at every floor.
I love Lafayette ..... Wonderful shopping center ..... Top-rated shops ......
A must for shopping friends.
Once through the gallery, onto the platform and calmly look at the glittering domed vault and the beautifully decorated boxes. After shopping in the restaurant, have a coffee and then rooftop to enjoy the view of Paris.
Very nice indoors, well decorated. Had lots of big brands to shop for.
Very expensive and full of shoppers which makes you sick... and there is no service to put your bags till you finish shopping
What an awful experience ! I will never set foot in this place again...
I ordered a dish that came with an omelette covered in ketchup and specified I did not want my omelette to be topped by ketchup : the waiter repeated no ketchup - next thing I know they bring me the omelette completely messed up in ketchup !
So I tell them that I asked for no ketchup but that I ll try to eat it like this anyway, and before I could start the plate they take it off my sight to re-do the omelette ?? which I never asked for.
The cooks in the kitchen were yelling and laughing and the waiter brought me back an omelette filled with egg shells ! I am not kidding : they had dropped at least the entire eggshell of an egg (if not more !) it was basically impossible to eat... I bit in it and almost choked, there was no way to swallow that nasty omelette made of eggshells.
I paid and exited without a comment because they seemed like such horrible people, I absolutely did not want them to ruin my day any further by engaging with that staff who was so hostile, rude and ready to fight the customers.
They basically retaliated by choking me with eggshells blatantly thrown in my omelette, just for re-doing an omelette that I didn t even ask for... seriously, what kind of people behave this way ! I am choked and outraged.
It's beautiful, too many beautiful things!
Unfortunately not for my wallet
Good place to shop branded fashion things. However discount cannot be used for international tourist, only for locals. We found it a bit misleading (we just found about this fact after had a chat with shopkeeper when we enquired a discounted Furla bag and she said unfortunately the disc is only for locals as tourist had their 12% tax refund. But still a good place if you want to compare the place (and then just buy the item at the airport so you got tax free automatically)
The Galleries, when I think about it, it's probably the Department Store where I feel best.
Many brands, including, of course, the very good one, from the Galleries themselves, rub shoulders in all areas.
The store reserved for the house accommodates a space, I would say food, where you can do some shopping, including fruit and vegetables, but also eat in a perfectly suitable way at prices accessible to everyone by varying the types of cuisine and the nature of the products ...
The welcome is friendly and competent everywhere and we can sense everyone's desire to satisfy the customer.
A very beautiful brand that evolves well with the times, to the delight of its customers, French, of course, but also foreign, attracted by the very big brands it hosts ...
Heaven for Fine Cuisine Buffs, right behind the Opera of Paris !
Probably one of the prettiest and largest department store I've ever seen! All the brands that one can imagine can be found here. The large central dome with it's skywalk is stunningly beautiful! A must see on any visit to Paris. Very expensive, but go there at least to see the place. You won't regret it!
Wide choice of brand some of which rather hard to find elsewhere. However due to its success there are too many people and the shop becomes oppressive.
Very gorgeous department store, but the route planning is not obvious. There are many people. The toilets are not on every floor. It is recommended to place people who visit with you (such as the 6th floor)
What a beautiful place, the scent of Truffles and Ham Parmes you home and ... your only desire is to try all the delicious desserts that are exposed. A very nice initiative and a delight for the eyes as for the stomachs
Imagine Harrods, Selfridge's and Debenhams fashion, jewellery, cosmetics and perfume all wrapped up in one huge store (with the food court on the other side of the street which I didn't get around to visiting).
Be prepared for a quick security bag check with staff that may not be the most understanding to the fact you've loads of shopping and a minimum amount of French. But once through the doors, you're introduced to a vast selection of goods. Slightly overwhelming but hugely exciting.
I went 2 weeks before Christmas and the amount of people in store was immense. I cannot say whether or not it's always like that but, from an educated guess, I'd say it would be.
Every member of sales staff I looked at was well presented, welcoming and exceptionally polite - it all felt sincere, as well.
A little bit of Korean Rochi, it feels like the main store of Lotte Department Store. There are a lot of people, so it feels like a market. There are no burdensome staff, the sales rate is too easy to see, and all the Tex Free is done so I was really comfortable shopping!! The distribution structure itself is quite different from that of our department stores in Europe, so it tastes like Europe to shop.
Bit small and thus can get crowded. Food as usual is good.
Very beautiful building and free terrace which gives a very nice view of Paris
Especially no order online!
Several messages to support but no response more than 3 weeks after an order online (while supposed to be sent 48 hours later).
I recommend the physical store, but DO NOT BUY ON THE INTERNET!
Great assortment of groceries, meat, cheese, tea, coffee, spices and a lot of other stuff. You can spend a whole afternoon here
Quite badly indicated inside. Signs yes but complicated to navigate.
Typical, it is worth a visit, even if not lovers of the genre, even without the need for purchases. Multiple indoor bars. Direct entrance by metro.
If only for the building it is already worth it. All the luxury shops in Paris together
Very cool gallery space and exposition as part of the Musee D'Orsay.
The triumph of luxury and pomp and a breathtaking view of the Paris skiline from the terrace
The building itself is beautiful and the name itself describes it, as a gallery. Lots of different brands and everything is expensive, everyone is worth going and at least seeing
Magnificent place ... Breathtaking architecture, especially the dome.
If you like shopping, you have come to the right place.
Nice building with all the famous expensive brands.
For the holidays it's always nice to see the decoration of this store.
A little too many tourists, but it's the neighborhood that wants that ...
I went today to exchange a gift. The people were really very professional and helpful. I took advantage of the coup to do some shopping. Staff just at the top. It's a pleasure
Magnificent, crowded, Chinese children, strong consumption
Site with excellent corners and breathtaking building. It is worth visiting the building itself with a special emphasis on the dome that is to take the air out.
A luxurious place for international brands
Perfumes
Hours
Bags
A beautiful mall deserves to go to, even if you want to buy
Beautiful watching from a great atmosphere
For me one of the main attractions of Paris. Even if I don't buy anything in here.. this building looks so awesome.. also the rooftop Terrasse which is completely for free to visit - perfect start for some days in Paris.
In the lower floors the prices are highest. They lower a little bit with every floor you go upstairs
Expensive, only the most expensive branches.
We lost sunglasses there, but not much service to help find them again.
Clean and cool, that s good. Creative products.
Wow amazing shopping centre. Be prepared for a big hole in your pocket. Some shops like LV you have to line up to get served by Chinese people. Not many local people. Sales people were mostly foreigners is Chinese. Language barrier unless they have been employed to assist mass number the Chinese from China. I mostly saw Chinese people buying LV.
Lafayette Gourmet excellent small class rooms for lunch shelves of breathtaking pastries zero fault warm welcome
It is a place where there is everything you can imagine buying, there are good prices according to the luxury brands they sell because you find price opportunities even if they do not believe it, I went at a very busy time and it is a little overwhelming to the who love to see people, it will be an excellent experience, for those who like everything more alone, I recommend it in the week. It is visually very nice, good brands, variety and if there is a possibility of finding good prices.
Magnificent Ceiling, with a walkway at the top to admire it more closely.
Was told this is the original macron makers in Paris. Interesting flavors, some are innovative and expected nice, some are definitely experimental. Still quite enjoyable overall.
Mythical place. The Christmas decorations are always fascinating as is also the spirit of department stores where we find EVERYTHING!
Beautiful but soulless store sellers can not say hello! Everything is turned towards the tourist. Tail like Disney to access the luxury stands! Which in this store as in that of spring makes the less luxurious products more gadgets for tourists. In short it is a factory for tourists or customers who seek elegance there is no place for real Parisian shopping it is better to go to the cheap !!!
Simply the most beautiful department store in Paris.
In a building of magnificent architecture, full of mini brand boutique! The highlight of the show is the terrace on the 7th floor with a more than wonderful view ...... Do not miss
The only place to go is at the top of the mall for the view
French version of Neumann Marcus. Great selection of shops
Luxury on all floors. A real pleasure for the eyes and to please yourself
Splendid view from the roof of the Lafayette galleries
Beautiful and luxurious. We were going to have lunch in the food court which was really accessible and of good quality. For 18/20 eur we ate 2 a good dish. You choose what you like and pay for what you choose and add more soda or water. You have a nice view of the tower. And on the top floor a kind of gazebo terrace with an incredible view
