Very nice evening.... our waitress was awesome... food was also great .... one note.... the butterfly shrimps were really small. Only negative point !

I ate there once and won't go back. What money this restaurant makes from orders is not spent on cleanliness and maintenance. The menu is alright but not great, the service fair and the owner a miserable old sod. When eating, try not to look at the carpet, the baseboard heaters and window sills. This will put you off you meal...unless you are accustomed to filth. In the vicinity, much better alternatives are Marathon Souvlaki or Au Vieux Duluth.

Used to love this place, not so much now, prices increased, portions decreased, fake scallops wrapped in real bacon, the chicken is your best choice

Excellent food and choices. Very friendly staff and lovely ambience. The restaurant is in a very old home which makes you feel cozy and comfortable in addition to the large windows lighting up the whole place. Their lunch specials are good portions at an affordable price. Must try.

Overcrowded restaurant. Uneven floors so you often sit at an angle. They cram in as many tables as possible so you often get hit by passing waiters. Waiters are obviously rushed by management. Last time I was there I was brought the wrong meal. The waitress asked if I really wanted to wait for my real order which would take long or just take the one she had brought by mistake.Then she tried clearing our plates before we were finished eating. This review is not based on one visit. I have family who love this restaurant for some unknown reason (probably the price) so I keep having to go for family events...and am disappointed every time. Oh and don't fall for the offer of free tzatziki on their website. I have tried it twice and the waiter never knows what I'm talking about when I get there. Please avoid this place! I rarely review so poorly but cannot believe this place is still in business with this type of approach. Food is ok.

The food is very good, the prices are reasonable and the service is attentive. Although we arrived early after the opening, without reservation, there was only one table left. In order to avoid the disappointment of running out of space, it is better to book. Do not forget to bring your own wine.

It's alright. Unless you're over the age of 50 you won't be blown away. The wait staff is really nice. Although the old man who saw us to our table with about the equivalent life of a pallbearer showing us to our own grave and who complained at his staff really gave us a dower first impression of the meal to come. Will update the star rating +-1 depending on my bowel movement tonight.

I do not recommend this place at all. They squish you in there like sardines in a can. A customer s comfort does not seem to be a concern to them; they just pack you in there I m guessing for more money. Cannot comment on the food - I left due to the claustrophobic and dark atmosphere. Flashlights are needed to peruse the menu.

I was never impressed by this restaurants hostess and servants. Yesterday I made an online reservation for our table and food as per instructions on their website. I ordered our food and I was automatically given a Tzatziki sauce once my order reached $30. However once at the restaurant I was told that this option was only for a pick up! They ended up charging me $6 + tax for this sauce that I didn t even order and was offered to me! This is I was tricked to buy this sauce.
I am vegetarian and they no longer offer vege menu. So they brought me bay leave wraps which was not fresh at all and I could not tolerate it + a spinach pie.

Great restaurant. Food is delicious, quantity of food is massive and prices are great. Can't go wrong with that combination!. Best waitress in the world Maria! Maria provided excellent service, very patient with clients and always has a great smile servicing clients.

It's a small restaurant, so it's cramped and there can be a lineup when it's busy. Had the lamb chops, they were over cooked, and very tiny, almost no meat on the bone.

This restaurant gives menus in English only at the entrance, I think they are not interested in French speaking customers.

Colleagues and I often go there during lunch to highlight events. If you give your order by phone 1 hour before, the service is blazing fast! Also, food is good, portions are generous and price is low. Highly recommended.

Bring your own bottle of wine. No corking fee. Sit outside! Parking in the back.

Was there for lunch with 20 people. Good service, good food, excellent value for lunch.

We were a small group at lunchtime. We all ordered off the lunch menu. We had the souvlaki, the lamb chops, and the moussaka. The meal came with a starter of soup or salad. We all chose the bean soup. It came quickly and was hot and filled with beans and some other vegetables. We all agreed that the main courses were delicious. Kevin was our server. He was polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and very professional in his work. It was a great experience and we will return soon.

Food is a bit greasy (no pun intended). Too crowded for my taste. Very popular in the west island.

This place has really gone downhill. It was very dirty. I had to ask the waiter to change the table cloth as it had crumbs all over it. Also my side plate had to be changed as well. I looked around and the floors were filthy. They used duct tape to keep the windows closed? Keep out drafts? The windows were also filthy. I ordered the chicken and shrimp. The chicken was good but the shrimps (only 2) were cold . Came with a bit of rice and a underdressed lettuce salad with like one piece of cucumber. Sorry to say I'll never come here again. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This place has lovely decor. Good lunchtime price and value. Could serve larger vegetarian brochette as in 2 of them. Vegetables are cheap but you need alot of them to get full.

The food is awesome there. The price is just right. On how much food you get. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is...?? It's a little bit dark and it's not kids friendly. As for example. My niece is 4 yrs of age. And poor her. They can't see a child standing or getting something off the floor. Could cause injuries for the child and the employee...Other than that. Food is excellent and the price. Just remember to bring your own alcohol with you! As they don't have any or juice there. Just water and soda pop....

We were a fairly large group. Service was quick and the food delicious! I can see why this restautant is a West Island favourite.

Would have rated this higher based on two previous visits to this venerable BYOW restaurant in the West Island. This last visit was a disappointment though. Waiter recommends the grilled octopus as an appetizer - none left when we do order it. One of us orders the ocean platter but they were out frogs legs without telling us before (or when) the meal arrived. We had to point it out. The grilled salmon arrived burnt and dry. We returned it and guess what? - no more left. This was on a Friday night too.

Pretty standard fare fast food Greek a la Casa Grec. Nothing much else to say. Not fantastic or terrible, just really standard frozen to serve seafood and fish, generously large plates. Not authentic by any means but does the trick when hungry. Pretty standard service, nothing special. Usually busy and loud, though never understood the expensive cars sometimes parked outside and the number of people that go here for a date! Location is fairly dark and music can at times be loud.

Best value for your money restaurant in the west island.

Ordered the New York steak, left me very unsatisfied. I was told however it was one of the last two. However, their calamari is out of this world. If there is any reason for you to come to this restaurant, it's for the calamari.

Really good food. Well priced. BYOB. The owner/host is a bit of a jerk. Service varies between amazing and terrible. Reserve seating as well as meals in advance. Yes, meals! They sometimes run out of the more popular items, like steak.

Without doubt one of my favorite restaurant! Good ambiance, good tasting food in huge plates, and at a great price! Oh and bring your own wine! Their souvlaki is really good! But lamb chop quality varies quite a bit though, so consider yourselves warned!

Thank goodness the food is good because the decor (carpet and furniture is decrepit) and cleanliness is poor. The terrace has old rusty uncomfortable chairs and the plastic table coverings were dirty and moldy on the underside. Hope this does not reflect the cleanliness of the kitchen. It's time the owner invest in new furniture and more high end look as it so desperately needs it! Please revamp your space as it's a good BYOW place but as it is now it looks cheap and neglected.

Changed my rating from 5 stars to 2. We have been eating here often and we really liked this restaurant. Not everything on the menu was great but enough was very good. Unfortunately a few months ago the food we ordered was not good. (The filet mignon was tough and not as it used to be etc.) We assumed that the kitchen was having a bad night. It happens. But now we have returned twice more and both times the same. They may be serving a cheaper cut of meat. (Don't know). What I do know is that, sadly, we will not be returning. There are just too many restaurants around here that are much better.

A very home-y feel to the space, though a little overcrowded.

I ordered the filet of dore, and unfortunately it wasn't great. It lacked in flavour and tasted almost pasty. When one of my dinner mates asked for her salad to be packaged to go, the waiter brought a salad before even taking away her plate! We assume it must have come from another patron's plate. The waiter seemed generally confused that evening, it could have just been an off night for him though.

The food is delicious. I highly suggest the fillet mignon. Every bite will have you pray to the god of your choice. You will get out of the restaurant satisfied. Perfect value. Perfect price. Warm and cozy. You will have to try this place at least once and then keep visiting every month if you can
